Lovely well situated hotel with brilliant access to the ski area and restaurants. Very friendly and attentive staff

Good self service breakfast, which is essential when skiing - you need the carbs. Superior room was newly decorated, clean and spacious. Staff were friendly even if not always on the ball. The hotel is well located being 50m from one of the lifts and 100m from another.
The lounge restaurant was nice enough, but had just one small sofa for actually lounging on, otherwise you had to sit at a dining table. So not much of an atmosphere in the evenings.
The ‘superior’ room I stayed in, Room 011, was overlooked on both sides and had no net curtain to give privacy during the day when the black out curtains were open. The room safe really didn’t like opening and took half a dozen goes to open - something obviously wrong with it. The (new) bathroom plumbing was eccentric and difficult to control, and worst of all there wasn’t a shower in the bath other than a tiny hand held shower for rinsing your hair. Odd given that the room and bathroom were obviously newly refurbished. The ‘standard’ room, Room 207, that my son stayed in was on the attic floor, and was very small with what could only be described as a WC in a cupboard. However it did have a proper shower which just about made it acceptable.
No bottled drinking water was provided in the rooms, however there are nearby shops that sell water and empty bottles can be re-filled at the hotel bar.
Evening meals were not great, hit and miss at best, and not surprisingly almost all the guests ate out. There are several good, and even very good, restaurants nearby, so this was not too much of an issue.
Generally very expensive for what you get.

La chambre avec balcon et sci séparé
Le petit déjeuner, manque de viennoiseries à partir de 9h-915 (Bon les gens en prennent et ne les mangent pas…)

Exceptional staff and a good breakfast. The suite was spacious with good views. Rooms are functional and comfy beds. Very convenient lift up to the suite and fantastic location to get up to the ski areas. Good discount for ski hire and 50 yards from the ski pass office. Couple of excellent bars and restaurants nearby.
The suite would be better characterised as a loft with the disadvantages of such. If you are tall you are ducking the beams. The two showers are challenged by the lack of space and i would have the master bedroom bath/shower as a walk in shower only and move the sink which would make it much easier to use although quite expensive to do. Its a good space but just needs thinking through a bit more.

Location was good for skiing. Very close to a liaison lift to the pistes.
Completely renewed, modern design.
Staff were helpful.
Cool decorations across the hotel.
Excellent value.
Cleaning could’ve been done more diligently. There was hair in the shower drain. Cups weren’t replaced every day. My tissue was left empty for a day. And one day housekeeping got to my room at almost 5 pm.
Super complicated shower.
Kind of an uphill trek from the heart of town.

Gentillesse du personnel, la décoration, l'emplacement, la propreté, le petit-déjeuner,excellent rapport qualité prix
La difficulté pour trouver la chambre, la petitesse de la chambre et le manque d'une bouteille d'eau.

Sehr bequemes Bett. Das Superiorzimmer hatte einen kleinen Balkon.

Great location for the alpe dhuez triathlon, free parking nearby, very close to restaurants. The staff were superb, very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very nicely presented, the bedroom was clean, tidy and a good size, the balcony looking across the alps was stunning. The bathroom was clean and tidy, the toilet and shower/sink are separate. The hotel kindly put on an early breakfast for the race participants. There was a good selection of cereals, and the usual continental breakfast items, and the bar was very popular for some post event drinks!
The breakfast could have been fresher, as some of the bread items were left out during the day. I would like to have a sink with the toilet rather than having the separate.

Staff were awesome, so helpful. Location is good - restaurants and cafes in walking distance. The main area for eating is in walking distance, however slightly steep slope going up. Hotel is really funky in is design, good fun!. Breakfast was continental, nice choice of breads to choose from .

Everything about the hotel was perfect! right next to the Alpe Express and another gondola to take you to the slopes within 5mins. the choice of beer and wine was ideal and all the waiters/waitresses were amazing! there’s also a smart TV in the room for Netflix etc. we will definitely stay here again!!!!!
nothing, it was perfect

clean and very comfortable. Great location. very helpful staff.
breakfast offered lots of variety but ‘cooked breakfast’ rarely available, always seemed to have run out of bacon, eggs and sausages unfortunately.

The view from our balcony were stunning, staff helpful and nothing was too much! Breakfast had a variety to chose from. The bed (including bedding and pillow) were super comfy.
There is plenty to see and do. We only stayed for a few days as we were scattering ashes on the alpes, so not so much a holiday.
Nothing!

Clean and comfortable rooms. Great location and awesome balcony with a view. Ski room is also ideal and conveniently located with direct access to the piste / lift.
Restaurant is very overpriced and the breakfast had very limited options for vegetarians / vegans. Parking also costs 20 euros a day which we found quite expensive (and it is a 10 minute walk away)

Fantastic Stay and perfect for a ski gettaway!

Your advert said there would be a tea/coffee maker in the room, which there wasn't. I asked at reception and they said it should have never been advertised. This actually caused us a lot of inconvenience.
