About this house rental

Our home is a 1900’s historic charmer with updates for everyone (yep, air conditioning, high speed-wifi & big tv ;). Play games in our large backyard or finished basement, and is walking distance to the beach or restaurants - staying here is #morethanvacation.

Guests have exclusive access to enjoy the house (on one level), partial basement, back deck, and backyard area. *Note: The entire house has a separate one-bedroom apartment with a separate entrance & a deck available for booking. Reach out to me if you are interested in both areas.

Situated in a cute, historic neighborhood in downtown Manistee that’s easy and safe to walk with well-lit sidewalks, everyone around is so kind you'll think you are in the deep south. You are blocks away from 5th street beach, downtown Manistee and the canal for big-ship and drawbridge viewing :)

The house had plenty of space for our group and we enjoyed grilling in the backyard. It was close to town and we were a few mins away from the beach and stores. I was surprised that one of the rooms was separated by a curtain instead of a door. We were just staying for one night so it worked out okay, I would want to have known that for a longer visit. The hosts had great communication during our stay

Had a wonderful week with my husband and some family members at this great location, a 10 minute walk to downtown Manistee. We loved the activities in town and the great hikes nearby. Would definitely recommend this stay!

I rented this property for three queen beds not knowing the one was a blow-up and if used couldn't use the bedroom door so i sleep on bottom bunk and my wife slept in livingroom if known would have not rented other than that great place to stay

This was a nice place to stay, clean great communication with our hostess and she was very thoughtful with leaving a quick meal just in case we arrived late. (This absolutely put a smile on our faces). We all agreed we would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our weekend in Manistee at this property. There was plenty of room for all of us, close access to downtown, golf, and the beach. We really enjoyed the large living to hang out, as well as the outdoor area. Overall, we had a great experience here!

The first floor of this house was big, clean, and had VERY comfy beds. They left us coffee, creamers, sugar, and pasta with sauce, in case we wanted those....very kind and thoughtful. This was a VERY easy place to come and relax, I hope to return with all my 4 adult kids in the fall and use the back porch and fire pit. A + rental, thank you. PS we walked to town every day and explored the pubs, cute shops, and restaurants with tasty food. YUM

This property was perfect for a boys trip. We were all able to have a place to sleep and be comfortable. The location was perfect for all we wanted to do in a weekend, including Golfing, the casino, and being in nature. The communication was perfect with the host and made us feel truly welcomed. They also left us with pasta which we all appreciated so much!

We are local but had a bunch of family staying over so we decided to stay for a few days. Nice neighborhood in town. Well stocked bottom floor of duplex. Awesome responsiveness and help from property owner at all times. Would definitely stay again and check out future properties by owner.

We are already talking about going back. We had such a great time and the house was perfect for our needs. Our little ones enjoyed the back yard and the game room down in the basement. We highly recommend taking the historical trolley ride through town. Everyone from our toddlers to grandparents really had a great time.

My father brothers and I booked to stay to go on a fishing charter. The place was clean and had all the needed amenities. Only negative comment I have is it’s listed as a 3 bedroom with 4 queen size beds and a bunk. The fourth queen bed is an air mattress. Still workable with the booking we had but it wasn’t what we were expecting. Outside of that everything was great.

We had a pleasant stay in Manistee visiting our 90 year old Aunt and her son. Was a mini-family reunion. The place became our central meeting place when our Aunt became suddenly ill and could not host in the evenings. We loved the fire pit and ability to grill. Fireworks were the best and appreciated the washer and dryer after days at the beach and exploring the surrounding areas. Thank you for hosting us.

This VRBO was close to town and the beach but was in a quiet, older neighborhood. My hubby, kids (ages 8 and 9), and I all enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfy (kids loved the bunk bed), there was plenty of hot water for all four of us, and there was a nice shower. The home was clean and we enjoyed having the space to spread out. Felicia was super sweet and prompt to respond to questions and her check-in directions were perfect. We did not utilize the backyard nor did we cook in the kitchen, but everything there seemed to be in good order! If we ever have the opportunity to be in the Manistee area again, we will return to this home!!

This is the second year in a row we stayed at this location and enjoyed ourselves even more this year. The weather was great and the owner added a gas grill and fire pit. Very nice addition. I would like a call from the owner to thank personally if possible.

Plenty of space and nice and clean! Has everything you would want or need...the owners have even stocked things for the ones that might visit unprepared (me). They had pasta and sauce in the cabinet...belly saver! Also, be sure to check out the cool fan in the main living area. It appears to have been steamed and hand forged. Overall 5 star stay!

Just what we needed!

Just what we needed!

I booked this property for a bachelorette weekend. Everything in the house was exactly how it was listed in the posting. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of room for all of us to gather. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed being so close to the beach! We planned to stop at a few wineries and Felicia had some great suggestions. Our favorite was Iron Fish Distillery just 30 minutes or so from the place! Felicia was also very responsive when I reached out to her, and was wonderful to work with!

We definitely recommend it

If you are looking for a cozy place in a quaint established neighborhood this is it. It was just right for my wife and I and our two grown sons for a family vacation. The kitchen was well equipped and even stocked with some basics. All of the appliances were in good working order. The whole place was well maintained and very, very clean. A very special thank you to the cleaning staff who found a ring and Rx eyeglasses that we inadvertently left behind. They are not only very good at their work but very honest and decent as the items were immediately shipped to us at no expense. Felicia is extremely friendly and pleasant and very helpful. In fact, everyone we met there was very nice. The location was close enough to everything but yet in a peaceful and quiet small town setting. We definitely recommend it. Thanks Felicia and thanks to the property manager and cleaning staff! By the way, if you are there in the summer season, check out the neighbor’s beautiful flower garden!
