It was difficult to get to the house by GPS, it keeps re routing due to lack of WiFi. You almost need 4 wheel drive to get there. When we found the house, we got inside & the floors were not swept well, hot tub stunk like mildew. The house sounds big but it was small, can hear everything. The game room did not have a game system like it said in the description.

Spacious, gorgeous setting, and super fun for the kiddos. We enjoyed our stay and spent lots of time exploring the area, sitting on the porch and around the fire, and watching the kids play in the game room. Highly recommend for those with kids ages 5+.

Although the cabin was smaller than I envisioned, it still accommodated our family. The property owner was prompt to respond to any questions. There were seventeen of us packed into this cabin. We turned the sunroom into a bedroom. We accumulated a lot of trash with paper plates, etc. The owner arranged for extra trash pick-ups for us. Also, we had a bear and her three cubs visit. So, there are bears in the area.

Property was just as described. Only downside is there no real dining room with seating for a large group. Super private property with a decent sized hill to park. Owner addressed all our concerns immediately and was fantastic with communication. Upstairs sunroom gets super warm during the day but has a great view. Well stocked house with just about anything you could possibly need for a kitchen.

We spent my husband's 40th birthday weekend here and it was the perfect getaway. Beautiful secluded home with everything we needed. We really appreciated the views from the sunroom, and the games provided. Was way too wet for a fire, but we still got to enjoy the outdoors from the covered hot tub. We would love to stay here again.

My family of 9 enjoyed our stay at Smoky Ridge. We had plenty of room to spread out and the kids enjoyed the basement area. Everyone had a good time playing shuffleboard upstairs. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was mostly clean. The downstairs restroom smelled of urine - like an unclean floor around the toilet. There were some concerns with the staircases as the treads seemed very narrow - my whole size 8 shoe didn't fit on them. There is no handrail to the basement and it seems a little questionable at times. The screen doors need to be replaced and 4 of the red Adirondack chairs arms are put on the wrong side, while the other 2 are correct. It's true that there is only one small dining table but there are several TV Tray Tables that worked well for us to eat on. Bedroom and bathroom doors do not have doorknobs and do not latch. They have a sliding lock you have to use if you want them to stay closed. One major concern was the water - it smelled like rust or metal and none of us could drink it. We chose to buy several gallons of water to use for cooking and drinking. We knew something wasn't right from the stains in the toilets and bathtubs. I didn't address it with the owner while we were there because I don't believe it to be an easy fix. A couple of easy things that the owner quickly addressed was the lack of dish towels and an empty propane tank on the gas grill. Communication was quick and responsive.

The drive up to the cabin was a big surprise and a little scary at first. Even though there isnt a big dining area the host provides plenty of seating and tv tables to use. Great area!
Big plus is even with 11 people we never ran out of hot water!

We stayed December 1-3 2023. Beautiful home and location. The house was NOT clean. Floors needed swept before we could let the kids down to play. 2 of the toilets still had waste in them. Didn’t even bother to flush them let alone clean them. Beds had hair all in them and pretzels( we didn’t bring pretzels). Bottom of hot tub was nasty. Nothing had been dusted. Found socks under 1 bed. I contacted the owner, he promptly replied and offered to send someone. But we had already did what needed to be done. So he offered a refund on the cleaning fee. It’s now December 14th and I am still NOT refunded the cleaning fee. I had to contact costumer service to even get a reply message. Then that message was only to tell me he was waiting on pictures from his cleaning lady. I’m hoping to get the situation taken care of soon. If the home was clean, I would highly recommend it. But unfortunately one doesn’t know that when booking. Once we got things cleaner, we enjoyed our family vacation.

Beautiful cabin, clean, located near all attractions. Hot tub did not work but owner was quick to get it checked out. Quiet and private!! Stuff to do for all ages, pool, bowling table, game consoles, fire ring. I didnt hear "im bored" once!!! Had ages 15,14,13,12, and 2!!!

My friends and i thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. It offers a lot of space to hang out indoors with activities like pool, games, etc. All while being secluded away from neighbors which allowed us to enjoy the deck, hot tub and fire pit areas.
The house was clean and offered plenty of things like coffee, cooking utensils and towels.plenty of sleeping areas to accommodate a large group. Top bunks may not hold larger adults.
The host was quick to respond to our questions leading up to the trip and wven offered suggestions of things to do in the area as well. We would definitely stay again.

It wasn't clean at all there was garbage under the beds behind everything the airfilters were so full air flow was not getting through. Two of the beds down stairs in the bunkbeds had big pee stains in them and one of them were dirty. Our bedroom door was broke to where we couldnt even latch it shut. the hottub yuck i drained it and you could tell no one has cleaned the bottom filter the main one it was so discusting and caked and you could tell its never been cleaned half of the jets didnt work you should maybe invest in a steam cleaner and maybe someone new to clean cause they don't do it right at all. steam cleaners are the best thing to have for cleaning hottubs i steamed and cleaned it out and when i put clean water in it. It was so bad that it just brung up all the nasty old stuff cause you could tell no one has cleaned it the bottom filter is the most impoartant one to clean out. After i cleaned it all the jets started working. If you don't clean that out it could blow your motor so you are welcome. If i lived there i would love to work for you and clean your cabins for you i would get you a 5 star rating everytime. Most important complaint i have is the camera inside the living room not okay that you can't even tell its a camera your not even allowed to do that. Was not happy at all. Cameras outside that's acceptable not inside invading privacy and creeped me out!

Nice little family getaway. We loved that it was so secluded and mostly quiet. Could use some minor repairs but overall it was clean, well stocked, and cozy! It was nice to turn off the electronics and just enjoy spending time together. Host was very nice.

We had a group of 14 of us ranging from 5-65 and we all had a blast. There were 7 kids total and the bunk area/game room was a hit. The hot tub/fire pit area was great at the end of the night. We did a grocery pick up right when we got into town and that was perfect as once we got to the cabin we realized we were only going to leave once a day as it’s pretty secluded with windy roads. We cooked all breakfast/supper at the cabin and there were plenty of dishes to use for cooking. The charcoal grill was easy to use as well. The communication was great and WiFi was hit or miss, but it was a great weekend. Thank you for having us!

When we arrived, there had been a mix up and the cleaning staff had not cleaned our cabin. I reached out to contact the owner and he immediately contacted them and had them on their way quickly. We went out to dinner and returned to a clean, beautiful cabin. Michael also waived the cleaning fee to make things right for our delay in enjoying the cabin.
The location is very private and relaxing, yet it is very close to Pigeon Forge attractions. There is lots of sleeping space and bathrooms to accommodate lots of guests. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, corn hole and beautiful outdoor sitting areas in the evening and morning. Our stay was complete when we were able to sit on the porch and watch a mama bear and two cubs play in the woods nearby as we enjoyed our morning coffee.
We would definitely stay here again! Michael was helpful and quickly responsive and the location was perfect.

We completely enjoyed our stay. Upon arriving we noticed a few minor things that needed addressed so we called the owner and he was right on it. The next day a maintenance man was there and fixed everything. We were able to use the fire pit, jacuzzi, the game room and extras that the owner had for his guest. The cabin is at the end of the road and secluded. We felt like we were at our own oasis. We were not far from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and The Smokey Mountain National Forest where we took many pictures of bears and beautiful wildlife. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away for a family vacation

This space worked perfectly for my family and extended family. It is definitely secluded down a long driveway, but we loved that about it. The hot tub was great, but some of the jets didn’t work. My only advice is that if you have a large family like mine, you will probably want to bring bigger pots to cook in. We made breakfast and almost all of our dinners there and the pots weren’t very big. We all loved the shuffle board on the second floor! We spent hours playing it! Might even buy one! The owner was always very reachable and answered all questions quickly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Overall our trip was amazing. The house stunning and very accommodating, the hot tub needed some cleaning but it wasn’t anything that made us feel the house was not listed properly. We loved everything about the property and would one hundred percent stay again!

My experience in this cabin was a good one overall. The only thing I wish could have been better was the hot tub being fixed when the owner said it would be fixed. I found out the hot tub was out of order the day I traveled to the cabin, and the owner informed me that he had someone coming out the next day to fix it, and that did not happen. This was the only downfall outside of this everything else was good.

Our family took a trip to honor a family member who passed away from cancer in 2018. It was his wish to see the Great Smoky Mountains before he passed in which he never made it to see. Our family decided to take a trip in his honor. The cabin was perfect in every way for our family to celebrate the life lost! Very clean and the private setting made the trip so enjoyable! Definitely recommend this location to anyone with a large family needing room for everyone!

This was our Christmas present to the kids this year. We had a fantastic time. The cabin was just like it was shown on line. The cabin was very clean. The host got back to us when we had questions. If we rent a cabin again in Pigeon Forge it will most like be this one. We loved our stay.

We enjoyed our stay, however the spotlight at the bottom of outside stairs was not working, if it was we couldn’t figure it out, we had to use our cell phone flashlight it made things challenging to see to get up the stairs if you had your hands full, when we returned to the cabin in the evening. The outside light right by the door was flickering as well.

Enjoyed every minute of my stay
We had our 1st family vacation with all the kids and grandkids. Communication with the property manager was easy and he responded very quickly. The property is very secluded and quiet. It has a hill on the driveway which was no problem and parking for 4 vehicles.the grandkids had a great time. We would stay there in a heartbeat! You will not be disappointed.
