Peaceful, private and had everything you needed to cook and relax. The books and games were great to dip into and made the annexe feel homely.
Stunning view and great for watching the weather, trees swoosh, birds etc..
The hosts were incredibly helpful but respected our privacy too.
We loved the area - Kray Golf, Bathhurst Lido and walking were all good fun and excellent value for money.
The roads are narrow but lovely for pootling around slowly - we were glad we brought our smaller car.

Absolutely beautiful inside and out. The annexe was equipped with everything we could possibly need and was set in the most amazing surroundings.
Could have done with some instructions on how to work the oven/hob, dish washer and heating. Purely as it was completely different to what we are used to.

We loved the location of this property and its incredible view. The inside was super clean and beautifully furnished. Everything we needed for our stay was catered for. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our things. The picturesque village of
St Briavels is just a 15 minute walk away.
Sitting on the decking looking at the view was the highlight of our visit.
There was nothing to dislike.

Location, view and the facilities.

Beautiful and peaceful view over the valley. Nice accessible touches, like grabrails and parking / accommodation / deck all on one level. Nice touches, like USB sockets all around. Solar panels / EV charging / air source heat pump show sustainable credentials.
A washer / dryer could be useful for longer stays.

We loved the location and the property. It had amazing views, breath taking in actual fact. It also felt like going into a lovely quiet space with the forest and birds singing, it was like heaven. Quite central too to surrounding towns and touristy places to visit. The property was very very clean, beds were comfortable and you could cook what ever you desired as had all a kitchen needed. Lovely deck with outside furniture to relax and watch the sunset set after a long day out. What else could you possibly want!!!!
I loved everything. My only suggestion would be bigger towels. Also my friend and I did not have mobile signal even though we had different providers and the WiFi was bit on and off.

Took awhile to find the key box.

The view from the property was beautiful and we were lucky to spot deer down in the valley. Julian and Sandra have thought of all the little touches to make the stay a memorable one.
There wasn't anything not to like

The location was very good, well placed to explore the Wye Valley and the surrounding areas. loved the peace and quiet.
We really enjoyed our stay, a few more bowls would be useful.
4.7
Comfortable, contemporary, well appointed accommodation. The hosts have catered for every need.
Once we got used to the local country lanes we felt comfortably at home.
We chose dates that coincided with very wet weather!!

Wonderful views and quiet

The location was stunning and the view from the balcony was amazing. The closeness to tourist attractions made it a good base to stay. The kitchen was well stocked including little extras like tea/coffee, biscuits and the hosts left us a lovely welcome gift. The place was clean and tidy and set it beautifully on our arrival.
Only a little suggestion, we stayed during the heatwave and liked to sit on the balcony, a sunshade would have been nice to sit under.

Lovely annexe, great views, really enjoyed our short break
Access lanes to property very steep.

There is a beautiful view from the balcony. Clean and cosy accommodation with everything you need, great facilities. Shower was lovely. I stayed with a friend so there was more than enough room for us, brilliant place for a family to stay. Very peaceful spot slept really well. Saint Briavels village is very close by, main supermarkets are a short drive away. Great hosts really helpful and welcoming, would definitely stay again.
We wanted to eat breakfast out on our last day but couldn't find any local places that did a breakfast. We stayed at the beginning of March so there was quite a few tourist places/activities still closed.
4.7
Great location - both for the fantastic view and for getting to different attractions in the local area. Property was very nicely equipped, ideal for a family. Provision of teabags, coffee and dishwasher tablets (not just the token one or two of each) was a nice touch and different from many places we've stayed.
4.7
Beautiful location. Very clean property with all the amenities you need. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends.
