It was great.

To start off, the owners were amazing. I sent several messages before we arrived and during our stay and they were very responsive. You can tell they absolutely love this house and want anyone who visits to love it too! They provide so much history about not only the area you are staying in, but the house itself and it just made the house feel so cozy. The pictures don't show you how cute this house is, it was so much more than we expected and we're already taking about making another trip in the area just so we can start here again. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay within a good 30-45 minute radius. Our main adventure while staying was 30 minutes away, and if we had to do it again, we'd pick to stay here again and make the 30 minute drive. One of the best rentals we've ever stayed at!

We stayed over the weekend for a Spartan race. The first interaction with the host was letting us know the home was ready to check in early. Then there was some communication about the house. Each contact point was amazing. The home itself was full of history and beautiful staged. I can’t wait to book this home again.

Very adorable older home in neighborhood close to many restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed our stay. The master bedroom was very comfortable
But the one bathroom was attached to it so anyone in the smaller bathroom had to walk through our bedroom. As a couple, it was perfect. For the extra room, the beds were a bit small. Even so, we really enjoyed the decorations and history of the house. Dale was easy to communicate with and I thought of everything.

We absolutely loved our stay here. All of the extra amenities made our stay great. There was even a walker for our 10 month old that basically saved our day! The house is very charming with a great location close to the interstate and to Lagoon. Communication with the host was also 5 star! Thank you guys so much!

I stayed with my sons here at a visit to Lagoon. The location is great with a very friendly host who made sure we were looked after. For a short boys trip like my stay or a quick getaway for a couple (I imagine too) you can't beat the value here.

The rich history of this house was very evident in the home!
The host was very accommodating!
Loved that it was very well equipped for cooking. Other places we have stayed, never have the staples needed to prepare meals.
Would stay here again.

This was a darling little house, kind of like staying in a museum. Lots of history here, I loved the little book that gave the history of the house. Hosts are very generous with accommodations, offering lots of extras including souvenirs. Beds are very comfy. Really just a beautiful property. We loved how close it was to Lagoon.. I would definitely recommend!!

Loved the charm of this old home and loved reading about the history of the home. It had everything we needed…plenty of linens, towels, spices, pots & pans, games etc. The location cannot be beat. Was so nice to go to Lagoon at opening…once it got miserably hot we went back to the house, had a late lunch, took a nice nap and went back to the park early evening. Gas, groceries, great dining, amazing shopping are all within 5 minutes. We had a great weekend here.

This historic home was perfect for our needs. Our family of five slept well in the gorgeous King bed, the three bunk beds, and on the pull-out sofa and the large living room. It was a wonderful experience of a culture lived several generations ago.

The place is so beautiful! They also provide just about everything you could possibly need and then some, I was blown away by the accomodations. The home feels so inviting and cozy, great home away from home.
Wifi was an issue but the router is in the bunk bed room and just has to be reset and then it works fine... future fyi.

My son and I stayed here for a soccer camp and this property did not disappoint. Comfortable beds, clean property, well stocked amenities, and the kindest host family! The location was less than 1 mile away from Lagoon and just under two miles to Farmington’s soccer complex. Couldn’t ask for better! I will stay here again in the future!

This house has a lot of history. It was built in 1882. Yet the added on bathroom is modern, original kitchen has been modernized, and there is central air conditioning. Because the bathroom is an add-on, the ceiling is lower than the other rooms. My husband is 6‘4“ and he couldn’t stand up straight in the bathroom. I’d say 6‘2“ max. He also kept hitting his head as he entered the bathroom. He’d forget to duck. I thought this was hilarious!
The house has everything you need including lots of big fluffy towels. And it’s in a great location in Farmington. 20 minutes north of Salt Lake City, 30 minutes from Snowbasin,

We needed a place between SLC and Layton and this was convenient to both and easy to find from the freeway. We loved the hens in the yard and enjoyed time on the back patio and front porch. It was clean and check in/check out was super easy, we'd stay here again.
