Trendy spot in a nice location, close to many restaurants and shops
There is no division between the bathroom area and the “bedroom” area. There are however, sliding doors for the bathroom area so at least you can release your bowels in private but to get naked in a shower you must be ok with others in the room needing to walk by and see your naked body in all its glory (definitely not an ideal situation for multiple couples or people with older than toddler children, like myself…..unless scarring your children for life if your goal).
That’s not the worst part though. It’s as if the hotel walls were built with only plywood. Even with our air conditioner blowing and our tv turned up to 18+, I could still hear the conversation our neighbor was having in the next room as if she was in our bathroom. That’s how loud it sounded. This neighbor wasn’t even speaking at a high volume. She was speaking completely normally yet because there is zero sound proofing at this hotel, be prepared to hear every sound from connecting rooms, including from up above (although I thoroughly enjoy gossip from complete strangers I doubt this person expected others to be able to hear her). Now imagine vacationing here with your children and your neighbor happens to be on their honeymoon…….
I ended up having to finally call the front desk at 1am because it sounded like a heard of wild elk had figured out how to enter the hotel, use the elevator, and book the room above us. Instead I was told it was a family with 5 children that had just booked the room (which may or may not be the fault of the hotels lousy soundproofing).
To summarize, I would definitely not book here again and had i spent 5 minutes reading other reviews I would have found out that others had already complained of the same thing….but I’m a stubborn a-hole and had to find out the hard way.
Don’t be me.

I liked how beautiful the hotel was and looked very relaxing and good vibes. have a shuttle that only goes 5 miles. right next to a great food restaurant and others surrounding. the room has a nice open layout.
the property is very nice but the hotel from my knowledge was just built not too long ago. the building needs major upgrades. my family was there for four days and was told from the beginning of check in that the room had ants and they were planning to move my family to another room but one of my family member does not take elevators and steps did not exist to go up to the other floors. staff said the steps are only existing as fire steps abs evacuation and a elevator is the only way to get up and down. my family decided to stay in the room provided as being said to have ants in the shower drains and the toilet area. The room was inspected and did indeed have ants but it was not a problem for my family and they were dead due to being sprayed and we just cleaned it up. further more the hotel did not offer extra blankets and pillows and was told that they do not have those extra items. room service did not change bedding and clean room daily and did not get daily toilet paper renewal or soap and etc. hotel also said no handicapped rooms were on the first floor of the hotel as what was requested and was only located on floors above that require elevators to be used ONLY. there was no iron or iron board located in the room nor a laundry bag. the pool was not clean and have cigarette buds in it and also other unnecessary dirt.

The Aloft was clean, beautifully decorated, situated close to the airport and close to shipping and restaurants. Tyler, who was working at the front desk was very professional and helpful. Flower, the bartender, was very professional and friendly.

Location was great & the rooms were spacious
Management & how thin the walls were. Between the hours of 2am-4:20am all we heard was the couple directly next door to us talking extremely loud and cursing. I didn’t want to call downstairs & file a complaint that early in the morning, to make it worse for my family and I. Just in case the staff would have called their room said something on the lines of “your neighbors are complaining”. At close 6am the neighbors above us allowed their dog and or child to constantly run, jump, stomp & drop things causing us to wake back up and remain up until they left a little after 8am. When I checked out I asked the pleasant young lady at the front desk if I could speak with the manager Ms. Youngblood due to the noises and disruptions we were subjected to & the manager refused to come out of the back leaving the young lady to advise me that I didn’t complain when it was happening. I explained I didn’t think it would have been a good idea just to avoid any repercussions behind it with the neighbors but I did have a few audio recordings of both matters which had time stamps on them. The rep went back to ask the manager to come speak with me & she refused again advising her to let her know she’s on a call & there is nothing she can do. She also sent another young lady out to see if we were still in the lobby waiting. Which we waited over over 20 mins for Ms. Youngblood to come out. During this time I found out there were several complaints filed about the noise on multiple occasions & not just the day were stayed. The front desk clerk tried for a 3rd time to ask the manager to come out which she refused again. Advising her to let us know since we booked through a 3rd party she can’t do anything. Although the main reason for her not coming out was being on a call she no longer was on. Regardless to if she could have done anything. What she should have done as a manager is come out as a courtesy explaining the matter & offered at least an apology.

It looks amazing and the location is good
Things kept getting mixed up and one woman at the front desk was very rude I think she was the manager (older woman, black, no taller than 5’6) however the other staff members were amazing.

I loved everything about the property.

quiet, clean
checkin person was not nice. my flight was late, so I called ahead to let them know, and they emailed to confirm late checkin. When I arrived, she said "no, you are a no-show" and that I was cancelled. I showed her the email and she rolled her eyes and said "they did this to me before" and acted very annoyed. what a bummer. But I did get a room, so it worked out.

convivence, location, very comfortable,
no food service
2.5 / 5.0
It's convenient to all of the restaurants and great shopping centers.
The room decor wasn't something I can get use too. The bed in the room needs a new mattress and the bathroom door was off track. One of the bed side tables needs a light bulb.

The location and staff
The walls are so thin we heard everyone walking above us and heard couples next to us having quality time with noises so we knew we had to talk low and move around soft because that mean people could hear us talking etc .
