The size of the property was great
The place was filthy, kitchen floor made your feet black as it was so dirty. No heating downstairs so it was freezing cold on a evening and in the mornings, beds were ultra thin springs poking in, facilities were all broken, bins were full and kitchen bin had no lid, toilet brushs were covered in old feases. Really old coffee stuck to the bottom of the tin. The cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. We contacted them on day 1 about the heating and cleanliness and was told it would be sorted. None of which was. After contacting about the heating everyday we then started getting ignored and was left freezing cold with kids for 3 days. Photos advertised are diseaving.

We were provided a pin code and collected the key on arrival from the locked box. Very convenient and easy.
Having instructions on how to boost the heating would have been good. This was later provided when requested, however would have been good to have this information on arrival as some of the days were cold.

Entrance hallway could have been a little more welcoming and the stairs could have been modified to make it more fitting and safe.

Very nice and clean , little extras in cupboards that you’d probably forget like tea coifed sugar olive oil .
well situated for day trips to different locations and st Helen’s town centre.
House situated in walking distance of St. Helens junction station to travel by train toLiverpool for sight seeing. (Some train tickets include unlimited bus and underground travel plus ferry cross the Mersey .
Lots of free museums central Liverpool . Tudor just opposite lime st station and maritime museum on the dock area very interesting.
Parked in car park next door to the house all week with no charges or time restrictions
Bed in back double very uncomfortable . Poor quality mattress. Others were ok .

We liked the location of the property there were shops and food takeaways on the same street which was very handy. We used the house as a base to go to Gulliver's world theme park in Warrington. House was much bigger than we ever imagined it to be had a great quirky lay out and having 2 toilets and showers over both ground floor and upstairs for a family stay was fantastic. We would definitely come back in the future.
Just a personal thing as we're not used to it however the Livingroom window and front door being right on the council path that would for us take a good bit of getting used to but it was fine for our couple of nights stay. The stairs to upper level is very steep however the owners have taken measures with signage to remind you which is great.

absolutely beautiful property in a quiet location, owners are lovely and helpful and on hand for any queries, I had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this property if you are thinking about stopping in the area 10/10
