A rainforest escape

It’s simply gorgeous…. Set amidst lush dense rainforest with a private pool and a backyard overlooking the forests . It’s an experience worth having! The host promptly responds to queries and the unit is completely self contained.

It would be great to have a door to the bathroom/ toilet … this was the only part we didn’t like

Serene location, close to all the Cape Tribulation hotspots

Everything about this properly enchanted us. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of wildlife outside and no unwanted visitors (we were worried about snakes) inside, thankfully. All of the property’s facilities were in great condition and we made good use of the outdoor BBQ and pool areas. All communication with our hosts was pleasant and friendly. Each room, including the bathroom, has views of the surrounding rainforest, however we still felt secluded and safe. The floor to ceiling views of the rainforest are incredible to wake up to each morning.

Fantastisch huis midden in het regenwoud

Het uitzicht op het regenwoud vanuit het huisje is geweldig. Het huis is compleet met een keuken met goede spullen, een wasmachine, zwembad en veranda. Het bed is zo gericht dat je in de ochtend wakker wordt en meteen uitkijkt op het regenwoud. Daarnaast was alles brandschoon.

Enige nadeel was dat er geen deur naar de badkamer was.

It’s the perfect place for a rainforest escape. You really are in the middle of it all.

It was perfectly located between all attractions, walks and grocery stores. The house is the perfect size and comfortable and the pool is beautiful. It was stocked with everything you needed for at home meals and a good washing machine.

The air flow wasn’t amazing and could have used a standing fan or two to allow for some air movement. The water pressure in the shower could be stronger.

Relaxation amongst the rainforest and musical wildlife.

The serene setting amongst the rainforest. The back deck and outlook from the living space is just so relaxing. The overall design and fittings worked well in this nature escape.

Exceptional

It's like having your own private oasis in the rainforest. The place has everything you need so you can chill out and enjoy the serenity from the deck or the pool or go out and explore the daintree. Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the forest is amazing!

Beautiful, Tranquil, Great location

The location was amazing, extremely tranquil and isolated in the forest, but still just a short drive to Diwan, Cow Bay and Cape Tribulation. It was fantastic to wake up and fall asleep to the sights and sounds of the forest. The main bed was very very comfortable, and Ryan also supplied us two camp beds which were also comfy. The bathroom was tropical with a great shower and hot water, and the kitchen was well equipped with good gas stove, also a very clean BBQ (which we didn't get around to using). My daughter absolutely loved the swimming pool. We didn't meet Ryan but his communication was excellent and check in was easy. We loved staying here and would definitely come back.

Keep in mind that the house is open plan, so be aware that privacy is limited if you are travelling in a group of friends. We recommend to book ahead if you want to eat out at a local restaurant - it can be hard to get a booking at short notice. We ended up going to the Lync Cafe at nearby holiday park, which was just OK. The kitchen and bbq in the house are great though, so stock up on food and prepare yourself a nice dinner at home!

Wonderful Serene Accommodation

Superb location close to all attractions. Felt like you were all alone in the rainforest. Wonderful location of bed looking out onto the rainforest. Great sleeping with the bifold doors open, listening to the sounds of the rainforest. Protection provided by strong secure screen doors. The house had everything we needed and lots of extra touches. Highly recommend.

A fantastic place for nature lovers. As a solo traveller needing peace and quiet this was perfect.

This was heaven for me. Idyllic, a place amidst a mighty rainforest. Quiet apart form the birds, insects and frogs. Clever construction of the home allows a direct fresh air sleep with mozzie protection and direct view from the bed into the forest. I felt replenished.

Magical

Location and accommodation was awesome. Falling asleep to the sounds of the forest was incredible, and the private pool an added bonus. Clean and comfortable, the property is obviously maintained with care. What a special place. Even more amazing than the photos.

A little piece of paradise

This was our second time staying at the property and it didn’t disappoint. The location is private and peaceful and it’s lovely to wake up to a beautiful view of the rainforest. Remember to bring some food to cook on the awesome bbq!

Exceptional

The most amazing location. Completely secluded in the rainforest. Everything was available for the perfect stay, well equipped kitchen, washing machine, wi-fi, netflix etc. Huge patio area to the rear and smaller one to the side looking into the rainforest. The entire property opens up to the rainforest, with secure flyscreens so you can sleep with the sounds of the wildlife - it's fabulous! Pool and Cabana are an excellent bonus! Waterfalls, frogs and flying foxes! I'd love to return. Exceeded my expectations

Don't leave lollies unattended at any time! - I accidentally ate more than my fair share of mini ants before realising - oops :)

Great location and amenities. Really liked the private pool. Totally lives up to its name, forest views are amazing. Well equipped kitchen with everything that you need. Perfect for a romantic trip with your partner. Would highly recommend.
