We had a great experience staying at Ray’s property. He was a wonderful host- communicated well throughout our stay, and even sent a great list of recommendations before we arrived. I would definitely stay again. The yard was beautiful, home nicely furnished, beds comfortable, and plenty of extra bedding if needed. The only (very nit picky) negative is the storage closets were a little aged/moldy smelling so someone with extreme allergy sensitivity to that would just need to be aware. (We have one kid who reacts to this, so just trying to help those with medical issues in the future to have adequate information prior to booking) Ray was a great host, and I wish more could be as proactive and responsive. Our family reunion weekend was so much easier with this home available to us!!

A Nature Filled Getaway

We loved our stay at the Windham house. This Bavarian styled home had a modern rustic charm, with spacious rooms, a comfortable couch with a huge smart TV, soft fluffy beds that you can luxuriously sink into, a small den downstairs with another smart TV and laundry, two full baths (upstairs and downstairs), loads of natural light, full kitchen with all the amenities you need, dining table for 6 and a fireplace to cozy up to (the host gave us an ample amount of wood for both inside and outside the home). Step outside and a beautiful forest stands at the edge of the backyard. Luscious green grass, gardens, a spacious deck with a table for 6, an easy-to-use hot tub and a firepit. It was wonderful watching the stars at night as we soaked in the hot tub, chatting around the firepit, being visited by two lunar moths, waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and being lulled to sleep by the hoot of an owl outside our bedroom window. A truly relaxing stay that had my sister singing “Oh What a Beautiful Morning” when we ventured to have coffee on the front deck. Our host Ray provided us with a huge list of places to eat and visit and was very responsive when questions arose. We were a little sad to leave when our time to check-out came. I highly recommend this home and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Secluded serenity just a stone's throw from lots of activities!

This Windham house is an ideal spot whether you are looking for an active, outdoorsy weekend OR just a relaxing stay. It is clean, modern, nicely decorated and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the modern kitchen, sizable dining area, hot tub, indoor fireplace and big backyard with fire pit and BBQ, and appreciated the generous amount of fluffy pillows, towels and blankets throughout the house. The property is very private in a secluded, woodsy niche, yet an easy drive to many conveniences and activities such as ski resorts, state parks, swimming holes and water parks. We would definitely come back!
