Great host
Phenny was a great host. Her comms were super responsive, she put me in touch with an excellent driver and sorted out a transfer to/from Diani and she came to meet when I arrived. She also upgraded me to another place so I can't actually comment on the place I booked through booking.com.

Friendly host
The host was super friendly and explained a lot to us, that we were able to organise ourselves in the first days in Kenya.

A very good choice if you don’t want to spend too much, but still have all you need in an apartment and stay in a good a
Authentic location, good value for money and a safe place to stay.
The fan can be a bit too weak for the warmest nights in Mombasa.

Very good
I had a fantastic experience last Friday! The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The host was incredibly hospitable, making sure all my needs were met and providing great local recommendations. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a wonderful experience.

An old apartment in an unpleasant building
The host Phenic was a very kind woman. Also, the kitchen looked well equipped, though we were there only for one full day and we didn't use it but might be helpful to someone.
The apartment is in an unpleasant building with so weird entrance that arriving at night can be a bit scary. We didn't feel very safe, despite the huge lock and that Phenic was trying to convince us the opposite. The facilities inside were very old, the bathroom was uncomfortable. The room was relatively small and couldn't fit two big suitcases well.

Wish there was a 0 rating option as this place truly deserves it!
NOTHING. We were extremely happy to leave this place.
I don't even know where to start... First of all, do not trust any of the pictures. The cleanliness of this place is more than doubtful, I lost count of how many cockroaches we killed within the first hour. We didn't even dare to set foot into the kitchen. The shower consists of a bucket on the floor and little cockroaches owning the tiny space. The balcony was an absolute favourite, a broken chair and surrounded by a huge fence making you feel like a bird in a cage. The entrance to the building also deserves a mention here. One of the creepiest, dirtiest and smelliest courtyard I have experienced in my entire life. The owner was not present during check-in, sending a random someone with the key instead, only showing up late in the evening to collect the worst ever spent money of my life. I am puzzled at how this accomodation gets such good reviews. I did not even feel safe while we stayed there. Attaching real photos of the place, just see for yourself! Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.
