Bathroom was moldy

it was close to McDonald's and other stores. There is a hiking/biking trail within walking distance. It was somewhat quiet located across from a retirement home. There is a church nearby. There's a reserved parking spot. There are deer to look at in the evening. The room was adequate.
The room is a very small studio apartment. It was a little tight for two people.

Nice older style cottage with a central location for us. Everything you needed was available for 3 night stay.
Great email communication from owners and very easy checking & Checkout. Fire wood and fire pit nice touch.
Hiking trail in back added bonus
Futon in den little uncomfortable but okay. Coffee pot was 2 cup so we thought funny, since needed to make a few pots to allow 3 people to have coffee, but nice touch they did provide coffee.

The sheets were cotton and there were several blankets for each twin bed. There was a fire ring in back of the cottage.
The directions were terrible. The cottages were behind a huge Sunoco station and across the road from the NYS Troopers Headquarters. No mention of either of these landmarks. The directions referred to the name of the store inside the gas station whose name was on a small sign, barely visible from the highway. I needed a wash cloth, they gave me a dish cloth. No stove or burners. I learned that kitchenette does not mean small kitchen.

What I liked is, that it was quiet. no traffic noise or any noise at all, as there was no one there except one other couple, The bed was comfortable, and it was private It was also close to what we came for. Not far from some shopping areas, or the sights to see. or if one needed supplies. Small frig and microwave sure do come in handy.
The facility is greatly over priced. These cabins must have been built in the late 40's or the 50's and look it, inside and out. Not that this bothered us. I really don't care if the cabins were built in 1880 but the price should reflect it. Just plain exposed boards in the eating area, no cooking stove, light bulb hanging down from the ceiling. That didn't bother us either, But at the price of $115 dollars a night and a $30 dollar cleaning charge. Now that bothered us! It's just to much. Give me a break! Should be around $50 to $60 dollars a night, I would then be glad to stay and I would stay again. So save your money and stay somewhere else, unless you like to time travel!

It was close to Paul Smiths, very near a gas station, and very quiet at night. The campfire pit was beautiful even though I didn't use it because it had rained all night.
Mosquitoes were pretty heavy... lol

Excellent hosts - called to check in on us when we arrived, which was especially thoughtful because it was an unusually cold weekend and they wanted to be sure all was ok. It was - we were warm and comfortable in -20 degree conditions. The large cottage was perfect for our family's needs, with space to put all our snowy gear to dry, room to gather together and also space to get some peace and quiet. Very comfortable beds, and kitchen was very functional for cooking family meals. Great location, central to the ski areas that hosted our event. Really appreciated convenient access to groceries, as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute little cabin with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that we shared with our friends. This is a beautiful setting with fire pits and chairs. There was a hiking trail right behind the property and a convenience store around the corner. It was close to Lake Placid and we also went up to White Face Mountain. Ideal for a 2 night stay. We loved it.
The only real issue was that it was extremely hard to turn on the cold water in one of the bathrooms.

The cottage has everything. Mornings next to the forest were so nice. The checkin/out is so easy with digital locks etc.
The cottage had be cleaned with very powerfull agents and smelled like a chemical plant for a day. We'd rather endure a bit moldy than chemical smell.

No breakfast with it. It was close by to Whiteface, which was our destination. The bed was comfortable
Needed more 3 prong outlets in the kitchen , had unplug Microwave in order to use my Keurig . Upon turn the sofa so we could watch TV we found a pair of dirty 🧦! That being said we were not warned of additional cost for cleaning fees, that should be disclosed on your web site, people don’t like surprises!
