Cabin was not clean! We found rat traps in the bathrooms… with a rat attached to one of them. We found chewed up toilet paper all around the bathroom. Dirty towels. Beds weren’t done. Air conditioning was not working. There was wet clothes left in the washer. I wanted a nice enjoyable vacation with the family but I kept getting complaints from the family. Definitely do not recommend.

The property was perfect for a gathering of 11 teens and adults plus a dog. 6 bedrooms and 5 baths made it easy with 6 women. Management was highly responsive on some things, delivering a mixer at 11pm, and slower to respond on others. A maintenance issue during our visit took down the ratings due to a pipe leak which shut off the water to a bathroom requiring work in a lower bathroom. It happens. Workers were very pleasant. I'd rent again.

No nice area for outdoor relaxing. Fireplace area small with overgrown weeds. Broken handle on oven. No gas grill. Old linen left on front porch from last guests. Worst of all, 3 people in our party came home with bedbug bites. Otherwise the place was clean and comfortable.

Nice but Lacking
Nice but Lacking
It was great to be able to get together with my family and enjoy the mountains' beauty. However, the cabin did leave certain things to be desired. The two main dissatisfactions were born of (1) our inability to cool the cabin and (2) the incompleteness of the amenities. After our first night, the cabin remained between 78 and 84 degrees throughout and the AC didn't even begin to help until the day before we checked out (i.e., three days after check-in). With over 10 guests, it was a sauna most of the trip. As for the amenities, though a washer-dryer combo and dishwasher are present, there is no provided soap for either. This is despite the fact that running the dishwasher is a requirement of check-out. Not the end of the world but, definitely, inconvenient. Other than that, there were little things broken/damaged here and there when we arrived, however, the provided contact was very responsive. All-in-all, it could've been better, but the experience as a whole was enjoyable.

Annual Christmas get together
Annual Christmas get together
My sons w wives and I get together at Christmas every year and we had the best time this year! The cabin was perfect! It was close enough to Helen to have fun but far enough away to get away from traffic and noise. There was enough room in the cabin for everyone to fun together playing cards and have a quiet space to relax.
