Great staff! They were very helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent from breakfast to lunch to dinner.
We stayed in the chapel and the bathroom exhaust wasn’t working but it wasn’t a deal breaker for us. The room was very cozy and the linens were SO comfortable. Also loved the bathroom towels and robes.

Unique and boutique. Clean, comfortable, convenient location, exception breakfasts and service.

The breakfast included was very good and all the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We arrived a few hours before checkin to drop our bags off which was no issue and we were offered breakfast while we where there at no additional cost.
Food and drinks in the accommodation were great and it was a 5 minute stroll from the centre of Tavira.
Rooms were clean and the housekeeping was exceptional. It has a lovely roof terrace with great views and they offer different activities on site e.g. yoga, wine tastings.
Whilst the pool was relatively small, some rooms come with their own private pool. There is a huge beach a 15 minute ferry trip away which is recommended.
Nothing.

Friendly and accommodating staff, great breakfast, pretty hotel and grounds. It’s right across the (busy) street from the bus station and very close to the main part of town.
The hotel and our room were cold! There was a heating unit in our room, but the light was very bright and facing the bed so it was difficult to sleep. The bed was very firm and the shower water was warm, nowhere near hot.

We hebben genoten van deze prachtige plek. Het ontbijt (in de zon) is werkelijk fantastisch. Aardige mensen.
Ik vind de zwarte kleur rond het zwembad niet zo aantrekkelijk.

Well located relative to historic area. Very comfortable room. Both the breakfast and “surprise” dinner were of exceptional quality. Enjoying an afternoon snack and drink on the rooftop (shaded) patio was a delight as the parking lot was briefly overrun by a herd of sheep and goats.
Directions to the parking lot were not clear. You drive into a dirt/gravel entrance down a hundred metres, up the hill and back to the hotel.

We loved the terrace and pool. Breakfast was fantastic and could have at anytime of day. It was only a five minute walk to all the amenities in the town.
Whilst the room looked great the facilities for hanging and storing clothes was very limited. Lived out of our open cases for the week. Also nowhere to put cosmetics and toiletries.

We liked everything. Very comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, nice pool, well chosen decor, exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful staff and a personal touch from the owners which really made a difference

Location super nice.
The structure is really very nice.
Procedures decided from the owner overpass the rights of the clients.
Breakfast scheme must be changed.
Not all staff was truly nice.
Owner not really open to listen feedback.

Beautiful property and breakfast.
Our rooms had ants. They bit me all night. I asked several times for it to be addressed. While they did try to clean it and change the sheets ants were still crawling all over the bed. I finally had to ask to be moved. They did move me. The manager however seemed more concerned about justifiying that they did try to fix it. I would have been happy with a simple apology and asking the next day if the new room was good but we were not asked. Nor at check out was there any comments and these problems. It tainted what might have been a good stay. For the cost of the hotel I would have expected a much better response.

The hotel was picturesque and perfectly situated. The staff were so accommodating and anticipated every need. Best hotel I ever stayed in.

Very clean and relaxing place inside, top quality furnishings throughout.
Breakfast wonderful, quality of ingredients, the best.
Staff were brilliant, attentive and with great recommendations for restaurants.
We stayed in a room with private pool and found the room small, with a desk inside and bed on mezzanine, making it a low ceiling and difficult up the narrow stairs. The bathroom sink was too small to use, (tap large/sink very small) with poor water pressure.
Breakfast was great, but staff perhaps a little too attentive sometimes - offering several times if we wanted more. (Could be worse and not offer at all though!)
Tables were quite close to each other and there were a few small children which distracted us from a relaxing breakfast.
We were also offered a welcome drink and then found it on our bill at the end of our stay which I thought was a bit cheeky for a hotel of this class.

We loved the decor and history of the building. The food was exceptional. The staff were very attentive.
The location wasn't the best. Opposite the bus station on a busy road junction and currently next to a building site.

Superb breakfast. Trendy deco. Nice old building
Room quirky but if it is the quoted 20m2 it’s layout means It tight and the ’bath’ is not usable as such. Bit noisy in room near road. Pool too shallow to swim.

Perhaps the music was often rather loud and unnecessary. A

The roof deck is divine. from the quintessential Portuguese design to the honor bar it was my favorite place to hang.
The romance of all the candles lit at night made me smile.

Overall - what's not to like. Wonderful staff, exquisite decor and amazing breakfasts.
Very small points - lighting was dim in some of the rooms and pillows could have been better quality. but these are minor points.

The room was very clean and beautiful. The employees are awsome and helpful. A free parking is just near the hotel. The city center is just a few minutes away walking. What about the breakfast? probably one of the best you will eat!
everything was fine

We were graciously upgraded to the main floor due to steep stairs and no elevator.
The hotel is very charming and has an outstanding management and staff.
They were warm, friendly and very professional.
The respect they showed towards each other and camaraderie made their service outstanding.
The dinner was amazing. Michelin * grade. Do not miss the opportunity to have a meal here.
Breakfast was really good along with the food and the snack menu.
Food presentation was excellent.
Felipe the manager is a gem.
The owner was also warm and welcoming.
This is our new home away from home.
