Loved this place! The great escape. We saw deer, distant seals from the backyard view. Gorgeous plants, flowers. Never heard or saw neighbors. (Wifi strong for work meetings.) Plenty of amenities, great welcome treats, clean and gorgeous windows!
Kayaks were excellent. Lots of lovely hiking trails on island and a swimming lake. (General store was good, reasonably priced.) Ferry was fun, simple. Great communication from host.
Enjoyed the fire pit. Seriously, nothing more needed! Thank you hosts Brian & Diane for sharing your little piece if Heaven! :)

A beautiful and well-kept home in a secluded spot with great light; beach access and quiet. It was perfect.

This house was perfect for a family getaway. The bunk bed room was a big hit with my kids, as well as the hot tub. There is a huge yard to run around and play, with access down to the beach with crabs, sand dollars, star fish, and more! The house was clean, cozy, well stocked and they even had a basket with treats to welcome us. There are trails all over the island with their own beach access that we loved exploring. Great, quiet getaway for our family.

Our second time staying here and loved it! It’s so quiet and secluded with a gorgeous view. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the property is adorable. Took one star off of cleanliness due to the hot tub being a little murky, but it didn’t detract from our overall stay.

The property was gorgeous and the location was ideal. Felt very secluded but well maintained and the private beach was fantastic. We loved it.

Just a really lovely, secluded place in the woods with private beach access (down an impressively long flight of stairs). Host communication was top notch. View and coziness were wonderful. We ended up with just 4 in our party, which was great. Might have been close quarters with more than that. Kitchen cooking tools could use a little better stocking, organization, labeling to take to next level, But overall, as described and grand.

Beautiful house!
The views were amazing, hot tub was needed and the fire was perfect for s’mores. As 5 friends and educators we take a weekend away and this was exactly what we needed for our annual trip. It was peaceful, the beach was great to explore and the house had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great location and even better home. Kayaks, jacuzzi, fireplaces, grill, sunsets galore. Great all around and recommend to anyone.

This place is the definition of relaxation and beauty!!! The house is well appointed with gorgeous views. The hot tub was well maintained, also with a view. The fireplace was a wonderful spot for night time gatherings. Highly recommend!!!

We are a group of educators we take a annual trip to relax and enjoy our friendship. This year we stayed at the beachcomber. It was exactly what we needed. The house was amazing! We enjoyed sitting by the fire, relaxing in the hot tub and exploring the beach. Thank you for sharing your home with us and the amazing views.

We enjoyed our spring break stay! We had the best of all weather.. sun, rain, fog and all. The hot tub was a great feature during all of it. Loved the view, and really could envision living here. Thanks for an amazing time

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home was so cozy and charming with amazing views of the sound.
To our surprise they had a beautiful Christmas tree put up, and other holiday decor to out for us. It really made our family Christmas gathering special.

We rented this home for our family to gather for Christmas. To our surprise, we entered the home to see a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and other holiday decorations around the room.
The home was well supplied with the essentials, plus other things to enjoy like books, games, puzzles, and some of the basic kitchen staples.
We loved the large wall of windows to take in the views of the Sound, and the lush vegetation.
We thoroughly enjoyed seeing eagles and other wildlife from the overlook, as well as on the beach walk, or from the hot tub.
We could regularly hear the sea lions.
The house was decorated in such a cozy beach/cabin style.
We had a wonderful stay.

This home was exceptional. Very clean, accurate listing, well stocked kitchen meant well stocked kitchen! The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was amazing, the host was communicative and we experienced zero problems. We will absolutely stay again. The only thing I could say is the cleaning fee is steep considering the checkout includes a decent list of chores.

Such an awesome property. Quiet and secluded, but close to all the island amenities. The house itself was very clean with comfortable beds. The kitchen was very well stocked.
Steps down to the beach are steep, but handrails and non-slip sheets on the steps themselves made it easier to make our way down. The hot tub was great after a day of trekking around the island.
The riviera restaurant was great food and fun on karaoke night. If you plan on cooking, be sure to stop at a grocery store before heading to the island. The general store has basics, but is pretty limited.
Overall, 10/10 would stay (and plan to stay) again!

I can’t say enough about this house! My friends and I rent a few house a year and this is by far my favorite. Every detail of the house is thought out. All of the finishes and items in the house are higher end giving it a homey feel. It felt like staying at a friend’s house rather than a rental. We plan on brining our kids back next summer ti enjoy the island.

I can't say enough good things about this house. My husband and I traveled with another couple for his fortieth birthday. Every detail of the home is thought out as if the owner lives there. Everything is high end and seems more like staying at a friend's house rather than a rental. The gas firepit was amazing on a crisp November day. The new hot tub was just what we needed after a trek down to the private beach. We can't wait to come back with our children.

Such a slice of heaven. We enjoyed exploring the island. But most of all we enjoyed this beautiful home and the view. It was the perfect family getaway to unplug and spend quality time. We can’t wait to come back.

Be sure to stock up on all your supplies before heading to this house because once there you will NOT want to leave. The owners have thought of everything- fire pit for s’more’s, board games, books, cozy blankets, great WiFi connection (we have two teens), smart tv and A/C (we only used it couple of times but was grateful to have it). We swam (bring googles there are great lakes on the island for swimming), paddle boated, hiked and cooked. We even found oysters on the beach! They were amazing grilled. Just writing this makes me miss the place… we will be back next summer!

Breathtaking views
Pictures can not do this property justice. Our family watched three different pods of Orca’s over a few days right from the living room. The seals come right up on the rocky beach right before the tide comes in each night. There’s plenty of wildlife like coyotes, deer, otters, eagles, and chipmunks. Our children absolutely loved the bunk bed room. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and even had a welcoming basket. We can’t wait to stay here again.

amazing getaway
Our group of friends decided to visit Anderson Island for the first time to celebrate a birthday. We had a fantastic time - grilled oysters we found on the beach, followed our hot tub soak with a cold plunge in the puget sound, enjoyed watching the birds, made great meals, drank wine by the fire, and had happy hour by the firepit. The house was gorgeous with amazing views even when it was rainy and we really enjoyed learning about a new part of the Pacific Northwest. Would highly recommend!

Loved it and will return!
The setting was magical and the house extremely comfortable. We had to cook quite a bit for the holiday meals and had more than enough serving dishes and cookware. The view from the sofa was so relaxing and very private. We enjoyed the adventure of taking the ferry. If you like walking, you will never run out of trails... Will definitely stay here in the future. We highly recommend the home!

Beautiful views, cozy home, perfect getaway!
The house and views are both amazing! They even decorated for Christmas, which was a great surprise! The walk down to the beach was a nature hike, very cool. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Sitting by the fire, playing games was just why we needed! Owner was excellent at communicating. General store , deli and restaurant all excellent!

Island getaway
Kitchen was well-stocked, ice and filtered water provided, exactly as described. Wood fireplace. Easy to follow instructions, and owner was welcoming and responsive via text. Bring your rubber boots this time of year as paths are muddy on park walks. It’s a view house more than spend your day at the beach house. Private and tucked away from the world. We drank wine and brought leftovers and read our favorite books and enjoyed our time together.
Jacobs Point was a treasure and you can find a great latte at the cafe. Our weather was mostly rainy but it was cozy.
