The property was second to none horse bay living did a fantastic job making sure I was prepared for check in and out. Before I even got to the property I knew I was in good hands. I was regularly texted updates about the property fun things to do in the area where to rent boats ect. MJ was the assigned manager of the property she did a wonderful job and was super responsive. Iook forward to booking with them many more times in the future.

I took a mens college golf team to Kingsland for a tournament. The location of the house on a channel made it fun for the guys. The house has kayaks and paddle boards as well as a great game room and the largest jacuzzi I have ever seen. Great time. Great hostess.

Beautiful home and incredibly responsive host. I use VRBO often and issues are expected. This host was amazing to work with. The pool heater wasn’t responding and they fixed it within minutes of reaching out. Some of the TV remotes wouldn’t work due to weak batteries and they had them replaced very fast. Would book the home again and any home under this management company.

The location has a very pleasant feel about it. A row of big houses on both sides of a little water body. Almost all of them have big backyards, beautiful lighting. The property is very spacious and has all the utilities needed. We were 3 families with kids from 5-11 and there was something for everyone to do. The last bit of drive into the neighborhood is not super pleasant but when you get to the houses it is all worth it. Highly recommend as an escape away for families and friends alike. HEB is 10 mins away.

This property was perfect for our family. Very close proximity to the lake. The kids used the supplied paddle boards to fish from and paddle to the lake. Water in the pool stayed cool in this heatwave and we did not want to leave. Plenty of activities to choose from with the foosball, pool table, ping pong, kayaks, etc!! Will definitely book again!

Stayed here with extended family. Very nice house that is well set up with everything you need. The pool is great and it's fully shaded starting about mid afternoon which is great in this summers heat.
Good access to the lake and up on the upper end of the Colorado leg so the water is much cooler.
We had our boat and it ties up conveniently to the bulkhead.
They note in the house description but don't miss that you have to cross under a low bridge to get between the house and the lake. We fit under with our ponton boat with the top down. If you have a hard rack ski boat you won't fit unless you can collapse it.
Anyway, great family home and really enjoyed it.

This property was a perfect base for our two family Christmas vacation visiting Enchanted Rock and Longhorn Cavern. The property manager was quick to respond for any needs we had before and during our stay. The beds were comfortable and the property had plenty of entertainment for the kids and adults when the weather outside wasn’t ideal. We would love to come back when the weather is warmer to enjoy all of the water activities on the property and in the area.

Peaceful location
Perfectly located for a relaxing weekend. The house was clean and stocked well with all items necessary for cooking a meal. Plenty of entertainment from ping pong to paddle boards. Bed was super comfy too! Just what we needed for a girls weekend!

Beautiful (!!) but serious appliance issues
Overall, the house and all the outdoor areas were beautiful. This rental has lots of appeal. We were very satisfied with the layout and amenities. However, there were some serious issues with some appliances. Kitchen Refrigerator - We arrived on Tuesday afternoon, loaded our already-cold groceries from our coolers into the refrigerator where they stayed all through Tuesday night. At 1pm on Wednesday, we realized the inside of the refrigerator was not properly cooling. The contents and the shelves were barely cool. We reported the problem; someone showed up Wednesday afternoon and told us to give it some more time to cool. It didn’t begin to cool, so we called again, and received a text message that a repair person would not be able to come until Thursday afternoon. So, we had to keep all of our coolers close to the kitchen, refill all of them with many bags of ice (at our own expense), and move our food from the refrigerator back into the coolers. We also realized our frozen foods were thawing in the freezer. The repairman arrived Thursday afternoon and had to melt away ice that was completely covering the evaporator coils. He said the defrost feature of the freezer was not working because a control board had failed. Seems like this problem should have already been known and repaired prior to our arrival. The refrigerator was finally working by Friday evening (the day before our checkout). Also, when the freezer was working, it made ice very slowly, and when dispensing ice, it made an abnormally loud grinding noise that could be heard throughout the house. Garage Refrigerator - Upon our arrival, we plugged in the garage refrigerator but it kept blowing the GFCI. We subsequently learned that it was known that the compressor is bad. With the nearly 100 degree weather during our stay, it sure would have been helpful if that refrigerator had been available for our groceries. It also It also seems unimaginable that this appliance would be left unusable, especially in light of central-Texas temperatures and the number of guests this property is advertised to be able to accommodate. Gas Grill - Not only was the gas grill filthy when we went to use it, but even after we cleaned the cooking grates, the accumulated grease in the tray below the cooking grates started to flame-up out of control, even with all the gas knobs turned all the way off. The grill was unusable to us in a safe manner.

We had a wonderful time. The only thing was that when we arrived the lower pool was full of grass, the pool co. came out within a few hours to clean it. We could not turn the pool lights on the management had to turn them on remotely. After contacting them the lights where turned on for the first 2 nights but not our last night. having to call to turn on lights seems ridiculous

Great Mother’s Day getaway
My family and I had a great time during our stay. The home was clean, updated and spacious. Loved that every bedroom has a connecting bathroom. It was extremely convenient to have 3 bedrooms down. The pool was awesome! We customized our stay by adding in a private chef for brunch both days. Truly made this feel like a private resort getaway. And it was easy to arrange with the property manager. The only issue was the television connection in one of the bedrooms didn’t work and that never got resolved during our stay. Overall recommend!

Easter family memories to last a lifetime!
We booked this gorgeous home to celebrate our family Easter. I can not say enough wonderful things about this home and the amazing staff at Horseshoe Bay Living. There was nothing I would complain about. From the moment I made the reservation, all the way until we left and got back home. The team took care of us and made sure all of our expectations were met.
To tell you a little about our group. It was my family of 4 (2 kids under 12) and my sister's family of 4 (2 kids under 12) and my parents that are in their 70's. My dad uses a walker and we appreciated that this house had accommodations that were easily accessible for him. To quote my mom "Grandparents can relax and watch their grandkids swim in the pool or can sit in the game room and watch a lively ping pong match. The highlight was our grandkids catching 17 fish down by the canal."
Yes, this house had it all! Enough space to spread out. It was AMAZINGLY clean!!!! I am a picky person about this with the homes I book on vrbo and this one was honestly the cleanest I have stayed in from top to bottom! The pool was beautiful and I loved siting out there listening to the waterfalls run. The kids LOVED that we could go right out the back door and fish from our backyard. And the pool table with ping pong top was the icing on the cake!
Thank you for making our family Easter 2022 trip so memorable. My kids are already asking when are we going to that lake house again! I highly recommend this home and booking with Horseshoe Bay Living!

This place was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 14 people. The pool is large enough for a small-medium sized group and can be heated. Property management was easy to get a hold of and very attentive. Amazing service and a wonderful experience!

The house was very clean like you are in a hotel, host was quick to respond to my questions, the only thing I didn’t like much but ok with it is that you will be charged for heating the pool which I didn’t know
Overall amazing experience, make sure to let the host know if you want the pool to be heated because it needs 12hr to be in good temperature.
