Ein großartiger Urlaub durch herzliche Menschen

Ich habe dieses Hotel ohne groß nachzudenken gebucht und keine Sekunde bereut. Es ist vielleicht nicht das luxuriöseste Hotel, aber für uns war es perfekt. Vom ersten Kontakt bis zum Schluss war man ein Teil dieses Hauses. Alle waren immer herzlich und hilfsbereit. Es gab keine "Liegen reservierende Personen" und somit immer irgendwo ein Plätzchen (entweder am Pool oder am Strand). Es gab nie Zeitdruck, weil ausschlafen genauso möglich war. Es war unser perfekter Urlaub. Man ist direkt beim Strand und liegt recht ruhig. Wenn man es lauter haben möchte, geht man ein paar Minuten in den Ort (der hat aber wenig griechisches und mehr künstlich angelegt für Touristen). Der nächste und sehr zuverlässige Auto/Roller-Vermieter ist die Straße rauf und bietet so die Möglichkeit Buchten abzufahren. Beim Hotel-Strand kann man auch div. Wassersportmöglichkeiten nutzen. Ich würde auf Zakynthos jederzeit wieder hier her kommen und kann dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen. Ganz großartige Menschen, die dem Hotel mit sehr viel Engagement Leben einhauchen und Gästen einen tollen Aufenthalt bereiten. Ich vermisse es jetzt schon. Liebe Grüße "Mr. Und Mrs.Corona"☺️

Exceptional

The hotel is directly on a great beach. It offers also a beautiful cleen pool and a restaurant with great food and super service. Also we could order directly from our sunbeds on the beach. The rooms are well maintained, clean and confortable. You can easy recognise here owners with an eye for all the details making life easy and beautiful. George, Zorana, Juliet and all the staff are very friendly, eficient and making our holidays perfect.

Liked everything didnt have breakfast as went self catering but had lunch and evening meals and they were brilliant,

So pleased we chose this hotel, everything was perfect.

From the minute we arrived to the moment we left, we felt totally looked after by the team of staff, whether by the pool, on the beach or in the restaurant. Our room was clean and had everything we needed - a fridge, a free safe, aircon and a good shower. We loved the waiter service on the beach and the fact that it was just a few metres from the hotel.

We can't think of anything we didn't like!

Extremely clean, great location and nice staff, but bad breakfast

The rooms are extremely clean, and the staff is very nice! Great view and easy access to a nice beach for families with children and babies. Many facilities around and close to the small town. The pool is also nice and the area around it is cosy with sun and shade.

After the first day of breakfast there, we decided to have breakfast in the neighbor restaurants, as it took really really long to be served. The staff is very nice, but unfortunately they seem to be often very busy in the restaurant.

Superb

The thing that I loved the most was the welcome folder with all the information about the island, the personnel was extremely friendly always with a smile. They were really customer oriented taking care of us as if we were the most important clients. We loved to have discount at the bar and sunbeds.

The rooms were dark and the bed was rather noisy and the mattress was quite hard.

Outdated hotel

Nice pool nice lady at reception (over the day) which tried to make our stay as comfortable as it could be. also managed to change our room coz of loud music next door bar.

Hotel equipment is very outdated. Rooms and surrounding need reconstruction imo. Bed is super small for 2 ppl and making VERY squeaky sound when you move. Bathroom is pretty old too, felt how bathtub moved when I steped in.. Idk if they have ghost or what but EVERY NIGHT around 23 (11pm) you can hear moving furniture from upstairs which is disturbing. Also doors are from “paper” so u can hear everything from hallway.. 1st night we had ground floor just oposite reception and we heard every word. EXTREMLY LOUD music EVERY NIGHT just from next door bar from 21-00:30 which makes absolutely sleepless night if ur room is located towards that bar. Breakfast was extremly disappointing. For 6€ continental menu include one slice of the cheapest salami, one slice of cheese, two pcs of hard toast and badly boiled egg.. croasant for 4€ was heated at microwave and felt like piece of rubber.. when I tried to point out to that deficiency staff member told me if I got what the menu says so what is the problem :) Had awesome breakfast for half a price at local bakery where everythink was fresh. Overall experience is very bad.

perfect (almost) family holiday location!

perfect location (nicely quiet) and great for young families.

benefit from modernising and some further investment in the rooms. no facilities for self catering (other than a tiny fridge). would be helpful to have somewhere to prepare basic food for light breakfasts and lunch.

a very good professionally run lovely hotel.. I enjoyed my stay there..cool clean spacious rooms with TV, fridge, good bedding and mattress..very comfortable..and aircon of course.for good nights sleep..great pool to swim in and a step away from a gorgeous sandy beach and warm clear sea..perfect for swimming and for families.. A lovely holiday at Hotel Valais

This was my third visit to the hotel. I choose it for the location. Peaceful, but near enough to the little town. A lovely beach, with good service. A relaxing pool to sunbathe by, where bar and meal services are available. The owner's made me feel so very welcome, and were keen to help with anything I needed. The hotel is kept to a very high level of cleanliness. Very comfortable beds and good quality linen The food is excellent and offers a wide choice. I look forward to visiting again. The only thing would be; The loud noise late at night, coming from furniture being moved around upstairs. ( seemed to be every night ) Maybe something placed underneath furniture would stop this. The people staying either side of my room, experienced the same noise disruption.

Superb

The price list of accommodation and services provided is adequate and various surcharges such as aircon, beach towels, sunbeds etc. they aren't a problem, on the contrary, you don't have to pay for them if you don't require them, but they are available. That's important. I didn't mind paying extra. The staff is willing and able to resolve any deficiencies. At least in my case. Simple breakfasts didn't bother me, it's always possible to order something richer. The beds are neither bad nor excellent, it's individual. A great benefit is the location of the hotel and hotel services on the beach serving drinks and snacks on the hotel bill. I can imagine coming back here.

Almost nothing, but on the other side there's always room for improvement.

Gorgeous place to stay

Fantastic facilities and such a warm welcome, huge menu, great water sports, lovely views from the rooms, on a lovely sandy bay, great for families, we have stayed many times and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
