This was a perfect property for our stay. So relaxing and an easy walk to town for dinner first night and train station next morning straight into the middle of London for the VCR events. With no restrictions on coming and going times and quite area it was simply
Perfect

Just what we needed as a comfortable base to explore the area. Good parking, peaceful location, full oven and kitchen facilities, large TV - home from home.
There was nothing we didn't like. There were just the two of us. There is a separate double bedroom with a sofa bed in the lounge. The flat would be rather small and cramped for four people.

I liked the location, great for where we needed to be. The kitchen had everything we needed. But as for the bed situation.... gross. If it had been a genuine mishap with cleaners and the owner had listened to concerns then I wouldn't have worried about flagging the cleanliness because I'd have been satisfied he'd sort it for future clients. Seeing as he thinks its OK to accuse us however makes me think someone else will fall foul. Don't book!!!
The bed sheets were absolutely disgusting. We didn't have time to call the owner the first night due to my daughter being in a competition early next morning and having driven for 4hrs and us being tired & just wanting to sleep. We were out all day the next day ...as soon as we got home however we texted him the photos. We bought new sheets for the second night because we could not sleep on the ones provided. He basically called us liars and said that the cleaners had washed the sheets. Ok, if they were washed then those stains were washed in which is still UNACCEPTABLE. There was blood and urine stains and hairs in the bed. We have the photos with the time stamp and location from when we first arrived and until we were able to buy fresh sheets the next day( which we took home with us and WILL take with us everytime now just in case we fall foul to any other rank stays) we slept on top of the bed the first night laying on our towels as no way would I get in those beds. My husband put the duvet covers in the wash the next morning and we put the fresh sheets on (that we bought from tesco in the morning) for night 2. The owner sent us a picture of a duvet with a rip and said we must've ripped it (funnily only after we'd raised our complaint).... frankly the rip was the last of our problems and we were far more concerned with the stains but the rip was there already and not done by us. Trust I would much rather be watching TV right now than "making up stuff" on a review. DON'T book, if I save just one of you from sleeping here, then it's been worth my cup of tea going cold whilst I write this! host refused to co operate or compensate but booking.com have offered us some compensation instead as they've seen the evidence. The fact that the host can just get away with saying "no" is disgraceful. Booking.com need to get tougher on these hosts.
PS the photos in the listing look great don't they?
