You are welcome to access all areas of this single-story house this is a one-bedroom house with 1 bathroom and is nice for a family with kids sleeping on a few couch beds and a day bed and one full in the bedroom. The community areas are the yard games like volleyball the swim pool spa and the docks and kayaks and lake toys and trash container across the street. Remember do not park on the street say in your driveway please and avoid using or intruding on other guests if they are using that area just wait, they won't use the area for that long before you can use it next. This is on a cul-de-sac, and we own the lot across the street to park your vehicles.
We have a guest check in person that and if not available will get your code for you by text and check on you if needed, your first 4 guests are covered in the clean prep fee in in billing at approx. $20 per person.
We have an open-door policy.
This means you can add guests up to and including after your arrival.
The fees for your guests will be calculated after you decide your done adding or inviting guests and giving us your final total.
Extra guests are $25 per night and a 1 time prep clean and linen fee $20 per person less what you already pay in your original requested fee.
This can be deducted or will be taken from your deposit if not paid along with any damages or not cleaned or missing items.
We prefer to clear this up before your arrival if your open-door guests' numbers are certain, however we can wait until 24 hours before check-out if you prefer and need time to get your open-door numbers finalized.
This is much like a fridge in a hotel with fresh beverages as you consume them you will have to eventually pay at check out.

I knew it was older lake cabin, no worries it was nice. The weather didn’t cooperate so was unable to enjoy the property to it’s fullest.
My complaints: there were ants on the kitchen counters, no matter how many I killed more came back. So they need to get that under control, but again early season rental probably fine in middle of June. The hot tub is shared and actually sits on another cabins patio, so could be strange if you and your neighbors don’t know each other.
My experience was fine, if you want a lake front get away with some cool stuff around including pretty good restaurants I would recommend this place. Communication was fantastic, owner is super nice.

The hosts responded promptly to all communications and accommodated an after-hours check-in which was thoroughly appreciated. Unfortunately, the interior was plagued by a pungent odor (think uncooked chicken left in a trashcan for a couple of weeks) that was a dealbreaker for our wedding night and resulted in a last-minute pivot to Embassy Suites. While I can't comment too much on the rest of the facilities due to our short stay (less than 30 minutes), everything appeared visually clean and in great working order likely making for a great family or friends group weekend getaway. I would still recommend, just planning to show up during normal check-in hours and not be too exhausted to dialogue with the hosts if some special request or additional cleaning is needed (both of which I anticipate they would both promptly and thoroughly address).

This property is amazing with a ton of amenities! Two hot tubs worked great, tiki bar, pool table, lots of space! Great for family reunions, group gatherings, and more! The property manager was very nice to me and it really made my birthday extra special!

Very cool spot, other vacationers were super cool and everyone got along very well. Definitely more spacious on the inside than it looks from the outside so that's really nice and is a very beautiful and peaceful environment. Also super cool cuz they offer kayaks and conoes, volleyball, firepit, and a hot tub! :)

My group of friends and I DID NOT stay here!!! We walked in- washed our hands- and contemplated calling the health department because of the unsafe conditions.We were supposed to get the brown cottage and when we were being “upgraded” the house we were sent to was a yellow house that was recently flipped! When we arrived at the location that property was occupied. My rental description was that of the brown house and the pictures were on that location. We did NOT WANT, or ask for the “upgrade”. When we got to the property there were animal feces all over the yard- cigarette butts and garbage. I have pictures of all of this in addition to the newly painted bathroom which is a hazard because when you are painting you need to have a ventilated area for at least two days before staying. There was no carbon monoxide alarm, a faulty smoke alarm in addition to a non-working furnace and a potential gas leak. There was no fire extinguisher to be found in case anything did happen!
Our check in time was supposed to be at 3, got pushed back to 4, then 4:30, then 5:00 and then finally 5:30. It was communicated that there was an internet issue and that needed to be fixed. Upon arriving there was no evidence of repair work on the internet nor cable and was told they were not able to fix it so we were without!
As soon as I walked in the door it smelled like fresh paint. The silverware was still wrapped in plastic, everything had tags on it like it was recently bought.
Stacia was a ok communicator, but was asked and prompted with inquires she seemed to have a “quick” resolution to it all.
My friends and I decided that we could not stay in the rental due to a number of things- this rental IS NOT what we signed up for or where we were supposed to be .
Be careful with doing business or renting from these people. I have evidence of all of this, two way communication and pictures!

Stachia was a wonderful hostess. She showed us how to work everything in the house so we knew how to use everything and she was always a call or text away for any questions or problems. The house itself is truly a castle. A very welcoming home with everything you need in it!

Very Happy with this rental! Definitely a Five Star!
We were very happy with our stay. The communication was very good, the check-in process was smooth and informative, the home was very clean and had everything we needed. The view and sunrise was breathtaking. The location was easy to find and close to the Grand Rapids Airport. We will be staying again. Definitely a Five Star!

The bathroom door was off one hinge and could not be completely shut. The couch was very nice in its day but the padding was very worn and the reclining chairs did not function. The hot tub was spacious, but did lose temperature very quickly. The lake was very nice and the cottage had a small boat and a couple kayaks it shared with the neighboring house. I felt the cottage was over priced, but with a few repairs and a new couch could be a nice 1 bedroom cottage. There is a $50 linen fee that is not disclosed until you get onsite. Take cash for that fee.

I never received check in instructions prior to arrival even though I messaged the morning prior to arrival. I finally placed a call because I did not have the proper address which was my fault because it was buried in an description which included the other properties they had listed. Prior to getting to the cottage, I received a call from the cleaning person that she had not been notified earlier so the unit would not be cleaned until around 5:30; check in was 3:00. I asked if we could wait at the property until she came to clean so my dad and nephew could fish. This was agreeable. The property is older which is not a problem except the bathroom door is a pocket door which doesn't close all the way because it can't stay on its track. She said the owner offered to upgrade us to the nicer unit next door at no cost; it also needed to be cleaned. We said we would take the upgrade because the bathroom was more handicap accessible and the door actually closed. We left to have dinner. While at dinner, she called to tell me the unit was ready but I would need to make the beds. Also, there was a cleaning fee (not disclosed prior) that I could leave on the table in cash. Also, the TV was not working so they opened the unit above us for that. My nephew is in a wheelchair, my parents are elderly and none of them can climb the stairs. We went to bed and left early the next day. Very disappointed with the experience. I did not leave the fee.

I finally placed a call because I did not have the proper address which was my fault because it was buried in an description which included the other properties they had listed. Prior to getting to the cottage, I received a call from the cleaning person that she had not been notified earlier so the unit would not be cleaned until around 5:30; check in was 3:00. I asked if we could wait at the property until she came to clean so my dad and nephew could fish. This was agreeable. The property is older which is not a problem except the bathroom door is a pocket door which doesn't close all the way because it can't stay on its track. She said the owner offered to upgrade us to the nicer unit next door at no cost; it also needed to be cleaned. We said we would take the upgrade because the bathroom was more handicap accessible and the door actually closed. We left to have dinner. While at dinner, she called to tell me the unit was ready but I would need to make the beds. Also, there was a cleaning fee (not disclosed prior) that I could leave on the table in cash. Also, the TV was not working so they opened the unit above us for that. My nephew is in a wheelchair, my parents are elderly and none of them can climb the stairs. We went to bed and left early the next day. Very disappointed with the experience. I did not leave the fee.
