About this villa rental

The luxurious, French-styled Carriage House is a 3-bedroom villa at the historic Church Point Manor (built in 1860). With a first-floor, King-bed room and two upstairs, queen-bed rooms, the Carriage House can comfortably host up to 6 guests. Every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, it’s own thermostat and central A/C and heating unit, and a fully-stocked coffee bar. The front door opens to an intimate and cozy foyer and dining area and continues into an expansive living room with a 50" TV and a wood burning fireplace. Three arched carriage doors open to the outside, allowing guests to enjoy an indoor-outdoor space from the foyer or living room.

Enjoy a match of tennis or pickle ball on our secluded tennis court, or play a round of bocce ball on our charming grounds (equipment included). Relax for the evening on the covered porch just 20 feet away from our 300-year-old, award-winning (yes, really!) willow oak tree.

This is a wonderful property. We rented the carraige house for 4 days as we were hosting a baby shower for daughter with the attached Manor House in the Wine Celler. The owners made the experience very easy as we were planning from across country. The carraige house was perfect for the family as had 3 master suites, with ample room to hang out in living area. The property was very clean and had a lovely boardwalk down to the water. All of our guest were very impressed with the venue. Could not have asked for a better situation and stay. Will definitely use again when back in the area.

This stay definitely exceeded our expectations. We had a total of 5 adults (all immediate family) and everyone was comfortable. The woodburning fireplace was wonderful on the chilly mornings. The host, Tyler was very quick and responsive for the couple of request we had. We will stay there again for sure.

The Carriage House and grounds were beautiful. One thing to be aware of is that the kitchen does not have a full size range and oven. It has a plug in range stored in one of the cabinets for use, a small refrigerator, a microwave, toaster oven, and full size sink.

Our stay at this charming cottage was wonderful. We all were able to relax in a quite setting, with wonderful accommodation and beautiful grounds to explore. The cottage is located in a safe and easy to travel through community with amenities close by. You will not be disappointed staying in this home away from home.

My husband and I were so impressed upon walking into the carriage house. Nice rooms and so clean and welcoming. We had a question for Tyler and Kate and they promptly responded. The property trail leading to the water was really pleasant. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

This home could not have been cleaner or better equipped. Truly appreciate the coffee and other supplies that were provided. We had no issues come up, but the owner had reached out upon our arrival to let us know he was available. Only wish we could’ve spent more time there! Would definitely book again when visiting the area

The cottage was immaculate and charming! It gives you such a welcoming and comfortable feeling right away. We enjoyed the nature trail and dock many times during our 3 days on the property. We look forward to returning when the weather is warmer but it was a delightful way to start the New Year!

6 family members stayed in 3 bedroom, 3 bath carriage house. Easy and smooth check-in and check-out. 3 brothers and their wives enjoyed having the sepArate bedrooms and bathrooms. Living areas accommodated the 6 of us easily. The place was close to restaurants and shopping.

Tyler and Kate were the perfect hosts. The Carriage house is well appointed, exceptionally clean, and everything that the VBRO description says. We were 5-10 minutes for all the wedding festivities which made the stay even more perfect. We certainly hope to be back! Vicki and David

This beautiful little carriage house was just perfect for our visit to see nearby family. We loved having a bathroom and a thermostat in every bedroom. The house mangers were friendly and responded quickly to every request. We will definitely be back!

The Carriage House is a delightful stay while in the Virginia Beach area. Wonderful accommodations with an Old World flare, quaint French Cottage. Close to shopping, restaurants, First Landing park, Ocean Front & Naval Bases. I recommend this VRBO to everyone. All will enjoy this serene setting & beautiful grounds.

The carriage house was awesome. Each bedroom had heat/air controls, each bedroom had a bathroom, the beds were great, the furnishings were clean, new and the house was spotless. There was a small kitchenette. The furnishings were beautiful and very comfortable. The surroundings were very serene and nice. Don't miss the free tours of the historic Adam Thorougood house

We had a great long weekend stay. Four adults for three nights, plus my adult daughter stayed one night. Plenty of room for everyone. We loved the living room and dining area, plus the galley kitchen was very functional. The grounds are also beautiful. Thank you Tyler for your prompt attention to our numerous questions. This historic property is lovely, and we enjoyed the nature trail. Amenities are consistent with a historic building, but very comfortable and inviting. It’s located conveniently to restaurants and everything in Virginia Beach.

Property was exactly as described. Owner was near property and handled one minor problem with speed and courtesy. Everything was super clean with all beds being very comfortable. Pre check in communication was great and check in was flawless. Quiet neighborhood with much history to explore. Convenient to beach , airport. Would definitely rent here again.

Super clean, well-appointed carriage home. The property is stunning. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and thermostat which is next level. Close to attractions and the beach (short 20 minute drive). The hosts are very responsive. The cost of the home is very reasonably priced given the gorgeousness. I will definitely stay here again.

The property and house was amazing and just what my family of 5 needed. We were in town for a funeral and would have had to get 3 hotel rooms if we had not come across this property. Each bedroom having its own bathroom gave us all the privacy we needed, while allowing us all to stay together for the cost of just one hotel room. You can’t beat that! This place will remain on my list of places to stay when in the area.

This property was a great place to end our vacation along the east coast. One thing that would make this property better would be access to a washer and dryer. Would have been nice to wash our towels during our stay. Overall this was one of the best locations my family and I have stayed.

Lovely accommodations in a carriage house behind Church Point Manor. Coffee maker in every room and individual thermostats made this extra comfortable for our crew as we all enjoy different nighttime temps. Tiny kitchen with microwave, toaster convection oven and mini fridge was fine for us as we were visiting friends who hosted us or we dined out. Serene walk on nature trail leading to a dock with beautiful views. Our hosts were an adorable engaged couple who ensured a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

My family so enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. The decor was lovely and the house worked well for our family of 5. All 3 bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms. Large family room. My kids, ages 12 and 14 enjoyed pickle ball, the swing, and boardwalk on the property. The home is situated in a lovely neighborhood.

Very calm quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Carriage house clean with beautiful color coordination. Proximity to groceries, restaurants and parks very convenient. Enjoyable.
