About this apartment rental

Elgin might have a hard, stony appearance when you look at its architecture, but there’s an altogether gentler side that makes this Moray town famous. In fact, very soft indeed – as soft as cashmere. This industry of luxury textiles is still apparent, with your very own stone house being just an eleven-minute walk from Elgin Mill. After purchasing a cosy jumper to see you through the Scottish winter, get comfy in this traditional home. Arrive in style with a private airport transfer arranged by your host, followed by a fridge full of goodies to get you started. Pour a tumbler of whisky and start exploring this vast home. With two lounges where you can put your feet up, you’ll be kept in the lap of luxury. We love the clean, minimalist interiors, with whites and light greys dominating the colour scheme. Nods to Scottish heritage come through with tartan throws in the bedrooms, but there’s a distinctly modern feel throughout. On rainy days, play chess in the sunroom. On bright afternoons, enjoy a picnic in the garden or patio. And on chilly nights, soak in the clawfoot tub after a homecooked meal from your private chef. Home truths: *Your host can help with restaurant and activity recommendations for free, but for a fee, they can also organise private tours, airport pickup, fridge fills, a private chef, and more *This home has its own private, main door entrance *You can park a car in the drive, and parking might be available on the streets nearby – in any case, Elgin train station is just a nine-minute walk *There is no dedicated workspace, but plenty of laptop-friendly workspaces such as the dining table *You'll need to be able to climb stairs to get around the home – it's worth noting that the twin bedroom is on the ground floor though *If you're bringing the little ones, a travel cot and high chair are available upon request
