Minutes from Elephant Butte Lake. 3 bedroom home with newly renovated kitchen. Home sleeps 6 comfortably, 9 creatively. Large comfy sectional, large living room with wood burning stove. Large front porch for enjoying morning coffee or evenings by the fire pit. There is nothing like coming off the lake and being able to take a shower, grill, watch a movie or play games with family and friends. Plenty of space to park your lake toys as well as RV cleanout on site.

The host was very timely in responding. When we arrived, the house was very clean, well taken care of and had plenty of space. We will definitely be back during the summer to spend tome at the lake. Janet was very communicative and the photos on-line did not do the property justice. Very clean, very nice little home. The neighborhood was close to everything that we needed and was quiet. We were only in town for a short period and everything about this property was perfect from the size, the price, the location and the ease of check-in and check out. If for some reason you find yourself in Elephant Butte or Truth or Consequences, this is a wonderful option for lodging. Thank you Janet!

Clean & comfortable house. Great living room and very nice mattresses. Nice to be able to park my motorcycle out of sight from the street, and behind a locked gate. The large fenced in yard is awesome for the dog. Short drive to many restuarants & hot springs.

We enjoyed our time staying in this home while visiting family. Very easy check in/out process. Janet was a great host and super quick to respond. We arrived a little early after driving from Texas and she allowed us an early check in. The home was decorated beautifully and clean. Very comfy beds! We will book again!

The property looked like the perfect rental for Thanksgiving. Followed instructions on stove only to find that the temperature control for the oven was not working properly and that the timer and convection toggle switch were malfunctioning as well. At least one burner would not ignite and the lower oven rack kept tilting and pushing the contents towards the door. When trying to turn down the oven temperature the knob simply fell into my hand. Shower in the master bath was so clogged with calcium deposits that only a thin stream of water came out. Finally figured out that the remote for the TV only worked when aimed at the ceiling.
Property looks great in photos but needs work to bring it up to the standards expected from Vrbo.

What a great place! Extremely clean and roomy house! Very secure with fence around entire property. Inside was very nicely decorated and stocked with all amenities. We also enjoyed the front patio area as dogs could run around with no worries.

Beautiful house above our expectations
Everything was easy from the beginning of our stay, until the end. The entire house was decorated to look like a lake house. The rooms were all comfortable. The house was super clean. Location was close to everything. The only thing I would suggest is that in the master bathroom need to put a shelf or shelves about the toilet for the guests to put their things. Had a great time

Excellent Memorial Lake Trip
We really enjoyed this property! Kitchen was fabulous and fully stocked for cooking dinner after a long day on the water. Loved that property was fenced in allowing the kids to run around outside and play ball and corn hole! Very cute decor! They had everything needed! Sofa super comfortable! Everyone piled on the sofa to watch Mama Mia together!! Hosts were very nice and addressed issues immediately! Will Definitely return! Everyone loved this darling vacation home!

Nice inside... yard is rough and fence broken
We booked this property because we wanted the fenced in yard for our dogs to be able to run around... since we were on a long road trip. We were bummed when we arrived and found that part of the fence was knocked down on one side and there were big holes under other parts of the fence. Also, it is rocks and dirt and found pieces of broken glass and some trash around. The inside is really nice and well done and comfortable. Defintiely let them know if you ahve any allergies or sensitivities to strong perfume/fragrant cleaning products or those air fresheners- they had 4 of the plugged in frebreeze things and it was VERY strong and it took a good amount of time to air out. For check in... if you arrive when it is dark, make sure you know what to do and have a flashlight.

We all had a great time in Elephant Butte and totally enjoyed our stay. The house was better than we expected. We had 2 adults and 4 children and plenty of room. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable, everything we needed was available. Kids enjoyed making smores over the fire pit in the evening.

This was our first try using VRBO. We were extremely happy with our stay. This was a lovely home, very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be going back to this property and visiting elephant butte again. The kids played football in the backyard. It was a short walk to the lake to fish. This was everything our family needed! I highly recommend this property!!!

Girls Weekend Away
We had a very comfortable stay at this property. Four adults had enough room for everyone to have their own space. If you check in after dark, make sure you have a flashlight (or phone light) in your hand. The oven is iffy, but there was a crockpot and the stove worked great, so we did fine. We couldn't find a broom, so we couldn't sweep up the sand we brought in from the Butte. Would stay here again.
