The facilities were clean and had lots of plants which is nice and a nice pool, the staff was nice and the balcony at is nice.
You have to be very quiet which some people prefer, the rooms are decent but no TV, we could also see in around our door, which bothered my wife.

The hotel is located (like all the hotels in the upper part of this city) in the red light district of Angeles City. We did not know, that this part was a red light district, because we wanted to visit the Pinatubo Mountain from there.
The blue painted building is a nice oasis in this city, it has also a swimming pool and the host is nice and helpful with informations like the regulary bus which is operating from Angeles City to Manila Airport. The rooms are big and the beds comfortable. The shower has hot water and the accommodation is clean and is located in a quiet zone. The hotel is in general located offside of the main bustle of the bars - but by a footwalk it is easy to get to the "center".
The big advantage of this part of Angeles City is, that there are many expats from different countries all over the world who enjoy the amenities of Angeles City - so there are many good restaurants like a very good Italian one in the near, Korean or a few Swiss Restaurants where you can even get Rösti.
I recommend this hotel to all travellers.
Info for tourists: If you want to visit the Pinatubo, you have to drive further to Capas or Santa Juliana and stay there, because it is a drive of around 2 hours from Angeles City and they start the mountain tours at 6am - so Angeles City is not the best place to stay for a hike to Mt Pinatubo. There are many tourists (exclusively mid aged men plus) from all over the world in this city, probably one of the most touristic places in the Philippines, but as a tourist couple or solotraveller women you feel a little bit displaced there.
The towels were from a weird material, which was super fluffy (plush?) and so it did not dry off like towels from common materials. I also missed a place for hang the towels in the bathroom.
It would be nice if there would be a hook on the roof of the room above the bed for self-brought mosquito nets - but that was a issue in all accommodations in the Philippines.
The air condition was a little bit noisy - it is the typical in the Philippines used A/C-box which we had in barely all hotels in our trip in the Philippines. After a few days you get used to the noise they are doing.

Big hotel with good size rooms with balconies. The rooms are basic with no frills but exceptionally good value. The only hotel I ever stayed in in the Philippines that was really good value. I've stayed in about 20 hotels in the Philippines. At the end of my stay I was due to have 100 php taken off my deposit for 2 beers but the owner didn't have any change so he said I didn't have to pay for the beers. I also got a free beer on arrival. For me this summed up the very positive attitude the hotel owners have towards their guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent value and being treated like a human being.
This hotel is amazing value but not really suitable for people looking for a high quality hotel with 5 star facilities.

Nice pool and inside garden. Kitchenware good to use. And a welcome drink.

A good, clean and quiet place with friendly and professional staff. A very nice large double bed (exactly what many of us need in Angeles), also a good shared area downstairs with a microwave and other useful stuff. Also you got bars and mosquito nets on your windows.
Yes, it's pretty far from the center but very easy to get there by a local transport... For me it's an advantage, not a disadvantage at all. Also some nice streetfood just outside. I felt comfortable while staying in this place.
Well, the rooms can really be improved. I think an A/C should be available in every room, not only in some rooms. Also a safe-box, a small fridge... I didn't have a TV in my room as well, but it's okay, who needs a TV in Angeles?
The short way to this place from a roadway runs through a very dirty passage. For me it's okay but ladies wouldn't like it at all. This is not the problem of the hotel though, I hope somehow local authorities can improve it.

We were supposed to be there June 1-3 but due to some emergencies on our end, we ended up staying at the place for 1 night only. Dan, one of the owners of the place was so accommodating!! Definitely such a great host, from recommendations on what we could do and helping us with some last minute hindrances, Hands-off to all their staffs as well, very hospitable, everything went well and we loved every second of our stay, definitely loved the place!!!

Location and price.
The occasional brown outs.

Well the free coffee is always nice, set up to cook your own if you are inclined. VFW as short walk away has good breakfasts available, reasonably priced. The place is new so all is in good working order. Good variety of rooms available at budget price. Rooms are interestingly designed. I upgrade to a A/C room from fan room without any difficulty. Prices are quite low right now as they are new and trying to attract cliental
Well the biggest drawback is the location if you don't have your own transportation. Can always catch the Jeepney on the main road, a 2 block walk. That 2 block walk at night back from the main road is dark and creepy like. You can and maybe should take a trike back to the hotel at night. I was not a big fan of the indoor pool.. looks kind of stuffed in, but interestingly designed. 4 levels... no elevator...to the 2nd level was more than enough for me.
