Health and Safety Hazard. DO NOT BOOK!

RED ALERT - DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMMODATION Nothing! It was a health and safety hazard! We couldn’t stay at this place due to the mould inside the house, dirty linen on beds, food left from previous people, lawn not mowed, stove top filthy, filthy and dirty. Smelt of dampness and full of mould. Nothing like the photos and description advertised. Contacted the owners who refused to help out in anyway nor would refund our money. DO NOT RECOMMEND this house to anyone.

Overall not a great experience.

Outdoor spa was great after it got heated.

The property requires serious maintenance. The power kept tripping, the provided door PIN didn't work, and the host was uncontactable for 45 minutes and we stood at the door waiting in cold. Due to power issues, the washing machine got stuck with washing cycle and there was water leakage in the laundry. There was no paper towel, tissue boxes and we were provided one toilet roll. very low on basic amenities and a very small property. the only good thing about the property was spa and decent heating in rooms. Overall not a great experience. 50% refund would be nice thanks , it was a rip off. property is overrated.

The View is so astonishing. It has jacuzzi. Good place for family or group vacation. Just a short walk to a playground .

Lovely home with everything you need for either a short or long stay in Gough's Bay.

Very comfortable home with lovely warm fireplace. Wonderful views right opposite the lake, across from great walking tracks and close to the general store. Beds are very comfortable, house well stocked and owner responded very quickly to all questions. Great place to stay with family or friends, highly recommend.

AMAZING!!

Was absolutely lovely, the hot tub goes to 40°C plus if you let it heat to that, which is perfect for the cold seasons and the owner is fantastic at replying to messages. The fireplace is so nice and warm and there is a general store around the corner to purchase firewood and kindling.

a lot of things were not in working order. washing machine did not work umbrella over spa did not work mould in the bottom of the shower owner claimed we took bedding home when we did not. toilet and bathroom doors did not lock properly doors would not lock properly or lock you inside the bedroom leak from the bathroom door onto carpet There was no adequate pantry space

Very good

The hosts were easy to communicate with and assisted me with check over the phone when I needed to ask a question. They also allowed us to check in early and late checkout when requested. Spectacular views of lake Eildon from the lounge area, front deck and spa. An abundance of birdlife in the area, we were greeted by Kookaburras, King Parrots and Kangaroos. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, including some basic food staples and a delightful complimentary bottle of bubbles. Large BBQ on front deck, perfect for a breakfast cook up or dinner with a view. Wifi included which worked without any glitches. Beds were comfortable with high quality linen, more than enough bedding for all guests. Fire place heated the whole house and we didn’t need to use any of the heaters. Mansfield only a short drive away to get supplies.

Definitely a come back for lower rental rate.

The location of the house was perfect !! Spa was fabulous. After spending a hectic day at Mount Buller coming back and relax in the warm tub with a great view of the lake was heavenly. Kitchen facility , laundry, bedding and heating were good and sufficient. Fire places indoor and outdoor were a delight and cosy for the evening get together.

Needed more bathroom/toilet when it’s a group. shower was bit mouldy. There were few spider webs on the ceiling above the head in one bedroom which we cleaned ourselves as kids were troubled to sleep there. considering the shortage of bathroom/ toilet 750 per day was high.

slightly cramped with all the furniture and beds for 10. a little “decluttering” would make it much more spacious and amenable.
