Not what I expected. Paid to much money for less than adequate place.

It was somewhat ok, Had to go purchase a Fan cause the AC wasn't working properly, had to to put towels up to the door and window because the blinds was broken, Scared to use the stove because the burners was loose

Everything covered in dust, had to use a bungie cord to hold the shower door closed, coffee maker was nasty, we cleaned it and when we made coffee the basket overflowed everywhere because the pot and maker are different brands and the pot doesn't let coffee flow into it as fast as the maker makes it. The freezer has never been defrosted and the freezer door was broke. The next morning everything we put in the fridge was frozen. AC not very good, room finally got cool around 4 am. Window blinds had sections missing so we had to put foil over the windows. Fridge light bulb burned out as were several other bulbs around the room. AC vents covered with mold. It could be a nice place if just a little money was put back into it but we will never stay there again.

It was very peaceful and relaxing. I feel like there could be updates, the a/c really didn’t keep up with the heat. We are an older couple and didn’t find a lot of comfort in the furniture, maybe some simple cushions . Also, no where on the website did it say anything about catch and release, but catch and release signs are everywhere at the pond? Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will probably stay again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at whipper will cabins it was so calm and relaxing we will be back ! Close to all attractions and wonderful scenic views loved it!

The bed was not very comfortable. The shower was small & toilet was low to the ground. Concept was nice but I would probably prefer to pay to stay somewhere else next time

We had to get new sheets to put onto the bed due to dog hair in the existing sheets. The shower door didn’t close tightly and therefore leaked. And to my surprise the freezer door fell off when I opened it. Not a fun time. Sorry to say we will not be returning or recommending the cabins.

It’s a great place with just a few concerns .
My husband and I are really picky when it comes to the bed . We were surprised to find it was really comfortable, with lots of room .
The cabin seamed clean , and we give 4 stars , however , there are some things that need fixing .
The shower door has a latch that you have to lock when you get into the shower to keep the door shut .
Both nobs fell off the bathroom sink , I used my nail glue and glued them back on . I think they will stay .
The shower handle needs to be turned around so that H means Hot and C means cold .
The refrigerator freezes everything we put in there .
Even after turning it up , we saw previous concerns about these same things .
These all easy fixes that would make it a better place .
Also remember this is a cabin the woods , it’s not hotel room . You have real wood floors , so if this isn’t thing , this isn’t place for you .
We overall loved our time there , and will be back .
Also want to add , there are plenty of stores and restaurants close by .
Oh and take worms to the stocked pond and catch all the blue gill you want , especially right by the dock :)

Nice cabin... Busy street/highway close by..could hear large trucks zooming by ...
Cabin had everything we needed....firewood included, which was nice
Next time we will book cabin a little further in the back..cabins 12 or greater seems to be away from roads....

We ad a really nice time. The cabin was clean and cozy for the most part. We had a little issue with heat the first night but the next morning we let them know and they got right on it. The weather turned extremely cold the second night but we were much more comfortable since the heat was better. We had a great time!

The things we liked about our stay: conveniently located; quiet and peaceful location; cabin was quaint. Things that were disappointing: the property had litter throughout it..this was litter that was convenient for the owner/property manager to pick up but they left it there-scattered; cabin was only clean at eye level…look up and there was dust and cobwebs on beams, etc. The blind on front door was broken so someone (if they wanted to) could easily look into our cabin. A blind cost less than $10…surely a new one could be arranged but instead…a broken blind was there. The hot/cold for the shower were opposite (a sign in bathroom to announce this). Shower head was also upside down and kitchen drawer got stuck. All these things add up to..the property could have been better managed and owners could have taken extra steps to ensure a really enjoyable stay. Overall, for price and location, it met our needs.

Cabin was just what we needed 😊 great location and amenities ❤️ the only problem was the fireplace smoke came back in so we couldn’t have a fire inside 😩 other than that it was great

It was a horrible vacation. The cabin was dirty, the floor looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in some time, spider webs hanging from the rafters, and the dirt and dust balls under the bed was disgusting.
There were a lot of broken items, shower, refrigerator, utensil drawer, sitting chair, fireplace tools and screens, too many to mention. We wanted a different cabin but management company called owner and refused to accommodate our wishes sending a maintenance man who could repair very few items.

Enjoyed the cabin very much weather was not pleasant but not your fault

The cabin is in a quiet area, surrounded by trees which was nice. The bed was really comfortable. The whole cabin had a real rustic look which was cool.
Things to improve on: utensil drawer in the kitchen was broken, fridge temperature is too low so my food froze! Shower door does not open fully as it is obstructed by the toilet. I was still able to get in and out comfortably but others may have difficulty. Shower hot and cold directions are reversed. There was a sign highlighting this, but I still feel it is dangerous if someone misses the sign. Part of the bathroom sink tap knobs kept falling off.
Travelers should also note that they will be asked to clean up after themselves. You need to wash all your dishes, set the air conditioning temperature and take out the trash before leaving. In larger cabins with a washing machine you will also need to start the towels washing. This was ok for us, but I just wish it was mentioned in the online listing instead of sent to us after we had booked and paid.

Perfect little cabin for two. Great location, comfortable and quiet.

The cabin was so small you hardly had room to turn around. We paid extra money so we could take our dog and he didn’t have enough room either. We ordered a pizza and took it back to the cabin and ate it and then loaded back up and came home. Didn’t even stay for one night. Not a good experience.

It would have been a perfect stay, EXCEPT for the massive logging trucks that BANGED and SLAMMED their way next to my cabin for hours. The harmonious droning of chainsaws killed any hope of a romantic setting. Marlboro men running around sweaty and shirtless may have to appealed to some, however left us in dismay. Cabin 9 (Our cabin) just happened to be next to the logging road. What joy.

wonderful place to relax, small but cheap, the only bad thing is that the refrigerator freezes.

We arrived on a Sunday and stayed two nights at a small efficiency cabin (a-one room cabin with a king bed and efficiency kitchen, with stove and oven). Upon arrival, we noticed an overflowing trashcan and some trash strewn nearby. Not sure if it was because it was a Sunday? Thankfully, the internet and the AC worked well; we were grateful for the AC window-unit since we arrived during a heat-wave (temperatures expected to clear 100F) near the end of June. The main attraction: proximity to Ouachita National Park and hiking trails. The cabin was pet-friendly, so this was one of the reasons we secured it. It was good enough for our needs, but a bit expensive for what it provided.

We had the best stay! Rustic, basics, cozy and very peaceful. If you are looking for fancy and all the modern amenities this place is not for you. If you want to detach from the craziness of the world check this place out.

We absolutely loved our stay! For two people, it was fantastic! The only real complain I have was that the beds could be better like an upgrade or a new mattress. Me and my new husband feel like sore rocks honestly but other than that, it was fantastic!

Bad refrigerator, shower and no comfortable chairs!!!

We got some rest and the cabin with exceptions was very comfortable and homy. I would go back if my concerns were addressed. The window shade on front door had a gapping whole, the nobs on the bathroom sink kept coming off, the refrigerator was so old and the freezer door wouldn't stay on, and the water pressure in the hard to keep closed shower was very low.

So peaceful

The stay overall was enjoyable other than the fact that the cieling and fans were very dusty which cause me ti wake up coughing and sneezing and also the blinds were not all there which was leaving the window open, the restroom single handle tops kept falling off as well.

We loved the location. From the looks of it we were the only ones staying there at the time. There are three things I would change about the cabin. It needs more plug ins. Don't put any fresh veggies in the fridge. It froze our lettuce and tomato. The shower needs to be bigger and made for handi capped people. We would definitely go back.

Perfect time. Very few people there. Very nice and clean property. It was relaxing and they were very accommodating. We will be back

Clean cabin, bathroom and bed. All kitchen basics were there. Careful with the fridge; all our food froze the first day. The property itself was clean (no trash blowing around). Walking around the pond at night was nice. You can go fishing in the pond (catch and release). The property and other visitors were quiet. There is a small outdoor play set/jungle gym for little kids. Overall we had a nice stay.

Hard to find. Loved the cabin. Great for two people. Recommend instructions for the tv (channels, power on:off, shower a little small, great bed). Recommend things to start a fire(lighter, lighter logs). Overall experience great.
