I enjoyed the solitude of the weekend. Was quiet for what I needed at the time. The couch was very uncomfortable to sit on. Could not fully get comfortable. The TV speakers were blown so had to have tv low volume. The AC did not shut off at all and was noisy, that is probably why the speakers were blow n the tv.
Loved the area and the outdoor space.

Family Stop In New Bern
Our family stopped in New Bern for a night on our way to Hilton Head. We needed a family friendly & dog friendly place to stay. The Gosling was perfect and very clean. Family had a great stay and Jeff is super responsive this will definitely be our mid way stop everytime.

Exceptional stay
The Gosling was amazing. Such a cute rental stocked with all the essentials. Outside sitting area is so inviting. Didn’t get to use the fire pit it was ready and available to whomever. The laundry room was a blessing! Everything you could need for a stay was available. We stayed during our road trip. My only regret is that we don’t live closer so we could stay again!

Mother/Daughter Road Trip
We were only there 12 hours, but what fun it was to stay in a clean, orderly, cleverly arranged tiny house!

Brices Creek Tiny house
It was so good to be back on Brices Creek as my grandparents lived here when I was a child. The fishing with a cane pole and some night crawlers is still wonderful. The tiny house was quaint and nice, but I had real difficulty climbing the ladder to the loft bed. I slept on a very uncomfortable futon as a result both nights. The road noise is also rather loud as Brices Creek road is always busy. Keeping the AC on helps with that. The thing I disliked was that the firepit was kept smoking all day long and the smoke blew my houses way the entire time (rather annoying), so I could not sit outside on the porch, as it was making me cough constantly. Of course, that meant for me, a nice alternative was sitting on the dock fishing or watching the osprey's nest across the creek. When the family renting the grey goose checked in then it was a bit awkward to be sitting on the dock while they were on the porch, but it worked. The creek is beautiful and peaceful. I never saw Jeff; that was not a bad thing. There were some construction workers, but they waited to do things until after 9 or 10am. Jeff's done a nice job with his property. It is a nice place. I would stay again, maybe in the house next door so the smoke didn't blow my way.

Fabulous, clean, and fun!
The cabin was perfect. Exactly as described, very clean, very well supplied with everything we needed (including plenty of Covid cleaning items). The beds were so comfortable! We loved using the lake for kayaking, swimming, etc. - it was beautiful! We used the great fire pit and the barbecue. And the horseshoe game too! The only thing that was a surprise was the location/grounds. The pictures didn't show that it is basically in a gravel lot, sort of like a trailer park, with lots of work going on around us! But it wasn't a big deal. Jeff was fabulous to work with and answered my many questions. We would definitely come back again!

Awesome location & accommodations
Always wanted to give Tiny House living a try. This was perfect opportunity. Owner was very informative about the area. River setting is just gorgeous. Place was very clean & smelled great. Plenty to see & do in the area. Will definitely stay again but for longer time. Would be even more awesome when weather is little warmer in spring/summer, but we did love the campfire owner had available for us so s’mores & hot chocolate!
