A WONDERFUL PLACE

An absolute Gem. From the moment we arrived till check out, the staff & owners could not do enough. Tea on arrival and a beautiful home cooked breakfast & a goody bag of cakes when leaving. It has a unique charm, with a country style throughout. It has a restaurant as part of the building which was busy with locals when we arrived tucking into lovely home cooked dinners. Centrally located in the town of Thurles and a short drive from " The Rock of Cashel" ( well worth the visit) and many other historical sites. Had a peaceful sleep and despite its central location traffic noise is minimal, so no worries if you are a light sleeper. My teenage son of 14 loved the place with the added bonus of good Wi-Fi. Plenty of little shops and a cinema in the town. The usual Dunnes & Lidl close by. Customer Service is forefront of this wonderful B & B. They know how to make a great experience even better. As the famous Hollywood actor said: " I'll be back"

A welcoming and heartwarming stay!

A lovely country house feel to this B&B yet it had all the modern conveniences needed for a short stay. Very quiet even though it was on quite a busy street. Was welcomed and well looked after throughout my stay. I will certainly stay here again if travelling to Thurles. I would recommend.

- The room was super cute and spacious, with both a queen and single bed, and ample walking space. - The staff were super lovely and welcoming, even offering to move their own car so we could park opposite overnight. - The included breakfast was HUGE and very, very delicious. - Located in the heart of Thurles, walking distance to everything.

Cozy, welcoming, friendly

I had a wonderful stay overall. The room was comfy and clean, the staff were all so friendly and the place had a wonderful happy atmosphere about it. It was clear from the amount of locals coming and going from the restaurant that Ryan's Daughter is a popular spot in the community.

We were made very welcome by our host James when we arrived. The room was lovely and cosy. The breakfast was very good. Located just off the main street and was in walking distance of pubs & restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Ideal for a short stay. Good value for money. Very comfortable and central.

I really liked how friendly the people running the B + B were. I also liked the location - very central. The decor and ambience was lovely. Beds very comfortable and little treats left for us on arrival were lovely. The adjoining cafe was also lovely.

would stay again as the staff food atmosphere is great .

The breakfast and lunch were fantastic and James and all the staff we met were really brilliant , it is old fashioned but it has a real charm to the place and I loved all the photos and odds and ends around it made it homely and cozy.

There hot water ran out very quickly so we had to keep waiting for it to heat up again for us all to get a shower and I always bring shampoo & shower gel with me but I forgot as we were rushing and there wasn’t any provided but in fairness James went out and bought some for us which was so kind

very clean family run B&B Gary was amazing.. fresh bottled water every day in our room.. also chocolate and crisps 😁 very close to town centre Thankyou Gary for being the best host 👍👍👍
