Quiet, spacious, and well-equipped room. It's not located in the center but is easy to reach via tram. Close to the university campus. Surrounding places are nice for a fresh morning run.
The breakfast was good but would benefit from more variety.

We came to work at the close by synchrotron MaxIV. We were very happy about the functionality and the pragmatic way we could access the facilities 24/7 and the breakfast was very nice.
There was nothing specifically bad or worth improving.

No front desk help and no answer for my question about the key card

It is a decent budget hotel with nice scandinavian style.

Excellent location, just outside Lund in a quiet area. The units are large and well equipped. Having a full size desk is very useful for me as an academic. These units would be great for longer stays.
There is a somewhat noisy fan providing fresh air; I would have liked to be able to turn this off / down. A dedicated coffee machine would also be a great addition.

The room was large enough, overall well equipped and with facilities like fridge, microwave , water boiler, plates and cups. Breakfast kind of basic but ok.
However, there was rather bad small from sink poisoning air in the whole room. One could feel the smell directly after entering the room. It would be rather decent place to stay otherwise for given money.

Jessica was great on the phone and cheered me up with some ham delivered to the room early next morning to enhance breakfast...thank you.
The fridge microwave and kitchenette were adequate for heating, cooking up snacks.
The hotel could be found on google street view albeit with pictures of its construction.
The hotel was not a crowded place in fact it was quite deserted.
The room was warm, spacious, new, tidy and clean.
The bed was quite comfy.
The location was easy to get to from the E22
The free parking was very useful and easy to access.
It was very handy to have a kitchenette in the bedroom.......and essential for breakfast.
Relative to other nearby hotels the room rate was competitive but this is because the service is minimal.
Breakfast was also relatively low cost for the same reason.
The door opening system was complex and worrying on first arrival (used at the end of the day after a long journey when phone charge is running out) it relies on an app with key codes and blue tooth. There was no human back up on site.
It was not clear to me what room number I had been allocated until I eventually found a message left on the day of arrival at booking.com. Apparently it says the room number on the key app but I could not find where.
Somewhat noisy location being quite near the E22 but the rooms were well sound proofed, providing all doors and windows were shut.
The duvet was bit too small with no overhang around the bed
There was no bath and the shower cubicle was slightly cramped.
TV access to free live news channels was limited but good connection to netflix or prime if you subscribe.
A small peep window by the door with no blinds provided a view direct to the bed for any passers by....most strange!
Breakfast was mediocre at best. I had to supplement with museli, milk and grapes from a shop plus a coffee late at circle K.
There was no communal breakfast buffet, just a few items left in a fridge in the hotel bedroom.
Apparently the communal breakfast room has never been in service. Instead breakfast was DIY in the bedroom.
There was no hot breakfast or eggs.
Breakfast was a meagre yoghurt with cheap granola and a tasteless bread roll with some cheese. One orange and one apple was provided and only instant coffee or green / tea. No carton of fresh milk just minute sachets of longlife milk.
So whilst breakfast was adequate, it was a lonely austere and meagre affair.
There were no rugs or carpets to change on just wood or tiles and there was no bath.

As I am there for the MAX IV beamtime so, because of the odd shift timing, the availability of breakfast at any time is best thing for me.
The room is a bit expensive to stay.

the room arrangement is good; it is well furnished, and brand new; the tram is convenient to get the place, stop maxIV is few steps away; access to max IV and ESS facility is easy by a short walk; check in and check out process via app is convenient and the staff (jessica) support you to deal with it at anytime; the site just opened, for sure in short time will provide more services
the comfort of the room can be improved: the fan (for room ventilation i guess) it s noisy, when it starts it s annoying, bed can be better; morning light comes in no matter the blinds on the windows (the door has a small no blinded pale glass on it); the policy to manage cleaning and towels change is weird: you don't know when they come checking the room, so i put the towel on the floor at morning and when back in the evening i found it still there; at my arrival i found a small towel and a large towel for a booking of 5 days; i should have asked for more the same day, my fault; saying all this i add also that the price for the room is not cheap for what you get;

Every recommendation for the hotel! It is clean and has everything you need for a week's stay. The host, Jessica, is easy to communicate with and is very understanding for some particular needs of the guests.
The hotel is perfectly suited for MAX IV visitors, but I would recommend it to anyone.
