We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a road trip across France / Spain. It was our favourite place! Our host was amazing! Friendly, welcoming and made us feel a part of her home. The home is stunning inside with beautiful artwork, painted and photographed by Mary herself. The pool was a perfect sanctuary after a hot day exploring Bedoin and climbing Mont Ventoux. This is a perfect stay if you’re cycling, parking nearby and secure storage. Everything was just perfect, thank you
Absolutley nothing!

nicw breakfast, great location
no concerns

It was the perfect location for cyclists who climb the Mont Ventoux as it’s right underneath (as shown on the picture you can see it as you look at the hotel). It’s also in front of a free larger car park (other free car parks around also) and some nice restaurants just outside of the house. Make sure you book dinner in advance as it’s so popular there that many restaurants are booked out after they open at 7pm. Some are also closed on some weekdays.
The property is beautiful and very clean and newly renovated.
Mary makes it very homey and decorated it nicely. She is a great hostess who speaks very good English also. Her breakfast is well balanced with a croissant, some bread (+ham and cheese), a yogurt and fruits and a boiled egg. Orange juice and a warm drink and even a self made delicious apricot jam!
I also liked the occasional cuddle with her French bulldog Mia who is extremely friendly and calm and cuddly. I never even heard her bark.
Avignon is also just a 30-40 minute drive away which is really beautiful and historic!
The only issue for me personally was the noise. I’m very sensitive and a light sleeper and the walls and doors of older houses are very thin so I could hear people in the room next door talk and come up the stairs or move things around or flush the toilet at night. So you will need ear plugs if you are like me.

Perfect place for my stay. I came to cycle Mont Ventoux, and couldn't have had a better base. It was very comfortable, and also accomoodating of bikes, with secure night storage. The location was right in the middle of town, at the base of the climb. The breakfast was good and could be taken at any time (left out if you needed an early start). And the hosts were extremely nice. Couldn't have been better!

Our stay was superb!
Our host met us on the evening of our arrival and showed us around the property. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the wooden shutters kept the room dark and quiet at night time. Even though the property is near to a minor road, we didn't find traffic noise intrusive at any point. We didn't need to use the aircon.
The bike store was convenient and secure.
The house itself has been sympathetically renovated and retains many of its original features - the whole building has a wonderful atmosphere. There are plenty of places to sit outside.
Breakfasts were excellent and taken with our host and the other guests. It wasn't a problem that we left early on our last day - breakfast was left for us in the fridge and we were able to help ourselves to bread, croissants and coffee.
La Maison Gerval is in an excellent location, being convenient for bars and restaurants - we had very good meals at Le Grillon and L'escapade. There is plenty of street parking near to the property.
Highlights of out short stay were: Mont Ventoux; La Gorge du Nesque; Dentelles de Montmirail; the hilltop village of Gordes and the beautiful autumn colours.
Nothing - our stay was perfect.

We felt at home is this beautifull and stylish tradionnal provencial house.
Exellent beding too!
The house is well located and wonderfully decorated, with a beautifull garden where olives and grapes grows.
There's a bike garage too!
We loved the substencial and delicious breakfast with the best homemade jam ever tasted!

Great location with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops very close by. The house is beautiful with lots of interesting artwork and a small pool to cool off after tackling the Ventoux. The owner Marie could not have been nicer or more helpful and it was a real pleasure to meet such an interesting and funny person- she really made our stay exceptional.
There was nothing I didn’t like about the property but the restaurants in the village can be very busy so you should try to make reservations as early as possible if you want a particular one.

location is perfect. in the centre of Bedoin.... a kinda cool, happening cycling village with bars, cafe's and shops that are actually open... yes.... open... ouvert.... not ferme.... amazing for France no? house is really nice, rustic, typically French. nice breakfast, small pool, nice garden, bike store. Security is on another level. Host speaks good English.
It's France. There's always a compromise in France isn't there. Parking was about 100 metres away so dragging your stuff, bikes etc from your car, across a relatively busy road (cyclists and mad drivers) through locked gate, garden, keycoded door, to your room is a faff. Overall though. not bad.

Marie is a great artist and a phantastic host.
She even washed our stinking bike clothes and booked a table in one of her favorite restaurants for us.
We sure will come back.
Highly recommendable!

The host is very enthusiastic, helpfull and intrested. She told us about weather conditions and nice places to eat. There is also a save place to store your bikes.
Nothing noteworthy

Great location in the center of Bedoin for anything you wish to do in the area. Next to the start of the famous climb. Super clean, airco, decent breakfast, garden to relax, closed bike storage with shower for cycling/hiking, leaving after check-out.
Toilet outside of the room which had no lock. Minor, but as it’s an older (though beautiful) building, it’s slightly noisy.

The property is beautiful and homely. Located at the top of the Main Street and dining options. I visited Bedoin for cycling and the area has numerous options other than the legendary Mt Ventoux. La Maison Gerval was a great retreat at the end of the day. The host was excellent.

We loved the style and the location of the apartment. The owner is an artist so the whole building is very unique and full of artworks. She is also very welcoming and friendly. You can have a rest in the hammocks in the garden after climbing the Mont Ventoux.
The toilet is separated from the ground floor room
