About this house rental

"Granite Getaway Cottage” has bright and airy rooms with an outside covered deck for enjoying your morning coffee! The deck has a gas grill for cooking out. There is a comfortable living room with large smart screen TV, DVD player, power recliner with massage option, and an electric fireplace unit for ambience or those chilly nights. The kitchen has a dining table or you can sit at the counter to eat your meals. Dual coffee maker with several coffees provided. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The bathroom has a large walk in shower with a detachable shower head. Queen mattress with comfortable linens and USB ports in the bedside tables in master BR. Two twin beds in opposite bedroom are comfy as well. All mattresses and box springs are fully enclosed for sanitation. There is a small crib available, baby gate, and umbrella stroller. There are laundry facilities if needed. Natural cleaning products used to clean and sanitize the home. Keyless digital smart lock with WiFi deadbolt.

Excellent stay! Clean and beautifully decorated located in the very small town of Granite Falls. Although the town is small, the house is located only a few miles from Hickory. If you enjoy shopping for furniture, this house is in a great location.

This home was so clean, and was so well thought out. The host had it beautifully decorated and extra items in case you forgot to bring them. She had a personalized sign on the front door welcoming us in, which was very thoughtful. The home was in a good neighborhood and easy to find. It also had a very nice covered patio if you just wanted to sit outside. We would definitely rent this one again if we were ever in the area again. Thanks again to the host for taking pride in your rental property.

Peggy and Earl's home was just perfect for our dance competition at the Broyhill Civic center. Home has been gorgeously remodeled and the farmhouse chic decor was right up our alley. I was so thankful we chose this home over a hotel as I was later told by friends the hotels were pretty awful. Both check in and checkout were simple and easy and it truly felt like home away from home. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone needing to stay in the Lenoir area!!!

We had a great Thanksgiving visit with our daughter and family who live in Granite Falls. This cottage was a peaceful respite after full days with kids and family. The home has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Easy check in/out procedures and the host were responsive to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this home!

Spent the weekend for a Christmas pageant in Hickory and a girls weekend with my granddaughter and just a weekend away to take a breath. This house was the perfect place. It was so cute and cozy and all the cozy comforts. I always said I'm home when I hear the tea kettle whistle and she had one so I was right at home. Anything I forget they had it. Can't wait to stay again. Will definitely be taking more time outs at this house.

We were in Hickory for a swim meet and had special requests of the host. She was very understanding and helpful. The house was just what we needed for rest and quietness around the early morning and late nights events of the Swim Meet. It is an easy drive up from Hickory.

This home is a well outfitted 2 BR cottage with everything that is needed. We were looking at homes in the area and this location worked well for us. There is a beautiful flower garden in the front yard that attracts birds.

We needed a place to stay while visiting my Aunt and Uncle. This little house was the perfect choice. The cleanliness, decor and attention to detail of this property is amazing! The neighborhood was very quiet, which for someone like me who hears every noise made for a very comfortable stay. It was everything we could ask for and much more!

The home was nicely decorated and furnished for a very comfortable experience. Careful consideration of every detail has been well thought out. Upgrades to the kitchen, bathroom and wood floors were perfect. Easy entry to the property and well stocked provisions for snacks and coffee are a nice touch. Will definitely be back!

Perfect location to Lenoir and Hickory. This cottage is the perfect size for a family of four. It is sparkling clean, bright and welcoming. Really felt like a vacation getaway! Quite location and so convenient to so many things. The beds are very comfortable. WiFi is lighting fast according to my teenagers! We will certainly be back and will recommend this rental to anyone needing a place in the area. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

This home was so perfect! The quiet neighborhood, along with the beautiful decor and atmosphere was enough to make us want to stay forever. The home was supplied with everything we needed during our stay, and communication with the property owner was fast and convenient. Perfect spot for our one year old daughter since the crib was included!

Great location if you are planning to visit Blue Ridge Parkway or Blowing Rock Little disadvantage: no dishwasher and cutting board (at least we didn’t find it) Cottage is super clean. Beautiful Christmas decorations ☺️ We would love to come back! Thank you

Such a cozy place. My favorite is that the host takes the time to add special touches to the property and always happens to provide small things that I forget to pack. Would gladly stay again!
