We visited as part of our family history research trip having never been to the area before, Huw, John and Pauline couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, we had a fantastic time, met a lot of interesting people, a successful trip.
There is nothing not to like about this place.

We felt welcome in every possible way!

Comfortable room and public areas. Owners and staff welcoming and friendly, particularly towards our dog. Special arrangements were made so we could have her with us whilst we ate. The bar is cozy with several interesting cocktails available. The food at dinner was really delicious. Breakfast was also very good. The information pack was one of the best we have seen.
If you have difficulty with stairs it would pay to tell the hotel. They are quite steep.

Was upgraded from a single room to a beautiful double room with en suite so full marks from me! Breakfast was freshly cooked with proper portions and well tasty! If you don't want to eat on the premises, there's a nice chippy about 200 yards down the road. Room price was fair for this time of year and good value all told.
The weather: it couldn't have been any worse but the accommodation more than compensated!

Location was excellent. Loved the breakfast. Bed very comfy, lovely bathroom.
Would have preferred a summer weight duvet.

very good Welsh breakfast, and good choice of cereals and fruit juice.

The room was very clean and inviting. The en suite bathroom was excellent.
We stayed in a nice sized double bedroom. It would have been more appealing if we didn't have to strain our eyes to watch what seems like either a 19 or 21 inch television!
Mother-in-law stayed in a single room with a 36 inch television. Seems a bit odd.

A little bit of something really special when not totally expected ! Comfortable beds and fantastic food.
There are always niggles but sometimes they are not relevant when the sum total is so good.
