We have the ultimate holiday home that is perfect and fully equipped for families, and small groups.

This property is situated in Bongaree on Bribie Island.

It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home that is within walking distance to EVERYTHING you need.

3 bedrooms - master has en-suite

2 bathrooms - en-suite and main bathroom with bath plus a separate toilet

Fully equipped kitchen with pod-coffee machine some pods included, microwave, full-size fridge/freezer, pots, pans and cooking dishes included. New full size oven and electric stovetop.

A 8kg washing machine and 8kg clothes dryer with provided washing powder and clothesline right outside

Our home is centrally located to everything

2min drive to the beach the Pumisestone Passage which is perfect for swimming, fishing, awesome playground, ample seating free BBQs

Pumisestone Passage is the ultimate location to watch the sunset

We are down a quiet cul-de-sac, the kids can ride their bikes around

200m to cannel jetty where you can launch kayaks or throw in a line to catch some fish and visit the residence grouper fish

100m to Macdonalds

500m to ALDIs

4-minute drive to the main shopping centre.

8-minute drive or 25-minute walk to Sandstone Point Hotel

15-minute drive to the 4WD access of Woorim beach

Getting around:

Most things are within walking distance. The roads are great and getting around by car is easy with ample parking everywhere.
The footpaths are in great condition for walking, bikes or scooters.
There is a beach esplanade that goes from one end to the other of the island.

About your hosts:
We are a young family with 4 small children, we choose to buy on Bribie Island because it’s our absolute favourite beach to come to you will often find us on Woorim Beach using the 4WD access if you have a 4WD grab a permit, and head on down its perfect for swimming. With 4 young children, you can ensure this holiday home is set up for families.

The property was close to shops and friends and church. A short walk to the beach. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The yard was big enough for our dog the run around in and the outdoor seating area was comfortable. Washing machine and dryer made washing easy. Furniture was modern and suited the property.

Emma's property was clean and had everything needed, it was only my husband and I staying but this house would be ideal for people staying with children and pets too. Communication from Emma was excellent, we would definitely stay there again. Thank you for hosting us Emma.

Should I start with the ensuite bathroom that was littered with dead ants? Or the floor coverings in the dining room that were caked in dirt? Perhaps the cups in the bathroom with someone's toothpaste slobber all over it. The smell was rancid and when we tried to open the windows - we found torn (or no) insect screens. Dodgy home jobs in electric fittings made it unsafe and uncomfortable. Would have been fine for half the price ... but to be charged an exorbitant cleaning fee for such appalling standards was salt in the wound. The property certainly has potential - but is far from fulfilled and needs some serious TLC.

We recently had a great stay at this address. The communication leading up to and during our stay with owner was excellent. Fast replies to all my questions and nothing was too much hassle. Accommodation was easily found and located not far from anything on the island. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Plenty of space in home. Enjoyed our stay

The property has a fan in the dedicated children's room with access to a bunk that is potentially dangerous. And there were quite a few cockroaches hatching in the kitchen around the sink every night, I am sure a spray through would deal with that. The kingsize bed was very comfy, and the backyard lovely for the dogs. the traffic was loud from behind though and the light from the highway bright for those in the back bedroom, even with the blockout blinds provided. On the whole the property was clean, well set up, and in a good street, some small repairs to windows etc. needed. We all enjoyed our time together but our stay was better for some more than others of our extended family.
