Price. Room appeared in new condition.
The check in was awful. I thought it was done online, but when I got there it had to be done the old hard way. Very impersonal. There is highway noise.

Clean and tidy, good value for money. Online photos pretty accurate.
Tea bags in the room would be nice. We’re British…..we like our tea!

I was harassed by the hotel staff at the check-in lobby, who’m by my educated assumption own the hotel. They yelled at me even when I maintained composure and explained why I disagreed with them not returning my $50. They also talked amongst themselves speaking Indian language and laughing amongst themselves as If amused they took my deposit unfairly. They charge $20 cash only extra per hour if you want to check in early. They will call your room exactly at 10:00am for you to leave the premises. They are money hungry hotel who will nickel and dime you, even as far as charging you $10 extra to check in at twenty minutes early at 2:40pm vs 3:00pm. There are cameras everywhere, no privacy, and the hotel owners will RIP YOU OFF your $50 deposit if you have a friend come for one hour.
They robbed me for my $50 cash only deposit, threatened to blacklist me from booking dot com when I told them I’d write a bad review. They intimidated me over the room phone when my friend who just came to visit an hour (no, she didnt sleep over. Not even close to it, but the hotel owners said to me if a third person is in the room with you for more than 5-15 minutes (yes they said 5-15mins) even if ur friend leaves twenty minutes later theyll use that as an excuse to rip you off your $50. The refrigerator didn’t work, yes it was plugged in. Never come here unless you want to get ripped off by a business with predatory business practices.

Room was nice.
It didn't meet the 4 star rating. The motel had bars on the windows. We were also handed the TV remote post check in and the AC was barely functional. It feels like a 1 star with updated appliances and finishes. I think a 2 star is more accurate representation.

Clean rooms, good parking spots, comfortable beds, working tv. The interior seems to be renovated or new. Easy and friendly check in or out. Nice breakfast around - check Molly Brown’s Country Cafe.
It was near the main road so could be a bit loud for some people, for us it was ok.

This Inn is a hidden gem not only in price but in the rooms themselves. While the location looks questionable at first after the first night, I felt very comfortable. I needed to stay 2 days in the area for work and found this hotel to be the best location for what I was trying to do. I love how at night the light is bright in the parking lot area so you can see why is outside and you can see your car right outside of the rooms.
The owner was nice too. Very helpful and fun to talk too. From past reviews I have read about certain users, they have corrected them and are running the Inn a lot better. So the deposit issue was a non issue. I didn't use the wifi since I have a cellular iPad Pro but it is available if needed.
The room was nice and clean. Very modern too. They have USB-A and USB-C outlets in the walls so if you forgot a power adapter, you are set for those devices.
What was a bit concerning at first but it went away after the first night was the location on where the Inn is located. It is far from food and services if you don't have a car. About a mile or two. I was worried about it at first when I checked in but like I said everything went away after the first night. I felt right at home after.
So in other words, don't stay here if you don't have a car since you need to drive to places.
It is not that big of a negative now but it is something to think of.

The updated room has a great shower and gorgeous mirror and sink countertops. Despite being near the freeway it was quite quiet inside.

all pictures were a surprise and quite different than expectations
They also had no elevators and wanted me to walk to 2nd floor I’m disabled and put that on my request with Booking.com this is again the American Disability Act!
front desk had lots of surprises very bad language barrier and said my credit card was not acceptable it’s a Capital One credit card not a debit card front desk could not understand my explanation he was just told no Master card DEBIT cards 😣

The receptionist lady was cold and unwelcoming from the start. Also this is the first motel in my experience that required a 50$ deposit.
The room was like an average motel room, except that there was unpleasant smell.
The checkout was at 10am, while in other motels it was on 11am or even at noon. We were late by 30 minutes, and the lady demanded us to pay 20$ for a late checkout, because she said we delayed the cleaning person (who was cleaning the other rooms in the meantime, so we hadn't delayed him).
She asked us to pay in cash, and I gave her 20$ bill.
When I left my initial review on Booking.com I left it 5/10 rating, and the owner left inappropriate message with such messages:
"As per the male that stayed with you said the room was amazing" - not true, since I stayed with my girlfriend, and she didn't like the stay as well.
"In fact we gave you a complimentary late checkout." - not true, since she took my 20$ bill, which I suppose was hidden from tax report as a "complimentary late checkout".
"On top of that our front desk gave you amenities that we don’t usually offer" - we haven't been offered any amenities, the room was average for the price and not the best one we stayed in.
I contacted the Booking.com support about inappropriate comment they made, and because this made my experience worse, I'm writing this review to reflect it.
In conclusion, this was one of the worst stays ever because not only they make you feel unwelcomed, demand a deposit, and also charge you 20$ in cash for 30 minutes late checkout, which no other hotel ever done in my experience. They also leave false and inappropriate comments on Booking.com trying to gaslight you, which makes the experience the worst.
I would avoid this hotel and wouldn't recommend anyone to stay in it.

My room was very clean updated. Non Smoking facility. Owners stressed non smoking property..even though we had a language barrier. I got the message very clear.
I wish the owners could speak better english.
