Stayed last 4 nights of 12 day Pacific NW trip. House was perfect. Loved its history! Ideal location for ONP.
Clean, comfortable, well furnished. We were lacking for nothing!

Very comfortable, very quiet, we were pleasantly surprised, did some national Park trips and along the coast. Enjoyed.

Pros: Check in/out process was easy. Very close to the National Park.
Cons: The water pressure wasn’t the best and the shower head pointed every way but on you. This can be easily fixed though.

It was a small old fashion 2 bedroom house. Badly needed yard work should be done. The place is in need of being updated. They have overlooked the safety issues that exist in the house. The patio was dirty, really wasn't useable. The location was great being close to city center. Key to garage was hard to find.

The description and reviews did a pretty good job describing the rental. If you want to be in downtown Sequim, and you don't care too much about amenities, this is an okay place. It is a no frills rental with just what you need. In our case the place served as a place to cook eat and sleep. We were out of the house rest of the time. It is obviously and older house, and the photos and reviews does not try to hide that fact. Nevertheless, we thought it was clean and fairly comfortable for its size. The one thing that needs to be improved are the pots and pans. The one frying pan is a lightweight scraped up Teflon or Teflon like pan. The other pots were a bit better but not by much. We did not cook in them, except to boil water in one of the small pots. Even if the pans were better, the small kitchen makes it difficult to prepare a full meal. The latter worked out for us, as we mainly ate salads and cooked meats we brought from home. The stove burners needed some cleaning, but that is an easy fix, and I believe the owners will take care of that. So bottom-line, if you are not real picky, if you just want to use the place to relax in, if you are going to be out most of the time, the place is a good choice, we would go back.

The cottage is wonderful, comfortable and very peaceful even though it’s right in town. Tons of fluffy towels, good bedding and a complete kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay in this special place. Watching the hummingbirds in the lilac bushes each morning was a joy!

This is a little but of a funky place, with lots of little "old" fixtures and things, but it was very clean and cozy, and the beds were incredibly comfy. We would have like to have had more coffee (not decaffeinated) and sugar available, but fortunately the grocery store was not far at all, so we made do. We would gladly stay again. Thank you!

We were there for a couple of weeks, and it felt a lot like a second home. Comfortable, cozy, quiet neighborhood. Good wifi, which was important for working.
When we got there the back door was standing open. It can be a little bit hard to close, so somebody must have given up. On about day three, we had an ant invasion, and found a sticky honey bottle far back in a cupboard that was the attraction. Thorough cleaning solved that problem.
Car port light was burnt out.
Would use this home again, but would recommend that the manager spend some time as a guest without letting anyone know in order to see the little things that get missed in readying the place for guests.

A nice, very small but efficiently-laid out house with a huge yard full of trees and wildlife. A covered patio right off the kitchen. Quiet neighborhood and centrally located in Sequim. A very pleasant stay.

This location was for the most part as described. Beds were fairly comfortable and kitchen was stocked with various cooking devices. The property had lots of character which we enjoyed but if you are looking for a newer property this isn't a good choice. The pictures make it look pretty roomy but it is a VERY small home with VERY small rooms. It was not comfortable for 4 adults to hang out in. The twin bed is fairly short. I am 5'6" and I barely fit. It has walls on both ends so your feet cannot hang off the side. There is a small dining table that seats only 2. There was a neighbors dog that barked pretty much anytime we were on the property during the day but no barking at night. It was obvious when we were inside because there is no AC so we always had the windows open to cool down. I did not notice this in any of the other reviews so hopefully it isn't common. Also, you are required to strip the beds and start the washer with the first load before you check out. The washer is is out in a detached building. During nice weather this wasn't too much hassle. You also have to clean the whole kitchen, not just dishes and take out the trash. This is not described in the posting which I found a little annoying. Especially as pricey as the location was.

The little house was quiet, cozy and functional. We left a note suggesting they add brighter and more reading lights in the living room and bedroom. It would have been more convenient if the door off the carport opened with the key we were given, rather than going around in through the kitchen. Although the advertisement said two bedrooms, there was not enough space for four adults. Two adults with maybe a third compatible person in the very small twin bed would have been plenty for the small space. But our stay was very pleasant. Should do it

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Polly's Cottage. After spending two incredible nights in the Cottage, I feel like I know who Polly was! Lots of treasures, decor, and art from the 70's, but with fresh and updated features. Cottage was VERY clean, zero dust anywhere. Kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffee maker and two packs of delicious coffee. Plenty of dishes, pans, and basic kitchen stuff. Fridge is small, but spotless and works fantastic. Beds were comfortable, individual heaters in every room make climate control easy. Bathroom had plenty of new fluffy towels. There are three smart tv's, although we only used the one in the living room. Fast and reliable wifi. Plenty of off street parking. Location was GREAT! On a quiet, small, road centrally located only a few short minutes from downtown. Check in/out was simple. Very large backyard with lots of cool stuff to look at. Highly exceeded all of my expectations and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

This was great spot to land while I was in town for meetings.

The property was wonderful, except poor heating, grateful there was several space heaters! Did not like that the expectation was for us to self-serve on the trash, dishes, and laundry. Going somewhere is about being served, not doing chores we already do at home., this is what a vacation is about i feel.

A rustic cabin with a '60s vibe, in a quiet, rural-like setting but only blocks from downtown Sequim. Charming photos and travelogue literature from years past give a sense of history. A small home but spotless and comfortable and surprisingly well-stocked. Soft bed, lots of blankets, pillows, linens, and towels and everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking and serving.

The process of renting, staying and checking out we’re top notch. As we spent most of our time out hiking during the day we didn’t want to spend a tremendous amount on a place to lay our heads. This fit into our budget. It had a good location and it was super clean. The kitchen was well stocked so we didn’t have to spend a lot of time eating out. There were many grocery stores and restaurants close by we needed them.Quaint without a lot of modern updates we still found it more than adequate for our needs. The check-in and checkout process was super easy. All in all we had a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. It's within walking distance to downtown and in a quiet street. The bed was very comfortable, and it met our needs well.

The book that was left for us was very helpful. We loved the story of Polly and the history behind the cottage.

Enjoyed having a separate room for the young one, so everyone can get quality sleep.
