Quiet location, but easily able to explore this fantastic part of our country. Perfect relaxation place. Log burner & quaint cottage = happy holiday. Host Molly was brilliant with contact.
Was cold to start with as hadn’t had someone stay for few weeks as is off season. Soon as log burner was lit and heaters on it was cosy. Still a great place.

I liked how close the property was to the local beaches and I also like the garden
The neighbours parked their cars either side of the drive, so when our daughter came to stay she had to park her car up the hill, which wasn't an issue to us but the locals took offence to this. On one occasion the person who lives behind the telephone box confronted us. We told him it was parked on a public road with no signage but he verbally abused us.

We had a brilliant time at Mapa Cottage. It is the perfect location for a holiday in Cornwall. Close to the most beautiful beaches, very good local pub ( Victory Inn). There is a local shop in close walking distance ( two minutes) selling everything you need and not expensive.
The cottage is beautiful and very clean. Plenty of space for four people. In our case two adults, two teenagers and a dog. Our dog was very happy in the garden, where you can spend plenty of time relaxing.
The cottage has everything you need. We would be very happy to spend our next holiday there.

We felt comfortable. Only prob was no Tv channels and no Wi-Fi. Also no communication with anyone in charge. We wanted to stay a couple more days but couldn’t communicate with anyone. I don’t know what would have happened if there was an emergency! Apart from that excellent.

The cottage was lovely and quaint and had all the facilities necessary for a family stay, including a very nice outdoor area. Made a good little base from which to explore Cornwall.
There were a lot of cobwebs

Nice cottage, nice location
The TV didnt work apart from 1 channel, BBC I player but that was really slow and temperamental. That was frustrating because we wanted to relax in front of a film and it was hard work getting iplayer to play one
Also there was no kindle and only one firestarter so we couldnt get the log burner to work either

unable to access WI FI.
Freeview on TV would be good.
Please inform guests that the bathroom is downstairs.
Simple instructions for oven would be useful.

cookies and a carton of milk was left which was a nice touch, very good location as shop was 30 second walk and all beaches were within 10 miles, mattress and pillows were really comfy, not wanting to get up in the morning lol....good location with almost everything you could need in the cottage
no free view channels, might be worth getting a cheap box, i wasn't bothered but another member who travelled would have liked, also the roofs are a little small as is a doorway, which you expect in cottages as i live in one so i did brain myself 3 times on the door and ceiling, but once i remembered i only did it once more lol......the kitchen tops were a little greasy but again i don't know how often the place is used, and all kitchen appliances were there and massive amount of plates and cups etc

Everything about this property was perfect , the location being so closed to so many beaches and amazing coastal walks. The garden was private and really well looked after , the house was clean and comforting with lots of quirky characteristics! The best place I have visited in a long time ! And the owners were super helpful and nice (letting us use there surfboards)

A lovely old cottage, but poor value for money.
No dishwasher
Garden poorly maintained
Bunk bed poor - squeaked , poor mattress

Cute little cottage and garden in quiet village not too far away from attractions in Cornwall. Bed was clean and comfy.
Although our issues weren’t resolved the host was very responsive and friendly in replying
Facilities stated there was a TV… there were 2 (one in living room and one in bedroom) neither of them worked.
Rest of the cottage needed some TLC and wasn’t very well thought out for a holiday home. No oven trays to put food in the oven, shelves were messy with pointless stuff on them , eg paint tub, extension cable and hoover attachment ??? Shower had very little power and was hard to control the temperature. Decor was tatty and paint all over the skirting, plug sockets, dirty carpet when you walked in.
We ended up leaving a day early to get a proper wash and some home comforts.
Cottage would be amazing if it had a bit of money spent on it and a deep clean to brighten it up.

Such a cute little cottage, in a perfect location (5-10 min drive from St Agnes and beaches). Will definitely be back again!
