Property was very pleasing, quite and convenient location

The property was perfect! We did a lot of day trips with family and friends and the location was central to them all. Accommodations were just what we needed. There was plenty of room for sleeping and lots of room for relaxing at the end of the day. Peggy was wonderful with her communication and availability for early check in if needed.

We were attending a family wedding and this home was lovely and close to the venue.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chickasaw Retreat. The house is very spacious and the layout offers several different areas where you can gather or have time to yourself if you need some space.
Peggy was very communicative from the very beginning about the house having a couple of issues even before our arrival. She was honest and let us know what was being done to fix the issues. I appreciated her honesty. One issue wasn't resolved prior to or during our stay (the freezer wasn't working properly). But it really wasn't a problem for us because the freezer wasn't completely broken - just needed a minor repair. Which again - Peggy went above and beyond with doing her best to try to get it fixed and even brought us a bag of ice :)
Nothing bad to say about this house. Great for large family gatherings and the surrounding area is beautiful!

We loved staying here and enjoyed our stay for 7 days. It is a lovely home. The back yard was great for our children to play and explore. The large bay window in the dining room offered a lovely view of birds and deer. It was beautiful. Thank you for your hospitality!

We call our group of 8 ladies, all retired, The Four Seasons. As our name suggests, each season we take a trip to enjoy some time together. We have traveled great and short distances but none have been more enjoyable than the four days we spent in Kingsport at this lovely home. What a gem! The four comfortable bedrooms were perfect, the kitchen was well equipped and organized (cleanest refrigerator we have ever had), the large dining table was exactly what we needed for our card games and the living area encouraged our times of sharing and laughter. Our hosts get an A++ (we are retired educators so grading comes naturally) for pleasing 8 women! We loved this home and our winter trip!

Was a great house, just watch for deer.
5.0
The property was great. From the deer roaming in the backyard at dawn and dusk nearly every day, to the space afforded for people to gather or have time to themselves, the property was fantastic. The house came with all the little stuff you forget about when renting a property (paper towels, oils for cooking, dishwashing soap, laundry pods, etc) and also had board/card games to play when the weather didn't cooperate. The house was clean when we arrived and was also easy to clean up when we left. The neighborhood was nice and quiet but also easily accessible for anything nearby. Restaurants were close, outdoor activities were close, and overall the property was fantastic. We'll definitely be coming back next time we come to the area.

My family and I stayed here for a work trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in the area. We cooked all our meals in the home and weren’t in need of anything. For a family of 7, it had plenty of room and was super clean. We will definitely be back!

Very quiet, clean, spacious house for a family of 7. LOVED the bunk room! House was easy to find and very convenient to all that we needed for the weekend. Thanks for taking such good care of this house. We had a wonderful stay.

Excellent layout for a large group with some areas large enough for everyone but other areas for smaller groups or to get away from everyone. Bedrooms situated in such a way that little ones can be put to bed for a nap or in the evening without others having to worry about interrupting them or being interrupted by them. If we need a large place in Kingsport again, we will definitely look at the availability of this place first. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed for a large group.

My husband, twin sister, and I grew up in Kingsport...we all graduated from DBHS. We live in Nashville now with our grown kids and grandkids, but Kingsport will always be "home" and we had to come to town after our grandmother's passing to attend her funeral and we stayed for a long weekend. This house was PERFECT for us. It easily accommodated eight adults, two teenagers, and two children. We love how spacious the dining room was and we enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen and then gathering around the big table to eat together. The 3 and 6 year olds loved the selection of games and activities and the chalk wall in the laundry room was a huge hit with everyone. The location of the home was perfect for us. It was actually located almost in the backyard of the home my grandparents lived in and it brought back many great memories for my twin sister and me. The house is decorated nicely, its conveniently located near everything you may need, there is ample parking for several cars in the driveway/carport, and overall the home was very clean and inviting. If you're coming to Kingsport with your family, you won't find a better option than this this home. We plan to come back and stay here again, and we highly recommend!!

Everything we could possibly need for our stay was provided. They did not skimp on household supplies, and they were of good quality. No $1 toilet paper and they didn’t give just 1 roll (A pet peeve of mine). This was my first rental where they actually provided coffee, creamers, hot chocolate, salt and pepper, sugar, cooking spray, ice, etc… the owners made it known that they would be available if there were any questions or concerns, but they weren’t over bearing.
It was very roomy and that was great for the family we had with us. There were lots of cabinets and tons of light switches but they had most of them labeled which was nice as well. It seemed that they had though of about everything and did all they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would recommend this house to others 10/10!

Perfect!
We stayed at the Chickasaw Retreat over Thanksgiving and had our family dinner there. The house was impeccably well stocked and had everything we needed and then some! The kids loved playing in the beautiful backyard, and we appreciated that there are multiple common areas for people to gather. The house was very clean and there were notes throughout the house indicating where conveniences were located (ex. USB ports, etc.). The house is located in a convenient and upscale neighborhood. 10/10 would recommend!

We loved our stay at this property! House was clean and very accommodating!
The kitchen was well supplied. They had k cups there for our use, and different kinds of teas and bottled waters. We loved everything about the house and would definitely stay here again if in the area.
