First level is the living room with 55" flat screen TV perfect for movie nights! Fully stocked eat-in kitchen. Full bathroom with stand up shower and dining area with china cabinet and seating to accommodate 4 people. 2nd floor has three bedrooms and full bath with jacuzzi and shower. 1st bedroom has king bed with walk in closet and 43" flat screen TV. 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and flat screen TV and 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and flat screen TV. Easy to drive virtually anywhere in Greater Boston area - and short drive to downtown. Convenient to shopping. House is well supplied with furniture for dining and relaxing, as well as kitchen needs and equipment, linens, and lots of TVs.
Susan was an excellent host - very pleasant and responsive to our questions and any needs.
Our only inconveniences were that second full bathroom was on first floor away from 3 upstairs bedrooms. Also to get to “main” (the one with king bed) bedroom requires walking through one of the other bedrooms.

Adorable house in a great neighborhood. We enjoyed the house, the location was excellent and allowed us to visit all of the New England states during our vacation. Downtown West Roxbury was about a 1/2 mile away and was a cute town with great restaurant options and a nearby grocery store and Starbucks. We enjoyed the neighborhood- nice and quiet, out of the bustle of downtown Boston, and a great area for evening walks. We had a family of 4 including two older teenagers and really enjoyed this location.

The house is in a quintessential New England neighborhood with beautiful manicured lawns and leafy streets. If you haven’t visited New England you’ll immediately be impressed with the architecture. The house is very spacious for guest to have privacy and meet up for activities. It’s clean nice and has everything you need. The best part is you can go to concert or game at Fenway or Gillette or both in the same weekend. We had fun no wonder this place gets great ratings.

Nice house and neighborhood. Host responded quickly to all communication. Great location. We had great weather and would have liked to enjoy the patio area but the furniture was covered in sticky tree debris. Covers for the furniture might help.

We had a fantastic weekend visiting HMS Medical Students. The Grandma, mom and Aunties tour. Started late late Thursday evening when we all arrived at our West Roxbury home, sitting around the wonderful kitchen table and sharing travel stories with wine. Home was perfect location 20 minutes from everything. Quiet setting. Great sleeping. Comfy beds, soft linens. Communication with Susan always quick and helpful. Highly recommend.

We booked the house to keep the family together while in town for the marathon. The location was far enough out to allow us to relax before and after the race and close enough to the bus routes and T lines for groups to venture out without the car.

We enjoyed our stay very much.The home is beautiful. We Ubered to Boston several times from the house so we didn’t have the hassle of driving. We had one problem with a door and Susan came right over to fix it and was incredibly gracious and helpful. The only thing that guests need to be aware of is that the three bedrooms are upstairs and only one bathroom is upstairs. The other bathroom is downstairs. The description says that, but just make sure you are aware; also, guests must walk through one bedroom to get to the master bedroom.

Close to Boston. There is a short 10-15 min walk to the T as well. We went into the little town where there were some good restaurants. The neighborhood is safe and friendly.
The house is well-maintained. Personally, we like room darkening blinds/shades so the sun shines in the master bedroom and the bedroom at the top of the stairs. We were able to buy shades at the local CVS.

CLEAN and well-appointed 3-bedroom home with comfortable beds. One of the bedrooms adjoins primary bedroom so privacy might be an issue for some guests. There were 5 in our party. Our single young adult som used the adjoining bedroom so was not a problem for us. Home is located in a lovely neighborhood and has parking and nice outdoor space. 20-30 minute drive to downtown Boston (depending on day of week and time of day). We used both rental car and Uber to travel into Boston. Grocery store & good restaurants nearby in West Roxbury and Rosalind. Charming home, neighborhood and city. Highly recommend this home and owner was a pleasure to work with throughout our planning and stay.

This house was really lovely and well appointed. Great location with ample parking. The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. The only thing to be aware of is that the layout of the upstairs bedrooms requires the occupants of the largest bedroom to walk through another bedroom to get to the bathroom or to go downstairs. This was not a big issue for us but thought it worth mentioning. I would definitely go back to this house.

My family and I had a great spring weekend in Boston celebrating my sons graduation. Property was just as described, in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking and easy access back out to the highway. The house was spacious and well equipped and our host Susan was more than accommodating with my late paperwork submission.

The house is as shown in pics. It was clean & well equipped. I recommend a car as transit stop is not convenient. Susan was a great host, even when we locked ourselves out, she came over and was very gracious about getting us in. It was my fault. The 4 of us were comfortable for the entire stay. We all agreed we would recommend staying here

Our grown kids and friends are in Boston, this well stocked, immaculate home easily sleeps 6 and made a great base for late Dec get-together. Access and good parking front and rear made this corner lot excellent, backyard looks well suited to summer as well. The town center with great shopping and restaurants is very close-by, easy reach to city and suburbs. Susan was a helpful, responsive host. We hope to be back soon

This is a very clean property in a nice neighborhood. Property owner was very communicative and helpful. About a 15-30 minute drive if you’re interested in downtown. Didn’t use the train so should check this out if you’re interested in public transportation. The station is about 1/2 mile walk.
The only issue we had is that we had a teen, 4 adults, and an infant. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath and the other bath is on the main floor. If you’re in the master suite, you need to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom on the second floor. We managed to make it work though. Thanks Susan for your attention!

We spent a long weekend in Boston for a concert and to see friends. This house worked perfectly for us! The decor is welcoming and the house is spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The arcade game was a big hit with the guys, and there were other board games for down time. The bedrooms were generously sized and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The bedroom setup was a little odd - you had to walk through bedroom 1 to get to bedroom 2. We slept in one with our daughter and her husband in the other connected one and gave our friends the more private 3rd one. It worked perfectly fine for us but can see it being uncomfortable for 3 unrelated couples. The bathrooms were well stocked, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. We didn’t have the chance to use the backyard much but it has a fire pit with a cushy conversation area as well as some outdoor games. The younger couple spent a fair amount of downtime in the hammock. There was parking for two large vehicles - which is a challenge to find with most rental homes in Boston.
If we have need to stay in Boston again, this home would be our first choice!

Great house and perfect location!
We stayed here during July 4th weekend to enjoy and explore Boston. The house was perfect- very clean, nice decor, very modern with lots of entertainment options. The kids especially loved the arcade machine and outdoor recreation options. West Roxybury is a cute little town with walkable dining options. It is a safe neighborhood and we went jogging every morning. House is accessible to public transportation to go downtown Boston. We would definitely recommend this to anyone and would stay here again. Susan is very responsive and will take care of all your needs.

Simply beautiful!
This home is the quintessential Boston home. It's old and historic but feels fresh and modern. The host, Susan, was a joy to work with. It was my first time to Boston, and although it was a bit farther from the city life than one might want it was a quick walk to the commuter train then a quick transfer to the orange line into the heart of the city. The home is fresh and immaculate with a variety of coffee, teas and espressos at the waiting. Be wary of the quiet hours. We got back from the Sox game and we're amped up because they won, when we got home the next night we came home to the patio being soaked by the neighbors. Welp, whatcha gonna do. Enjoy this property.

Clean, large place with very a communicative hostess
Great place for a large group. The place was clean and the hostess was very communicative. It was really easy to reach her and she also checked in with us. The check in process was SUPER easy. Lots of nice touches such as snacks, water, coffee, other goodies, the lights on the walkway. The sunroom and outdoor furniture including the hammock were adorable and the PACMAN machine brings back such fond memories.
