The customer service and thought that went into our arrival was perfect. Easter eggs for the kids and essentials on arrival. Was able to have a hot drink after a long drive. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen etc all modern and clean. The shower was very nice and the storage space was ample.

the lodge was very well maintained, very clean. had everything we needed in there and the hamper of goodies was a very nice surprise . The children loved finding toys in the bedroom

the bathroom mirror was a bit too high for me (im petite build) and the kids. My husband found the bed a bit too hard. But these are very minor complaints and overall we had a lovely time and would come back if in the area

we had two lodges both were exceptional just like home from home the beds were so comfy the whole lodge was so clean and the welcome pack left for us was just amazing it was a weeks worth of shopping just so good. we will definitely be booking this accommodation in the future . thank you so much we have had the best four days away

It was a brilliant place, immaculately clean,easy to find And the welcome box 🎁 was everything you needed. We enjoyed the whole experience that we did a video and sent it to a few friends and family. We will be returning in the near future for another short break.

In a lovely location, the owners were very accommodating, the place itself was spick and spam, newly refurbished and looked like new...

It was a shame that the leisure centre caught fire whilst we were there which stopped our use of the gym and pool, and it also interfered with the Internet, so we were left without computer access other than using our own data, but signal was so poor that in the end we didnt bother switching anything on.

We spent a week at Brambles. Paul and Kirsti met and greeted us at the Lodge on our first day. Both were very lovely and accommodating, even left us a little hamper too! The lodge met our expectations, very clean with everything provided, couldn't ask for more! Location was spot on too, central if you're wanting to visit Totnes, Paignton, Brixham and surrounding areas. Definitely recommend this lodge ☺️ Thank you!

the lodge was very comfortable and clean. great size - just perfect for us. The Wi-Fi was really good. the location was great too, as we wanted to go to Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, it was the perfect place to base ourselves. The food hamper was greatly appreciated.

Great lodge, lovely setting and a terrific location to explore the local area and beyond. Lodge was very comfortable, had a great kitchen, plenty of storage and the deck was magic as it was very warm to be inside. Hosts were friendly and on hand but didn't impose. A stay here is thoroughly recommended.

The wifi went off after a couple of days and, as it was a fault with the mast, it was out-with the host's control. Sadly, it never came back on for the rest of the week. There is good 4g reception so we just loaded up on data and hot-spotted. This was absolutely the only downside though and hopefully the mast is fixed now.

From the moment you open the door and smell the freshness, you know you're off to a good start. The next thing you see is a table with a food hamper on top of it. Literally, everything you could possibly need is there. The hosts have missed nothing. The food hamper is top quality too. Most items are M&S. There are the usual salt, vinegar, and some sauce sachets, but on top, there are things like washing up liquid and cooking oil. Ice cubes are already frozen for you. There is hand wash in the bathroom, (which is 100% spotless, everywhere). Toilet rolls are there in abundance and not cheap tat. Towels are luxury soft and smelled so fresh. The shower is a power shower with a push-button for high and low flow. Hot water is from a Worcester combi-boiler in the kitchen so that you won't run short of the hot stuff. All plates and bowls are of excellent quality (M&S). There are plenty of sharp knives and a chopping board. A washing machine and they even supply you with pods for the machine. In the cupboard there is a 'Doggy pack' With bowls and covers for the chairs. You should use these if you have a dog. When the hosts go to this much trouble to make your stay pretty much perfect, it's worth being considerate. The beds and bedding are spotless and fresh smelling. Little finishing touches here and there tell you that Paul and Kirsti have this nailed to a 'T'. There was nothing at all that we could find wrong. We didn't look for things to complain about. We just got on with our stay. All we saw were more surprises. Positive and unexpected surprises. Like the fan in the Main bedroom cupboard. It's a tower-stick type fan and it works really well. I'd like to say that someday, all hotel and rental accommodation will be done this way. But I sincerely doubt that this could be matched. I am in no way affiliated with Paul and Kirsti. I did meet Paul, who was a lovely chap and just wanted to make sure everything was right.

Only the view from the patio doors. The lodge could do with being the other way round. That can't be done. But you use it as a base for a holiday. And when the rest of the accommodation is that good, who cares? It's close to the road, but the sound insulation is excellent with the windows closed. This is really nit-picking. But I say what I feel. And in no way would it ever put me off from going there again. It's really home from home.

The lodge was perfect in every way the owners introduced themselves and made sure we had all we needed they could not do enough the welcome basket was full of goodies from jam to bacon and eggs they really want to make you relaxed and chilled out from the minuite you arrive

Everything. The location is perfect, the lodge had everything you would need for a break away, and more! The welcome hamper was so thoughtful, we enjoyed every last bit! The host was super helpful and friendly. I would seriously book here again! We have family close by so may become a firm favourite for us when visiting.

The only problem was that we should have booked a few more days!! Perfect mini break!
