Brilliant venue for the rugby.

Lovely dual aspect room fabulous views.

I was worried about the noise from the motorway but couldn't hear a thing.

Very happy with hotel, hadn’t stayed at a Marriott before but certainly will in the future.

Clean rooms, lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Location good.

Nice clean room, food good, comfortable but uncomfortably warm in the room

The room was hotter than the sun, aircon said room was 24.5 degrees, i set it to 18 and it did nothing, windows dont open and it was uncomfortably hot especially in the winter, ability to control room temp would have been nice

Convenient if a bit pricey

There was a mix up when we arrived which meant I paid the invoice and then as we were checking out we were told that we had more to pay as the person that was on the day before had calculated our bill wrong! But other than that location was great for us, room was lovely and the breakfast was also pretty good. My children loved the view!

Would stay again if visiting Exeter.

The rooms were lovely and clean, beds comfy. Staff were nice throughout the hotel.

Hidden costs. Parking charge of £12 wasn't mentioned until arrival along with having to pay for WiFi in the room. But these are relatively small issues.

Breakfast was very good

No internet access without paying and the lighting in the room was very confusing. Sat Bav does not take you to the right location to enter hotel and took nearly an hour to navigate to where we needed to be as the sat nav took us mikes and we ended up at the same place.

Location on the ring road, SATnav always tried to take you the wrong way and you end up in the country lanes and unable to access the hotel

It was the perfect place for our family of 4 to get a relaxing weekend away.

Breakfast was very good and we loved the inter-connecting rooms for families.

The bar downstairs closed at 8.30pm on New years eve which was a little disappointing. There was loud bass music from the party on 8th floor, which was loud on 5th floor until 1am.

Ok but the bathroom is not for me

The bed was lovely and comfortable

Unable to open window or get the heating below 17.5c. The frosted glass between the bedroom and bathroom is just wrong, who wants to see their partner on the loo (gross).

Convenient stay for westpoint and IKEA

A comfortable night in not quite the right location

A modern comfortable hotel, with good food and friendly staff

Location at Sandy Park is ideal for the rugby, but little else. Quite a long drive into Exeter. Beware that Google Maps does not know the correct entrance.

The location and the views.

The Bistro because it is a business area, not suitable for a meal. Also the View restaurant, it was not clean, badly laid out and understaffed. The £12 parking fee is ludicrous.

Restful and worth returning again

Breakfast was lovely with plenty of selections,cooked food was nicely done,not overcooked, and plentiful. Location of hotel was perfect for our needs on the edge of the city and not too far out. Facilities looked excellent and the view from the restaurant was lovely

We have stayed here before and once again it was excellent in every way! Fantastic room, spacious and well equipped. Brilliant breakfast, everything you could want and more! Lovely location, perfect for getting pretty much anywhere in Devon!

Lovely hotel but no organisation.

Great location for travelling onto Cornwall

Ques at the bar were far to long. Only 1 person serving I waited over 20mins to be served. Devon burger was terrible, no taste just greasy and bland. Again I waited over an hour for my food because of a mix up in table numbers. If it was extremely busy there would be no issue but a very average night with last than 30 in the dining area

Top class hotel.

The room was fabulous, the bed was really comfortable and it was lovely and quiet. It was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a delicious evening meal and breakfast in the morning. We loved the choices of breakfast items and it was cooked superbly.

There was nothing to fault....maybe some more milk in the hotel room.

Lovely hotel, great staff and really comfortable.

Great breakfast. The tea and coffee was all a bit confusing and could do with some clear signage though.

We had the soup for lunch on Monday. It was expensive and honestly the worst thing I've ever been served. It was potato soup and was disgusting - tasteless and slimey, we went to deliver a workshop that afternoon hungry as we couldn't eat it.

Great last minute stay. Would do this all over again :)

Reception staff were exceptional. Really friendly and accommodating. Provided great service and communicated everything well. I would visit again based on the interactions and the room quality.

Went to breakfast late and it was way too busy for the amount of staff/equipment in the back creating a bottleneck on what needed to be done etc but it was still nice and pleasant for the price. I would probably go earlier for breakfast in future.

Beautifully modern and wonderful rooms.

The hotel is exceptionally modern, so the style and architecture were very much to my liking. Breakfast was also really good and the staff were very helpful.

I thought it was slightly closer to Exeter Town Centre, but even then, it's not that far from the centre anyhow.

Ideal resting place for attending events at Sandy Park

Breakfast was good. Hot food being continually topped up. Tables cleared relatively quickly as guests vacated them. A journey that should have taken just over 2 hours took nearly 3 and a half so we were later arriving than planned but on arrival staff were very helpful in registering our car in car park so we could go and watch the rugby match which was due to start. When we returned to hotel check in was smooth and speedy.

It would have been nice if tea and coffee could have been served st breakfast rather than having to queue to use the coffee machine then move location to make a cup of tea.
