Brilliant location, only birds and an occasional distant train to hear and great countryside to explore
Nothing, but watch you head as you use the front door.

Stan and Mandy were wonderful, lovely people. The area was perfect for the dog beautiful nature bad phone signal, so we had to spend quality time as a family, which was great without phones getting the way.
The wooden hut wasn't as clean as we would have liked. We understand it isn't a hotel or B & B, so it's unfair to compare it to these places, and its definetly much much better than camping. It is what it is a wonderful, cute wooden hut in a lovely natural setting. Would of just liked a little cleaner.

Absolute delightful place to stay . Owners were very welcoming. Oust house was quirky. Countryside beautiful. I'd most certainly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for a fantastic time
The sofa beds were rather uncomfortable and if staying for longer then one night this could be a problem but the rest of the place certainly made up for this

Fantastic little house with lots of character. We stayed there as we had a wine tasting at a local wedding venue. We arrived late and the chances of finding a taxi seemed slim due to the remoteness of the location. However, the owner without being asked offered not only to drive us the few miles to the venue but also said he would pick us up later on the evening! Absolutely fantastic gesture. We can thoroughly recommend staying.
Nothing at all.

Cute and fun wooden frame miniature oast house. Great for people with young children or pets.

Property was unique which is why we chose it . lovely field outside for dog to roam and also central in Kent .
We spent first couple of hours cleaning . We accept that due to location spiders and cobwebs expected but not toast crumbs and grease and dirty cups and plates . Cooking is done by what I can explain as student double hob and single portable oven . I had to clean shower area of hair as blocked and wash cups and and plates we were going to use . No outdoor lighting and needed to walk across muddy field to property so if we would have wanted to stay out later , no lighting to front of property and no path . Approach to property was through what I could only described as a junk yard via a small gate . Its such a shame as place has so much to offer just needs love and attention .

I laughed as soon as I saw this wonderful, quirky cottage, and carried on smiling the whole time we were there. It helped that it was covered in Christmas lights, but I think it would look fantastic in any season. In the middle of a big field, which was perfect for the dog to run around in, it was lovely and quiet and, once the lights had gone out, gave us terrific views of the stars. Access is by walking across the field, so do arrive in boots, and the kitchen is pretty basic, so don't plan any massive dinners. The Volunteer in Ash was a nice friendly local pub, and Ash also has a decent-sized co-op, which was handy. We had a great time.
The cottage was generally quite warm and cosy, except for the tiled floor, which was always freezing: a few rugs would be a good idea! Meanwhile, take your fluffiest slippers.

Stan was absolutely lovely, great hosting. amazing Christmas lights. lovely area, enjoyed the stay.
there was so many spiders. I had to go around hoovering before bed (this was to be expected with it being in a field)

Stan is the man who built this amazing miniature oat house in a middle of a field, truly unique and magic experience for all the travelers! Stan is very welcoming and knows very well the area, giving local advice on what to explore nearby.
Very relaxing and peaceful stay in total connection with nature. Ideal city break, but with all the modern facilities including electricity, heating, small kitchen, bathroom, very hot water etc. as it’s a real tiny house (much more comfortable than “glamping”). The living room is rather spacious, it feels warm and it’s well decorated with fairy lights all over the place. Very comfortable bed with view on the fields from the little windows. It’s simply a fairy tale house! Day or moon light comes from oat style roof, very clever too! Barbecue and garden furniture to enjoy the surrounding field.
There are also plenty to do around: Sandwich, one of the best medieval village I have seen, is only 15 min drive, there is also the largest roman fortress Richborough, and plenty of nice sea side and countryside hikes all around.
Flood in the shower… not a big deal and not a reason to miss this incredible place!

Truly magical family break. The miniature oast house really is a gem. The whole family loved it. The huge field with swings, bikes and a slide were great for the children. We will definitely be back. The host is very helpful and friendly.
