We have been renting in PML every summer for 20+ years and this cabin has been our favorite.
Great location just minutes to the Marina and so much parking!
Updated kitchen, baths, mattresses, floors, lights, furniture & more.
The large 2-story cabin was perfect for our group of 7 w/ five 18yo boys. The boys had the lower level to themselves w/a pool table, mini fridge, TV, dart board, 2 rooms w/ 4 beds, full bath. The hot tub + fire pit on this level.
The main level is spacious w/ample seating, half bath, & long dining table. Kitchen has every necessity & appliances are easy to use. Love the XL island with more seating. Surprised to find lots of spices, condiments, garbage bags and detergent for our use.
We enjoyed the huge primary suite!
The main deck has plenty of seating, 2 tables to eat at, BBQ and a view of the trees.
Random things: when upstairs in the primary suite with the door closed, we couldn't hear the boys downstairs at all. That was great for all of us. All beds are comfortable, clean w/soft linens & lots of pillows. The AC cools down the house wonderfully. The window coverings in all bedrooms stopped the sun from ruining our sleep every morning. No ants or insects, no cobwebs or funky smells. Yay!
Interaction with the owner was delightful and prompt, which is very appreciated.
5 stars and we want to rent again.

Our entire family loved our trip! The house and it’s amenities were perfect for our family of four to enjoy games, grillin, chillin, and the hot tub after a long day at the lake/ marina. The distance to the marina is so short! The kids (and adults ) loved the lake! Catching a ride on the taxi and paddling a mini pontoon so the hubs could fish for Father’s Day were very enjoyable. Plus, hours of swimming in the lake to the dock in order to jump in was a highlight for our 8 year old! Both kiddos were completely sold on the soft serve cones at the marina…. Yummy! Thanks for sharing your house with us! We hope to be back!

We have the great weekend and Christmas. The cabin has everything you need for you stay. Nice neighborhood. I recommended. I'm planning to get it for summer. My family loved the place.

The 2-story cabin is great for 2+ families to have their own floors (rooms & bathrooms), and then great to come together at the big dining table upstairs! Having the pool table & hot tub were great extras.

Great location near Groveland. The home had everything you could need for an easy stay while traveling to Yosemite Valley and Hetch Hetchy.

Let me go through the review in bullet points to cover everything I noticed :
1. The host was very cordial, responsive and ensured we were all set.
2. Locality is convenient, good parking , nice open suroundings etc. I thought I read a lake view somewhere, but probably my mistake. The view from backyard was wonderful nevertheless :)
3. After staying there I felt the properties is good value for money, especially if you are utilizing it with full capacity for multiple days to make sure of everything on offer. As they were well setup , so could use them all.
Only glitch I noticed is there are only 2.5 bath, out of which only 1 at lower floor. So if you have full utilization of of lower floor beds, there is a bathroom contention :)
When we stayed it rained , and so upper deck was dripping natural water on lower deck, which is part of the whole setup. But considering the hot tub was right below it, we felt it might be risky to let that drop in the tub. So we waited a bit for it to dry before we use the tub. Probably we were a bit paranoid about safety and cleanliness of the tub, but shouldn't be an issue in rest of the season I guess.
4. Check-in / check out process was fairly straight forward , but we ended up having some confusion about the trash and Moore bros dumpster being suggested in instructions. Maybe the instructions can be improved a bit or I wish VRBO provided an ability to have custom instructions based on length of the stay. Because the trash bins next to the cabin are sufficient for any short term stay like ours. The dumpster only becomes relevant for anyone staying week long ... Etc.
5. I still consider groveland properties to be a bit expensive than what they should be , considering how long it takes to get to the valley.
Also, there is some $43 parking fee in this community which either is not sufficiently highlighted in the listing or is missing. Not a big deal. But ideally should be part of rental cost.
Nevertheless I recommend this cabin for stay. It's a nice place to stay :)

This was everything!
There was about 11 of us total. We were looking for an open concept; where we can still be together while some of us prepared meals. This spot was perfect and everything we could have asked for.
The hot tub was great, the deck offered relaxing unobstructed views of pine trees, while indoors offered cool air conditioned space to lounge about. We spent 1 day at the lake, we preferred the Lodge lake area. The grocery store is a short drive away. We witnessed many deers, birds, squirrels from the deck. It was a perfect getaway from the daily screen time. There's tons of activities indoors too; pool table, video games, game boards, but we preferred karaoke! Tons of beds to sleep on along with pull out bed downstairs, couches and extra air mattresses if you need it.
The host, Elaine, answered all my questions and was easy to communicate with.
We had the best time! Thank you Elaine!
