About this apartment rental
Let’s start by saying something obvious from the outset – this Copenhagen penthouse is one of the most impressive apartments we’ve ever seen! Louise's eye for design, detail and hosting is extraordinary – she can even arrange for a private chef if that’s something you’re in the mood for. The home's interior is pure Scandinavian chic, with plenty of natural materials, sculptural light fittings and elegant furniture throughout. Through to the bedrooms and the neutral decor and blackout curtains making switching off at the end of the day an effortless experience. And if you thought that was the end of it, wait until you see the huge rooftop terrace – at over 2,500 sqft, it has to be one of the largest in the city. Its sheer size combined with views of the water, old Copenhagen, and the many modern buildings in Islands Brygge ensure that we can’t think of anywhere we’d rather be. And while it's true you won't be staying right in the heart of the city, we'd suggest hiring a bike so you can do as Copenhageners do. Truly extraordinary and one-of-a-kind, this home needs to be experienced at least once in your life.
Home truths:
*There are parking spots for three cars in the underground parking garage, available for an extra fee
*Islands Brygge isn’t Copenhagen’s most central neighbourhood – you’re a short ride from Nyhavn and the Opera on the harbour bus (the nearest stop is seven minutes away)
*We'd suggest hiring a bike – there are plenty of options, though shared Donkey bikes are among the most convenient
*It’s split across two levels, so you'll have some stairs to climb
*Host meet-and-greet on arrival
*Quiet hours are enforced after 10pm
*The roof terrace has dining space for twenty people, with seating for up to eighteen guests around the table inside
