About this house rental
Great downtown location with A/C and within easy walking distance of City Boardwalk Beach and the heart of downtown and mid-town! Vintage charm. Light-filled and spacious. Beautiful backyard with fire pit and pool/ping pong game room. Outstanding value, especially in off-peak months. Large monthly discounts. One of the best larger VRBO locations for Ironman, near the transition area and finish line.
“Holladay Road CDA” is a perfectly located, Garden District-adjacent charmer near the heart of both downtown and mid-town Coeur d'Alene. We are an easy 5 minute walk to 4th Street ("Midtown"), with amazing restaurants, ice cream, a grocery store, and vintage shops, and an 8 minute stroll to iconic Sherman Avenue (“Downtown”), including The Coeur d’Alene Resort, City Boardwalk Beach, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, galleries and more! Fort Sherman Playground in City Park and McEuen Park, both great for kids, are 7 and 10 minute walks, respectively.
At Holladay Road CDA our goal is to provide you with a luxury holiday experience and your home away from home. Our open, light-filled, four-bedroom home has everything you need for a wonderful Coeur d'Alene vacation.
The inviting porch and swing welcome you to Holladay Road CDA — perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning or enjoying lemonade on a warm summer afternoon!
As you enter the spacious bungalow, you will enjoy the beautiful furnishings and clean open space.
The living room and adjacent sitting room provide a large flat screen TV and lots of comfortable seating, with a large couch and several oversized chairs to visit with friends and family, play a board game, watch a movie or curl up with a good book!
There are two downstairs bedrooms (each with a queen bed), along with a bathroom that includes a shower.
The full kitchen includes high-end appliances, a full coffee bar with Nespresso machine, frother and a regular coffee pot, and a wet bar. Other kitchen amenities include a Ninja blender, toaster, tea pot, crock pot and waffle maker.
There is an additional powder bath off the kitchen.
The backyard is accessed through French doors off the kitchen. We have a deck which includes a sitting area and six person dining table in the late spring, summer and early fall, as well as adirondacks and a tiki fire pit on the lawn to relax and enjoy s'mores. Cornhole and bocce ball on the lawn also make for festive summer days and evenings
Our garage conversion to a game room includes a 7ft pool/ping pong table, which is great for the kids to hang out or to enjoy a game or cards.
Upstairs, the master includes a king bed, sitting area and a large bathroom, including a separate shower and jetted tub. Also upstairs is a “bunk room” with four twin beds, as well as a connecting loft with a pullout sofa and smart TV.
CDA experiences occasional summer heat waves and staying cool in 100+ year old homes can be challenging. We have installed central a/c to cool the downstairs and upstairs master, and a portable unit in the bunk room. While the home should maintain low- to mid-70s or cooler during 100 degree weather, the loft with the sofabed may run a few degrees warmer during the hottest parts of the day.
Other Notes:
You will be provided with a code for keyless entry. You'll have access to the entire home, game room and back yard, with the exception of the owner’s supply room basement.
Working remotely? The home's high-speed internet and free WiFi make it quick and easy to work in a peaceful environment.
We have Ring doorbells at the front and side doors for security purposes.
For winter sports, the home is near excellent ski areas, including Silver Mountain in Kellogg (40 minutes), Lookout Pass (55 minutes), and Schweitzer Mountain in Sandpoint (70 minutes).
We strive for a 5-star experience — every guest, every time — and will do our best to meet or exceed your expectations for a wonderful stay!
Be our guest and enjoy everything that Holladay Road CDA has to offer for a wonderful vacation!

House and location was perfect for our girls trip. Plenty of room for all 8 of us to hangout together and just a quick little walk to the shops and restaurants downtown!

This is such a cute property! Everything was so clean and it was such a cute house! We felt pampered with the comfortable beds and the extra touches from the owners. We loved our time here!

We enjoyed our stay and the property accommodations were wonderful. The local hiking and short walk to the lake and down town made it a perfect location for our group of 10.

Our family were in CDA for a family reunion at the end of July 2024. Some of our family stayed in this beautiful, well-stocked, roomy, updated home and had a great time. It was everything we expected and more. It felt like home the moment we walked in. The beds were comfy and A/C was wonderful in 85+ weather. The game room was a bonus for the older kids. We hope to be back soon!

This property is nothing short of amazing. We have stayed in a variety of vacation rentals across the country and the host goes above and beyond for their guests - maybe the best property we stayed in.
We had 6 adults and 6 children and there was plenty of space. The backyard is wonderful - ate most of our meals outside. The extra games for the kids was lovely.
A very short, enjoyable walk to downtown (even our 3 year old walked it fine) and the beach - convenient collapsible wagon, towels and beach toys at the property. The home was well stocked, very clean and spacious. All of us slept comfortably. Neighborhood is lovely and easy parking with a large driveway. Property manager was very easy to communicate with.
You won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful time at this perfectly located CDA house. It’s close (really short walk) to lake activities, the resort, and amazing restaurants. The house itself is extremely comfortable and its lovely backyard was so relaxing. The kids also enjoyed the game room activities. Strongly recommend this house.

Property was nice and a convenient location. Rebecca was very responsive and helpful. We were there for a wedding so it would have been nice to have an iron and ironing board.

The house was so amazing and the location was perfect. I'd go back in a heartbeat. However, the neighbors on one side are completely intolerant of any noise that may be made by kids while in the backyard even though it's within daylight hours.
The house and the management are top notch!

This is a beautifully updated home in a leafy neighborhood not far from downtown and the lake. Large well equipped kitchen and living areas. We especially enjoyed the backyard which stayed relatively cool even in the heat because of the shade. The playroom was a bonus. And the air conditioning which is not commonly fould in these classic older homes. The owner also supplied camping chairs, beach towels and a cooler for trips to the park or the lake. A great place to stay!

Great, spacious house. Updated, nice furniture. Perfect location, easy to walk to downtown and to the lake/playgrounds/restaurants. We would want to stay at this property again. The Smores kit waiting upon arrival was a sweet touch! Great backyard for watching the kids while adults sit on the porch. Thoughtful and detailed list of activities and restaurants, a cooler to use for out and about during stay. Cute front porch with flowers and a swing for coffee in the morning.

Family and friends came in town so me and my boyfriend could race in IM CDL. The location was great , easy walking distance to Ironman village and easy to walk to race start on morning of race. Easy walking distance to many restaurants. The house was great lots of room. Only issue we had was not being able to turn off the heat in the upper loft so the loft bedroom was cool from window unit but the loft between the master and bedroom really was never very cool. We were there in June. Great big kitchen with good supplies and we enjoyed tha back yard and fire pit! Would stay here again!

We came to CDA for our son’s wedding. This home was great for our needs as it housed us, our grown kids, my parents, my mother-in-law, and my sister. The fold out couch bed in the loft was not the best, but it worked to have a single sleeper without unfolding it. The house had plenty of room for the extended family to come for meals (they had a VRBO right around the corner) and they game room was perfect for the adults and teens. We even had plenty of room for the groomsmen to get ready. Thanks again for hosting our family and opening up your home to us!

This house was wonderful! We had a group of 10; 4 adults & 6 kids. The twin bed "bunk room" upstairs was perfect for 4 of the kids and the others were able to sleep on the pull-out couch upstairs so that they were all close by each other. The master bedroom upstairs was fantastic- big, airy, clean, and comfortable. The two bedrooms downstairs were also cute, clean & comfortable. I think this was one of my favorite rental houses ever! The kitchen/ dining area was a great gathering space, the big screen TV in the living room was great for watching a ball game, and the outdoor spaces were comfortable and very appreciated by our group. And the location!! Easy to walk to mid-town and downtown. I would definitely stay in this house again!

Everything was just right. We loved the sweet house, thoughtful touches throughout, pool table, large kitchen, big TV for family movies, Nespresso machine. Enough room for our family of 6 plus one extra kiddo. Walking to town was easy, access to grocery shopping easy, and beautiful lakes to chose from. I hope we can return.

It was the most accommodating home full of conveniences that made the best bonding week for our family! The host/owners were the kings of hospitality providing every amenity you could imagine. We truly felt like we were guests in the home of a friend…wishing we could stay longer!

We enjoyed our stay. Communication with the owners and property manager were great. Overall the house is in a great location, has a great yard,/game garage, and is well equipped - beach towels, chairs, cooler.
Our only suggestions are to figure out the A/C for the master bedroom and maybe add a few more essentials in the kitchen for bigger families; more large serving bowls, peeler, etc.

The home, accommodations, yard, everything are great. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Walking distance to the lake and downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay at this property again on our next trip to Coeur d'Alene.

Perfect location! Walking distance to restaurants, shops and the lake. We loved the space that the house offered for a family of 7. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. There was so much to do in CDA. Great family vacation spot!

Perfect location!
I would highly recommend this property. Within walking to downtown, midtown and the nearest grocery store. So many conveniences, the owners thought of almost everything you might need to make your stay enjoyable. We loved the fire pit in the back along with our s’mores basket.

Perfect stay for large family
This charming house has it all. Literally a dream to come home to after a long day playing at the theme park.
We had a big group; 3 adults and 7 kids and we were very comfortable with the space and amount of beds.
The kids loved to play out back and make s’mores while the adults sipped wine on the back patio in the evenings.
The location was perfect for our needs. Just a few blocks to the lake and we were able to walk to the store and an ice cream shop near by.
Rebecca was super attentive and helpful with any questions I had over the week.
We would love to stay here again when we visit CDL
