Nothing.
The room was very basic and very noisy. I will never stay there again. Felt very unsafe.

We didn’t get there, we booked paid and then when we was on our way they cancelled.

Everything we wanted!!

The room was clean
Wanting to contact the pub before our arrival I left messages on the pub’s mobile and sent an email, but received no response to either. There was nobody in Reception when we arrived and only a young lad working in the busy bar, and no other staff when we booked in. At first he said there were no rooms, and had to make a phone call to confirm we had a room booked. There was no food available evening or morning. There was no plug in the washbasin or bath, which we didn’t discover until we had undressed for bed. Although tea and coffee making facilities were available, there was only one mug. There were no curtains on the large window, and the vertical blinds were too long preventing them from closing as they should. The bedding, although appearing clean, had obviously seen better days and was well worn. All in all the room was excessively overpriced, around the price of a Premier Inn, but of a far inferior quality. A mistake I will not make again - I would recommend anybody considering staying here to steer well clear.

No real ALE.

I like the room and I like the location, but it was one of two things that could’ve done with a woman’s touch
There’s no plug for the bath. The toilet seat was welcome. There was no towel rail it been broken. I could’ve been a microwave outside in the hallway with no clothes for plug-in in your phone with USB modem and a welcome pack.

The room is bit small but for a single person it's fine. However had a nice bathroom with shower. Very tidy and clean. Had nice restaurants around.
The room is bit smaller. No wardrobe but had some hanger spaces. Location is not in the city with more access..

we were greeted in the bar by a lovely friendly young man
he took us to our room & showed us the breakfast room ( which we didnt know was included)
there was cereal fresh milk fresh juice & wrapped croissants
the room was beautiful & clean
and the bed very comfortable
tea & coffee making facilities on the bed side table
didnt like that the bins were right outside the hotel main door (its a pub and hotel)
someone banging & rattling the door for 15 mins at 1.30 in the morning

I thought the staff were nice, the room was comfortable and the bars up in widnes were excellent
It wasn't anybodys fault but the bank stopped my card halfway through my night because they didn't recognize me visiting this area,it sort of cocked my night up a bit because I had no money to do anything very much but will return because I don't blame halebank or the mersey view for what happened, I was exceptionally happy up until that point and looking forward to making a point of coming back again very soon

Help yourself breakfast upstairs, basic continental and choice of milk and juice. Advantage of self service was you can have your breakfast when it suits you.
Live music kept me awake, but such comfortable beds soon fell asleep when music stopped.

bed collapsed when i sat on it
why have a t v in room and no remote control asked at bar down stairs and nothing was sorted out

Ideally located for my business trip.
Breakfast room locked and no staff to ask at 09h15 so couldn't access the continental breakfast. Luckily the industrial estate had a food van. The room was very cold due to draughty windows and the heating on a one hour timer so I could leave it on. I woke up cold twice in the night. No chair so watched TV while sitting on the bed but couldn't recline as the TV was too low down. Website hadnt been updated and no food available in the evening.

I liked how clean it was and how reception was helpful. Person helped me with my suitcase. Room was nicely prepared and was enough heating to keep room warm with - 1 outside.
There was no spoons for breakfast, no teaspoons or forks and all knifes where dirty

convenient location, helpful and pleasant staff, spotlessly clean room.
My room was too hot, like a furnace- I turned off the radiator and slept with the window open but some kind of heating device behind the wall kept pumping out heat- would make great place to keep tropical lizards.

the price!
everything. the bar had an open mike night! the room has no heating and I had to get fully dressed mid night! the shower had a mind of its own and decided that day it was cold only!!

There was nothing to like except for the young lad working on the bar his customer service was excellent and couldn’t do enough to help when I complained about dirty bedding
everything and after I complained about the bedding I was then ignored at the bar by the female almost like a punishment for saying that the bedding was dirty! checked in at 6.15 to be told no food after 6 after a three hour drive! and nothing around to get food. there was no soap anywhere in the room to even wash your hands I’ve never seen this before in any hotel or bed and breakfast. 2 lamps in the room that didn’t work unless you had a usb charger and plug on you! Had to boil the kettle on the floor as there is only extension leads no sockets ! The heating was off it was freezing and there was an oil heater in the room which quite frankly wouldn’t heat a fish bowl bad experience overall

Very friendly staff, and excellent accommodation
