About this house rental
This is a newly renovated property, with a private street entrance across from Gyro beach, on Osoyoos lake. If location and comfort is important - you won’t be disappointed! It’s modern and fully equipped, with lake views in a unique urban commercially zoned building. Walk to all shops and beaches, restaurants, pubs and even the local brewery. All new furniture, and mattresses, with everything needed. You wont need a car for your daily needs, but we suggest it for checking out all the award winning wineries close by. 😊 Snowbird monthly rates are available from October to April.
We love travelling and have used VRBO all over the world. From that experience we found that when it comes to our own properties in Canada and Europe - location, cleanliness, and comfort are key.
The entrance is on the main floor, with stairs up to the main living space. Our property has a street entrance and no one is above or on either side. Each room has its own remote controlled AC, so you have complete control of the temperature. The living room has a new sofa bed, with a proper queen size mattress. The kitchen is very spacious and has seating for 6, and is fully equipped. The second bedroom has a king size bed and the master bedroom has a queen bed with a private master bathroom. Because of the stairs, please note that our property is not wheelchair, bike or stroller friendly. Also, there is no Outdoor BBQ on our property, but right across the street has lots of picnic tables and BBQ is allowed. We also do not allow parties or large groups. And sadly no pets, due to severe allergies.

We had a great stay in our vrbo! The place was clean, the furniture was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with all of the necessities. We enjoyed being in walking distance to Gyro beach, many restaurants and the cafe. We would definitely recommend this stay to others!

Loved this place!. Location is great. Walk to everything.
Its very clean and comfortable.
Only thing was no bbq. If you want to , just bring a portable one and cross the street and you can grill at the beach/park.

Centrally located, clean. More suited for a shorter stay. No dresser, desk etc. no reading lamp for books. Entrance door could use privacy blind. Bed mattress had no support.

There were some small niggles during our short stay that was reduced because of the smoke. We had a toilet roll in each bathroom but only one spare. Had to buy more. The shower cubicle floor was very slippery, probably due to cleaning process. Had to buy shower mat to make it safer. We are getting on in age so important for us. Other than that it was a good stay.

We loved our stay at the Unique Lakeside Gem. We're frequent visitors to Osoyoos and have stayed in many different accommodations, including hotels and other vacation rental properties. On previous visits, we have been joined by extended family, but this time it was just the four of us - me, my husband and our two little boys. This spot was perfect for us - steps away from Gyro Beach, right across the street from groceries and liquor, and nearby an ice cream/candy shop. With the exception of a day spent touring wineries, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking and eating dishes and utensils and the bathrooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, and we had more than enough room in the primary bedroom to set up our toddler's travel mattress on the floor. We would definitely stay here again.
The only downside was not having access to an outdoor space like a balcony or patio. However, we spent most of our days outside at the beach or touring around, so this was very insignificant for us. The big windows and skylights in the main living space brought in a lot of natural light which made up for this.

Beautiful unit. Extremely clean and comfortable. Very close to the beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Property is located across street from beach so location is great. Very clean and modern. Great lace if you want to stay and enjoy the water in Osoyoos.

What a wonderful place this was! The property was incredibly clean and comfortable. The location left nothing to be desired for either. Short, under 3 minute, walks to the market, beach, restaurants, bars, cafes and ice cream parlors really made our experience even more memorable. We hiked, we visited wineries, we paddle boarded and supported the local restaurants and enjoyed every minute of it in this friendly beach town.
The hosts of the property really paid attention to the details around communication and amenities. This alone made their property one of the best we’ve stayed in. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again!

The property is wonderful! Clean, beads were extremely comfortable, it is very close to the lake, groceries, liquor store and restaurants. The owners were very attentive and quick to respond.

We recently stayed for 3 nights for a girls trip. This location couldn’t be any better! You are right across the street from a beach and just down from downtown. The property is extremely clean and comfortable! The host was very responsive and great to talk to when I was looking for some additional info. We will absolutely be back!! 😊

We rented this property for 2 weeks.
All our expectations were met: accessibility to host, central location near grocer, restaurants, liquor store. The place was very nicely decorated, very clean and efficient . Streets are quiet, people very friendly. When back in Osoyoos, this is the place I want to stay in again!

Over the past 30+ years we have stayed at many wonderful vacation properties in North America. This property met all our expectations. Host Sandra ensured our arrival information was sent to us in a timely manner and answered any questions we had during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was spotless and Sandra and Tim were completely accessible although there was no need to contact them. Everything we needed was there for us. Would highly recommend.

What a great stay! This apartment is so spacious, and the location is absolutely perfect! Just steps from the beach and a handful of restaurants which made our stay stress and (mostly) car free! Would absolutely love to stay again the next time in in Osoyoos!

Trip to Osooyos
Everything was as advertised in VRBO…..the host was excellent and answered our questions promptly. The property was very comfortable and quiet. We were very close to the beach which was across the street and groceries were within walking distance.

Great property with perfect location!
Sandra is a wonderful host. We arrived at the property with a nice bottle of wine and a very clean and organized property. Everything we needed is there!
You can also never go wrong with the location. It’s right in front of the beach!

Downtown Osoyoos
Great new/recently renovated accommodation. We Enjoyed a few days of golf, wine tasting while staying with walking distance of Osoyoos restaurants and coffee places. Thanks for everything.
