Lovely! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

When we arrived it was very clean and tidy, rooms were lovely and spacious and accommodating. Nice area close to the station and beach.

Large rooms, well equipped kitchen, lovely garden close to the beach

Great location for visiting family also very close to the beach. Very large lounge with 3 sofas, 2 double bedrooms, great conservatory with seats and dining room table overlooking the beautiful garden. A great place to sit out in the sun.

The cottage is very spacious far bigger than we expected it had everything we needed and more. Sam was a great host check in was easy and the location was perfect for us we will certainly be booking again next year

Really nice cottage but not luxurious

Spacious, comfortable cottage in a good location for the beach. There was a lovely big sitting room with comfy sofas, good TV plus a nice conservatory for eating in . Upstairs the two bedrooms had lots of space. The beds were really comfortable with good quality bedding. The shower was great, easy to use with lots of hot water plus nice toiletries. The host was really helpful. We asked for an earlier check-in and they rang me at 12 to say the cottage was ready. They also left lots of basics such as tea, coffee, milk as well as dishwasher/ washing machine tablets. Check-in was very easy with the key left in a key safe outside. We had bikes with us and we're able to leave them in the conservatory over night which was a real help. The cottage is well placed for good bike rides to Bexhill and Hastings along the sea front and Pevensey along nice country lanes. The cottage is close to the beach and a hotel which has good bar food. It is also close to the station for trains to Eastbourne and Hastings. There is a small shop selling basics, milk bread etc close by.

The cottage has a really nice garden but it does need some tidying up. There were several brambles which need to be cut back and the outside cushions for the furniture were dirty and not usable. Inside the kitchen has very good appliances but there was no tea towel or oven gloves to handle hot food from the oven. There was a limited amount of glasses/ plates/ cutlery and these were not if good quality.

Great for golf and lovely accommodating host.

Fantastic stay in this very comfortable and clean cottage. Great location for a play and stay at Cooden Beach golf club. Loved sitting in the garden enjoying a drink after golf. So much nicer than being cooped up in a hotel room.

Trip for a huge keane fan

Lovely cosy cottage had everything we needed and was a good base for beach and local area. Host sam was helpful and friendly and responded to any messages quickly

Lovely accommodation in a good location. Clean and comfortable. Nice touches like milk, tea, coffee and toiletries provided. Also chocolates and mince pies were very welcome.

What a little gem of a place! Hands down I cannot fault my stay here or Sam for her on the button communication, from “is there any special requirements” to phoning me a couple of hours before check in to say the cottage was ready and making sure I was aware of the contactless access to the property. Great location, homely, spotless. I only booked last minute as I live in Bexhill and had my best friend and partner staying at mine, my boiler packed in last week and have a couple of leaks after the rain, so needed to find alternative accommodation. Being just down the road I will definitely stay again if I have friends coming and I will certainly recommend to anyone I know visiting Bexhill. Thank you for saving my bacon as I was about to cancel our evening and then I found you!

Home from home very comfortable stay.

The cottage had a lovely homely feel to it with nice decor and well laid out. Off road parking is available on the drive of the property and access is easy from the coded key box. the property is pet friendly and we could take our dog who was also very comfortable and loved swimming in the sea only a 3 minute walk away. We have family close by in the same road so it was very convenient and would not hesitate to book again. On this occasion there was just my wife and myself but there are 2 big bedrooms so the property will sleep 4 comfortably and 6 if you utilise the bed settee in the lounge.

A really lovely stay with home from home accommodation.

My mum and I liked everything about staying in this lovely cosy cottage and it definitely had that home from home feeling which also made our stay even more amazing. Bexhill holds lots of lovely memories for both of us and staying in such lovely accommodation made it a perfect mini holiday. The cottage facilities are brilliant from the very comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, cosy living room and wonderful conservatory and garden. Thank you so much Sam, you are the loveliest host and kindest person and Mum and I have made some lovely memories and we really enjoyed the Quality Street chocolates !!

excellent location for a cooden beach wedding. fairly comfortable for 5 adults

the grill pan was congealed in fat, so clearly the oven hadn’t been cleaned. no spare loo rolls. we ran out on our final morning.
