Great island vacation spot

The staff, as some other reviews mentioned, not all of them speak English, but they are great, so just have your phone on you and use a translator app 👍 The beach access The pool The free shuttle to the city center

KS 3-4 sao mà khi bước vào phòng lại thấy để sẵn 1 cái quáy hộp vì phòng quá nóng phải dùng quạt - Ks K coa bãi biển ( bãi biển sóng to và đá k tắm dx) nhưng lại để ghế nằm gây hiểu lầm - hồ nhỏ nhỏ đống rong. thiết kế bể tràn qua bể nhỏ nhưng bể nhỏ quá thấp tính ra k có công dụng - Ks coa dv đưa rước nhưng k gọi trước cho kh hỏi về điểm đón. khi đến thì hỏi ủa sao chị k gọi e rước - khu giải trí có bàn bida thì nhân viên chơi. khách phải đợi - Nhân viên bận đồ k tươm tất. - ăn Sáng Buffet vs giá 400k tuy nhiên ks vắng khách lại đưa 1 menu viết tay có vài món kêu gọi trên menu ( coa thể chọn nhiều món) món cari gà đông lạnh hâm lại. thịt rã rịu hết. tôi đã thấy nhân viên lấy cf pha uống trong quày live - Tôi đac chi cho tiền phòng + 400k ân sang nhưng vô cùng tệ và k đáng tiền

Nothing a hotel with overpriced average food Unhelpful staff Rooms full of mold There is no beach just a very dirty broken pool We left after the first night my daughters couldn't breathe from the mold They obviously refunded us the remainder of our stay after we showed pictures

Con Dao: a great discovery

Con Dao is very, very beautiful. And the location of the Hotel is ideal if what you are looking for is tranquility. It is about 5 km from the only town on the island of Con Son. You will need a scooter to get around. But you will still need a scooter to get around the island, whatever hotel you choose for your stay. The bay in front of the hotel is very pretty, with its private beach. The small Bãi Nhát beach about 2 km east of the resort is also very beautiful: perhaps one of the most beautiful spots in the entire Con Dao. The Hotel has all the essential services, has beautiful rooms (we had chosen an Ocean View), and the quality of the services is OK for a Hotel of that category (considering the context: you are in Vietnam and you are on a small island ...). A fair amount of the staff speaks English and everyone is very kind and friendly

The quality and standard of the breakfast could perhaps be improved. Even the level of cleanliness is not exactly excellent (we cleaned the shower drain ourselves; the balcony is not part of the daily room cleaning protocol, so adjust accordingly...). In 3 days of our stay we were unable to obtain instructions for using the safe: in the end we gave up on using it.

De mooie plek aan het strand en het comfort van de kamer, de service die ze verleenden toen we een dag te laat aankwamen bij missing the boat

Unique remote location for spacious rooms, away from the crowds.

Stunning location, maybe 10 km from the little town. On a secluded bay. Staff is very well-meaning and helpful, though most of them speak limited English. Our room and balcony are huge. Pay extra for room facing the sea!

We love that, but the location does require a taxi ride of 10-15 min into town for restaurants.

Jest to naprawdę bardzo dobry hotel! 15 min skuterem od miasta, ale to tylko na plus, bo dzięki temu jest tam bardzo cicho, a można wyporzyczyc skuter w hotelu. Prywatna plaza, jest świetna. Polecam zwiąć pokój z widokiem na morze <3

Total relaxation with great service and food.

Outstanding breakfast. Huge choice and delicious. Staff are great - very friendly and very efficient. Room is beautiful. Location is very peaceful with a great beach and lovely scenery around. If you want to get away from it all it's perfect.

The most beautifully located hotel you could think of

Orson hotel is the most beautifully located hotel you could think of. It's the only hotel in a beautiful bay, with its own beach. It also has a great infinity pool with sun beds always available. We had booked a Deluxe Suite for panoramic sea and jungle views and it was worth it. The room was spacious with a large balcony, direct sea view. Its has had some handy amenities like good TV, kettle, bathrobes, toiletries, coffee and tea etc. The room was made everyday at request. The breakfast was tasty and versatile with fresh fruits, eggs made to order plus large selection of asian foods. The hotel rents scooters cheaply.

The hotel public premises could be kept a bit better.

Traumhafte Lage - trotzdem überzeugte und das Hotel nicht.

Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Aussicht vom Balkon ist überwältigend. Zudem war das Zimmer und das Bett recht gross. Der Aussenpool ist sehr schön und der Strand war sauber.

Das Abendessen war sehr schlecht. Es gab jeweils nur ein Frühstückbuffet, wenn sich genügend Gäste im Hotel befanden (ansonsten konnte man aus einer Auswahl an Speisen wählen, die an den Tisch serviert wurden). Zudem war es auch nicht sonderlich gut. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es keine Restaurants. Wenn man nicht im Hotel essen möchte, muss man in die Stadt fahren. Beim Duschen lief das Wasser nicht richtig ab und überschwemmte das gesamte Badezimmer. Die Poolbar sowie die Rooftop Bar waren geschlossen. Die Liegestühle waren mehrheitlich defekt und müssten dringendst ersetzt werden. Die Duschmöglichkeit sowie die Toilette beim Poolbereich bietet keine Privatsphäre und sieht schäbig aus. Das Hotel entspricht eher einem 3* Hotel. Zudem ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen und Teilbereiche müssten saniert werden. Viele Mitarbeitende beherrschen keine Fremdsprache oder hatten nur rudimentäre Englischkenntnisse.

Perfect place to relax after the hectic pace of the big cities in Vietnam

Stunning location, wonderful staff, amazing pool. Very generous size rooms with lovely private balcony. Excellent scooters for hire - very reasonably price and an easy safe ride into town.

I had to unfortunately cut my stay short due to flight issues, but would recommend.

The private beach is stunning, the pool is fantastic, the room was spacious and the bed is very comfortable! The staff are also helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Nothing to complain about really. I think maybe the food menu could include some more traditional Vietnamese dishes or easier to understand for a non Vietnamese person.

Peaceful and fancy

The pool is the best we've ever seen. Great view, with good sunbeds and served by a bar. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The pick-up and drop-off went smoothly. Even though it is far from the centre, the hotel has a daily shuttle free for guests. You can also get there by motorbike, which the hotel rents.

The beach is filled with rocks and not as sandy as you find on other places of the island.

We loved the view from the room and private beach location.

The view from the seaview room was excellent. Set meals in the restaurant were delicious and good value and the buffet breakfast catered for all tastes. The nightly shuttle into town was welcome. The infinity pool was clean and a suitable substitute when the ocean was too rough to swim.

The hotel is quite remote and a daytime shuttle service into town would be appreciated. There were a number of items listed in the hotel information (eg. pool bar and in-room dining menu) that didn't exist. The TV had no free-to-air programs available (only Netflix using your own paid account). There was a smell coming out of the bathroom pipes. All tiles throughout the hotel were slippery and were constantly wet and dangerous. They should be replaced with non-slip tiles.

A great escape

The staff are friendly and kind and went out of their way to be helpful by assisting us with whatever we needed. Breakfast was included in our stay. The hotel has beautiful grounds. The pool looked over to the oceans. The hotel is isolated and far from the city centre however motobikes are easily rented from the hotel. The beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean. I had forgotten my laptop at home and the hotel assisted me and allowed me to use theirs so that I could get some work done in the evenings. They are exceptionally helpful.

For what you pay per night they don't offer much. It's a big hotel and it seems a little unfinished. There's no gym or spa facility. Food at the restaurant is overpriced for what you get. For the amount you pay, there's no service such as room service. The restaurant closes at 9pm.

Staff could not have been friendlier. Weather limited options for activities.

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and to make the stay positive. A couple staff speak a little English, so you probably want to have Google Translate at the ready. I think if the weather had not been stormy we would have enjoyed the pool and that the hotel was right on it's own beach. However, the weather left us with very limited options on the island.

The two restaurant tables were out in the main lobby.

Very good

The staff was amazing from minute one till the end. The hotel took care of both our transfers with a very good and careful driver giving us a nice ride to see the views, insteady of taking the faster routes. That's, what we really appreciated. The hotel offers motorbikes for rent for a very good price and the scooters are looking and riding well.

The photos show a sandy beach. Sadly, that was quite the disappointment, when we arrived and found out, there's no sand at all and the beach is a lot of stones. We were not the only ones to be unhappy about this discrepancy. The pool however, was great and the staff around fun and helpful.

great location. Fabulous,large infinity pool lovely beach. good sized rooms with a superb view of the ocean. friendly helpful staff. The hotel is recently renovated.

Meal service at lunch and dinner was slow. The coffee machine in the bar area didn’t work so not possible to get any coffee.

Nice spot to drop off the map- is a little out of town

Staff were great, facilities were nice, room was comfortable. Scooter rental was super easy and cheap - easy way to get around. Only thing to note is they are 20min from the town centre by car/scooter so you need to consider that - scooter ride home solo, in the rain, along cliffs dropping to the ocean was spectacular in the daylight; somewhat terrifying in the dark (though there are street lamps). Not a deal breaker but something to consider.

Restaurant was ok but as others have mentioned not amazing for what you can get in town - fair enough given captive audience. The bar was good though.

Loved this place, the location, the staff were fabulous. Would definitely come back.

Location was superb for a quiet get away. Loved the private beach, which was just situated right beside the resort.

It was a shame to have a private beach that still had rubbish and litter about.
