The property was absolutely fantastic. I was amazed by how this property was built and I had an incredible time from start to finish. The views were breathtaking. The food from the restaurant had so much flavour and we were able to order drinks from the other restaurant nearby. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. I would recommend this stay to anybody.
The one downfall was the price being quite expensive to stay for a night but we saved up to stay for our anniversary so it was worth it for us.

The bamboo house and the views were amazing and met our expectations - my wife was really impressed. On our last day we also met Gusti who was really nice and caring. We spent about one and half hour chatting to him while waiting for our driver. He took a good care of us and was super nice to talk to. He's one of those few people who can make your day wonderful. His positivity and happiness transferred on to us, he has an amazing energy about him.
Where do I start? It may seem like we are difficult customers but for this sort of money I expect impeccable service and top standards. Unfortunately, our experience was far from it.
The bed sheets, towel and kimonos all had stains over them. And not just one small one but several and of different sizes. They were washed but stained and quite a bit.
Similarly, the hammock and the net on the first floor were dirty, we had to ask for blanket to cover the net at which point I was offerred a spare duvet. I feel like it should have been provided without the need for asking. Either way, I would expect both hammock and the net to be clean. The net must have been there for good number of years without being changed.
The mosquito nets around the beds had holes eaten by moths, again please change at least once per season or even every three months if necessary.
The pillows smelt of mothballs, not pleasant having to breath this all night long.
On two occassions a drone was being flown by some of the guests. First time it was just before sunset and as we were basking in the sun and enjoying nature half naked. As you can imagine it was a very unpleasant surprise when suddenly a drone emerged over our heads. Half an hour later we got a message from reception saying that one of the guests "are going to fly" the drone and that they are sorry about the inconvenience. As a good will gesture offered us a meal on the house. It was only when I was paying the bill when checking out, when I realised they only took off one meal (my wife's). This is realky cheap on their part considering the meals were c.100k each. Most hotels we've been to have no drone policy in place. Unfortunately, guests' privacy isn't valued as much in this establishment.
The breakfast was really basic - eggs with couple of stake toasts with ketchup and chilly sauce (we didn't ask for sauce and didn't eat, but it kept coming anyway).

I had the pleasure of staying at the stunning Magic Hills, and I recommend it highly. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the beauty of the surroundings - the view of the paddy field was absolutely breathtaking, and I found myself spending hours just taking in the peaceful scenery.
The interior of the resort was just as impressive - every detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the use of local materials to the unique artwork on the walls. I was constantly discovering new design elements that made me appreciate the space even more.
But what truly made my stay special was the staff. They were incredibly kind and friendly, and went out of their way to make sure that I felt welcomed and comfortable throughout my stay. From offering helpful tips on places to explore nearby to simply making sure that I had everything I needed, they made me feel like I was part of the family.
One of my favorite memories was sitting outside on the terrace, watching the sunset over the hills. It was an incredibly peaceful moment, and I felt so grateful to be able to experience it in such a beautiful place.
Overall, my stay at the Balinese resort was an unforgettable experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat. Thank you to the staff for making my stay so memorable!

A must stay for the views! Only 1 or 2 nights needed.
The food could be improved on. Although the host did mention they are in the process of extending the menu.
Our bedroom had a musty smell that bothered me . You do have to consider its an open space.

the reception staff is very nice.
They send you all the important details over wapp (which is very useful)
you are in the middle of nature. the flower arrangements from the pool and in the room were a nice touch.
the mosquito net even if a bit tore did its job.
great view, and a nice hammock. ( i would have liked two :)
The breakfast is very light for the high price of the room.
It was a bit cold at night and I could not find any warm blanket.
there are a lot of animal noises during the night so if you sleep lightly get some earplugs.
the wi-fi was bad but you are in the middle of nature so you expect that.

Its in the middle of nature and I am a little scared of insects so that was a little uncomfortable but its something I chose for myself knowing the consequences so no complaints

The location is amazing, the view is phenomenal
Prices for the services are too high and they even try to scam you by quoting high prices and upon bargain they reduce the price which eventually leads you to think about the pricing model

Fresh breakfast. There are few choices. Breakfast gets delivered in Villa.
Even though it’s far from the city, it’s close to many waterfalls, temples. Offers great view, sunset views are breathtaking. A lot of privacy.
Few more options for breakfast can be better. Such as espresso, sausage and bacon. But we didn’t have any issues with all that was offered.

The view is amazing. The view is amazing. The view is amazing
I needed to repeat that 3 times since it is the best feature of this property. Probably in the whole Bali Island.
If you turn off all lights in the property and the weather is clear, you might be lucky to experience a starry night.
Food is great, the hosts are very polite and friendly.
For those who do not like nature, there could be a couple of wild life coming to the open style villa like frogs, fireflies or wasps.
The wifi is a bit spotty, could be better. The surrounding area has lots of dogs, or strays. Those who do not like dogs may not want to explore the village nearby.

we absolutely loved the views and just every feature of the house!
Animals / Insects can still get into the room upstairs as theres no protection from the doors/windows because there are gaps everywhere.

The Villa is beautifully built, and has a great view .No need for fans or air-cons, its very windy. Good to stay for a day and chill. Spa staffs are good and provide excellent service.
It’s in the middle of nowhere and you need to be dependent on the staff and the host to
take you to places or tours for which they charge a lot or double than usual. Breakfast is included but it was restricted on the last day which felt kind of stingy.
