Welcoming hosts, beautiful accommodation and setting. Perfect place to relax.

The thoughtful approach that Marieka and David have taken to making your stay at the property relaxing and comfortable, from the beautiful and well equipped rooms to the delicious breakfasts prepared at the property, everything was perfect.

A éviter en attendant que la végétation repousse

La maison est très bien les petits déjeuners aussi

Les incendies de cet été on ravagé l’environnement et une partie du village c’est lugubre Nos hôtes ne nous ont pas prévenus de cette catastrophe dont il ne sont pas responsables mais c’est très désagréable

The best place we could imagine for our romantic honeymoon in a very intimate and secret location!

Literallyeverything 🌟The unique location and our cozy, extremely comfortable room, delicious breakfast and very kind hosts.

It’s a first time in life that I didn’t dislike anything, but if I have to say something, it’s probably the wasps that like to come over if they smell delicious breakfast.

מקום קסום ומפתיע למדי. שהינו שני לילות, עם טעם של עוד. סביב הכפר הישן וחלקו המשופץ והמשוחזר, התחוללה שריפה קשה, אך לפני כחודשיים. הטבע בשלב התאוששות וצמיחה מחודשת. התפאורה החרוכה מוסיפה והוסיפה לדרמטיות התפאורה שאופפת את הכפר. חדר מאובזר, נעים ומפנק. ארוחות בוקר נהדרות ונדיבות. השרות בחיוך ונעימות. במרחק עשרות מטרים, מספר טברנות המציעות אוכל איכותי ומגוון של מטבח מקומי, אפשרויות לישיבה על קפה, אלכוהול ועוגות והמרחק למפרצי הים קצר.

calme quiétude environnement

l'appartement très confortable un peu comme à la maison , le cadre , l'accueil chaleureux d'Adam et Marieke , le petit déjeuner super , tavernes à proximité , le calme . Vraiment super ++++

tout est très bien point de vue Hébergement , mais l'accès au village n'est pas de tout repos je dirai même dangereux

In the shadow of Pantokrator with great food, wine, super-fast WiFi, a mountain-bike and Netflix.

Locations don't come much better, and neither do breakfasts. Being British, notoriously too lazy and inconsiderate to ever be arsed to learn another language, how wonderful to travel 1,500 miles and both your hosts have done all the hard work for you. Marieke, being Dutch, obviously spoke impeccable English. David, an Aussie, was inclined to struggle a bit through some of the longer sentences, but all the guests genuinely liked him and, for the better part, seemed to mostly understand him, even the two French couples.

The rear cassettes on the mountain bikes could have done with a couple of larger cogs for the hills. I don't know, maybe I just need bigger legs. And being 30 years younger certainly wouldn't do any harm. Also, wasn't so keen on the wasps, but I guess I am a visitor in their country and why should they have to share the Greek plum-jam with a short, bald Englishman. Even my wife would draw the line at that.

Magical and unique place

Very comfortable place with delicious breakfast and lovely owners. The Old Perithia is a magical and unique place. Old Venetian buildings ruins with climbers plants, butterflies, and bees. Feels like in a fairy tale. So calm and the mountain weather is so fragrant. The village center where situated all five tavernas look like a movie scene and the food is delicious as well.

I would love to return

This is a unique accommodation, built and run with respect to the place, history and atmosphere in this beautiful nature. It is very romantic as well as clean, comfortable and well equiped. The mornings and evenings are marvelous, owners nice and very helpful. Breakfast is delicious and really relaxing. It is up tu 30 minutes drive to beautiful beaches. Lokal tavernas are nice, we especially enjoyed Foros.

If you want to hike, it is better early morning as the place gets in summer rather hot.

Delightful place to rest and recharge whilst walking the Corfu Trail.

An idyllic location high in the hills, surrounded by natural beauty. The house has been restored to its original beauty and updated with all modern accessories. Welcoming host, spacious bedroom suite and delicious breakfast on the terrace surrounded by olive trees. Ideal stopping point while walking the Corfu Trail.

Nothing compares ❤️

It's an incredible area with all these very old ghost houses and major mountains surrounding the town. The "hotel" was very special, not "touristy" but more authentic and historically. Both hosts have been more than just friendly. Everything was perfectly splendid! :) Unfortunately I caught a cold during the rainy days in April, but worth it! The stay was lovely! It's a pity that I'm not allowed to share videos with you, unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the rooms...

Everything: from the location to the room, the breakfast, the friendliness and helpfulness of Marieke, as well as Jens and Kats. A unique stay in a one-of-a-kind place on Corfu Island. I have left a piece of my heart there.

Excellent choice for a quiet mountain stay,

very tranquil location. Rooms were spacious, furnished and clean. Marieke and David were wonderful hosts, very obliging and helpful with suggestions for visits etc. The property was very handy for the village square (50 metres away) with its 3 excellent tavernas.

Breakfasts were excellent, but would have appreciated a little more variety

Fabulous!

The location of this B&B is perfect for anyone doing the Corfu Trail (and for anyone visiting Old Perítheia in general). It is very comfortable and quiet, and the shower is fabulous! Breakfast in the garden was lovely, and the hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful.

Perfect hideaway for a authentic Greek experience.

Such a lovely hotel (b&b). Breakfast was wonderful & the owners were great. You can tell they love what they are doing.

Roads getting to the hotel were quite rugged & was difficult navigating in the dark.
