Amazing South Topsail retreat! Check us out! The top floor, 4br/2ba has HUGE decks! We're less than 500' to the access and 1/4 mile from the S. Topsail Boardwalk. Brightly-painted, pastel walls; comfy furniture; BLAZING fast Wi-fi; Roku smart TV's! You couldn't ask for a more perfect space for your vacation.

The Space:
Walk into a grand living room with comfy couches and lounge chairs & a 55" Roku smart TV. The well-stocked kitchen is right around the corner with a dining table that seats 8. Want to eat outside? There's a big back deck plus bigger backyard with grill and picnic table.
Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and 32" Roku TV, it shares a full bathroom with bedroom 2 which also sleeps 2 in a queen bed with its own TV.
On the other side of the house, bedroom 3 has a queen bed, its own tv, and the washer/dryer is located in the bedroom.
Bedroom 4 is a great bunk room for the kids and sleeps 4.

Access is easy-breezy - NO KEYS TO LOSE! You will have your own unique access code good for the duration of your stay. No worries about going extra places to get keys or having to make beds on your own. Simply show up for your vacation, instant access, beds made - time to RELAX!

The Neighborhood:
South Topsail is an amazing, laid-back community that prides itself on it's beautiful beaches and family friendly atmosphere. There's tons to do on those rainy days because you won't want to leave the beach on the sunny ones! We're a hop, skip and a jump from the downtown/boardwalk area which has a part, shopping, restaurants and ice cream. We're also very close to the Jolly Roger pier and the missile museum. Surf City is a short drive away. Beautiful Wilmington is a scant 40 miles to the south with plenty of things to do like Museums, Battleship North Carolina, Fort Fisher Aquarium & Restaurants! Jacksonville is 20 miles to the north. We're close to LeJeune's south gate.

Need more space? We have 2 identical downstairs units that are 2br/1ba and each sleeps 5.

This property was great for us. It is very basic, but had everything we needed. Would be good for families with small children as it is very open and all on one level. Easy and close beach access was great!

It was ok. The keypad lock never did work— I got a hold of the property owner and communication was poor to fair getting that looked at, and it never was fixed. We had to use a lock box with a rusty mechanism to get a key to get in and out each time. The oven doesn’t work, we discovered. The TV volume ramps up startlingly at each commercial break for some reason. There’s a broken towel rod in the bathroom and the main bedroom door is difficult to operate. But! We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the beach, and it was nice and clean with very easy parking.

This property has fabulous potential. Close to the beach and pretty. However, lots of things didn't work (oven, toaster, toaster oven, door lock). The owner started to communicate, but never followed through. We only had 2 rolls of to for 5 women for 5 days, and zero paper towels. There were also only 4 bath towels & wash rags for 5 guests. Plenty of potential, but definitely needs simple work.

We had no workable oven, which was necessary for the groceries we had, however, we FINALLY got a toaster oven. The dishes were not clean in the drawers, so please wash before use. 1:30 checking in upstairs guests were loud, causing downstairs neighbor to have a cursing fit, and myself to ask both sets of guests to quiet to settle so we could sleep.

Location, location, location!!!!! Beach access in less than 5 minutes…literally across the street. Very cute decor and a great space for a small family. (4 or less) WiFi is really scetchy making it very hard to watch TV or do anything online…even just to check in. Made for a nice excuse for a vacation!!! lol Walls are paper thin and we had loud teen spring breakers for one night until 2am. They left the next day and it was so nice the rest of the week with no neighbors.

We all had a good time the check out process was confusing because we didn’t know exactly what we had to do with sheets or towels but other then that it was fun!

It seemed like no one had been there in a while, musty smell- it did dispel after about 24 hours but it was off putting. The kitchen lacked some basic tools: no corkscrew, can opener. No hair dryer. Also the freezer smelled like fish. Overall it was fine but could be improved with a little effort.

This place was really nice and clean. My only complaint would be that the people up stairs running or walking across the floor was really loud and annoying, especially when they were up at 6 am. Also there were a few water bugs in the kitchen at night.

Great little two bedroom place. Very clean and owner/property manager had fast response times to my questions. Very short walk to beach access and only a 1/4 mile walk to the "hub" of that area. The size of the place was perfect for myself and my two adult daughters. Bonus was that everything you would need came with your stay. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to add a dish drain for after you wash your dishes. Will definitely book this place again. 10/10.

Had a great time staying here, kitchen has all the appliances we needed, parking was abundant, and it’s very centralized! The beach and topsail are walkable and surf city is just a ten minute drive. Super convenient.

The grill in the back was pretty rusted but other than that it was an amazing stay enjoyed plenty of beach time fishing and rest. A nicely located quiet spot. Of haha ans apparently there was no can opener we could fine lol smalle thing that helped use get out and explore a few shops.

This was our first trip to Topsail and I'm sure we'll be back. We had a great stay. The unit was well appointed and in a great location, super close to the beach. Listing is accurate and the hosts were great with communications pre- and during the stay.

We were in town for a few days for meetings. This property is not fancy, but is clean, cute, and has everything you need. It has easy access to the beach as well.

We really enjoyed this place! It wasn’t on the beach but it was such a short walk to public access. The ONLY thing about this place that i didn’t really like was the parking. These houses are apartments and they have I think 3 different apartments but there’s really only room for 3 cars so no other cars could park, but when we were there no one else was staying in the apartments so idk. But overall i really enjoyed this place and the costumer service was so good. I don’t remember the lady’s name i talked too but she was super super sweet. 100% recommend this place!

Apt. was well stocked! Could use a can opener borrowed one from a friend who lives down the street. Great tv channels, super clean!! Would rent this long term if it wver came available for that!!

The place was clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay. There is quiet time from 10 pm to 8 am. The guests in the other two units did not comply. Noisy. Very loud. Other than that. Great place.

Not all necessities were there. Smelled of smokers smoke. Had 3 cockroaches. Bath tub drain was clogged day 1. Had to use wire and unclog and then buy stuff to help clean it out....

We stayed for several nights. Our first impression made us nervous. The outside porch area and yard were very unkept. The inside was mostly clean. I found a wet rug in the washer and the floors weren’t swept. If you sleep light, think twice before booking. You hear EVERY step and movement from upstairs. It IS located very close to the beach and was an easy access for our family.

The location to the beach was amazing. If you’ve never been to the island before- bring everything you’ll need. Or plan to drive 15+ min to most food places. No chains. Only local. That part was awesome. There’s 1 Publix and 1 WalMart Market over the bridge. Nearby, options were sparse. The unit was supposed to have bath towels, hand towels, etc- there were NONE. 1 roll of TP, 1/2 papertowel roll, 1 trash bag. Emailed the agent- was told they’d be out first thing in the morning. 3 days later, we still never heard or saw anyone. Kitchen in upstairs unit is above the bedrooms, very light floors mean herds of elephants stomping above while kids tried to sleep. Salt Marsh Market in town was our favorite outing for local drinks to sit on the porch with.

Simple and functional

We had a great time visiting Topsail Island and staying in this little house. It's a short walk to "downtown" Topsail Beach (the small town) not to be mistaken for Surf City which is up north and has more businesses. The walk to the beach is also very convenient. We loved the memory foam mattress in the main bedroom! With the blackout curtains pulled shut we slept like babies! The Roku TV was also a hit, never a problem finding something to unwind with at night. Note for visitors: depending on your water snootiness level (our's is pretty snooty) you may want to bring your drinking water in. When we ran out of bottled water we'd boil some and let it set overnight which seemed to help.

The property is fine, but I can’t imagine staying at Topsail during the summer. There’s very little beach parking for visitors coming for a day at the beach. At North Topsail, you have to pay to park. There’s free beach parking on Oahu, Hawaii.
