This small cottage is located on a quiet street with beach access right there. The home is older and quaint. It needs some updates but in general was a great beach cottage. Has fantastic deck and yard. Description online is very accurate. Should I be returning again with very small group I would rent again

I love this place it was so beautiful when i walk in the house it was so clean, i love that it was so closed to the beach. It was so relaxing and i love being behind the porch with my husband. My mother in law got to relax here, too. She love how you could sit in the back relax with the sounds of the waves.

Perfect location. Close to town, walking path, and beach. Backyard was the perfect size for our 2 labs. We ate every meal on the spacious porch. The house was exactly as described, a quaint beach cottage. It was the right size for my family and dogs. We hope to stay here again.

This house is just a few yards from the beach, so you cannot get a better location! I came down for the Wilmington Marathon, and it is a 2 minute walk from the start line. Such a good location!
The house was clean and very cute. There is a fenced in backyard, which my dogs loved because they had never had one before. There is also a wonderfully large porch, which would be wonderful in warm weather!
The reviews on this house are accurate. It is an older house, which is fine. The biggest thing to note is the furniture is old and isn’t the most comfortable for sleeping. Just a note if you use the couch to sleep. Otherwise, it is a nice and clean house with a great location!

Everything was wonderful. The house is perfectly rustic and we really enjoyed it. We would recommend getting more kitchen supplies so families can cook more with better utensils and lots and pans etc.. The house is amazing and I want to stay a few more times this year!!

We had a great time and the property was perfect for our two dogs, which decreased my stress level so I could relax. Looking forward to renting in the future as its near my inlays but still allows for privacy for us.

First time to Wrightsville Beach and a very good time.

Great location! Very accurate description of the house. Only thing misrepresented was the parking. Two cars max unless you have two vehicles that can go over the “lip” at the top of the incline. Otherwise the cars will hit bottom.

Property was quaint and location was excellent. House was an older home but was in good shape and marketed as such. Parking is very limited and tight. 2 vehicles max and no oversize vehicles. Pet Friendly was the bonus. Location was within walking distance of 4 restaurants/dive bars. Beach access was very close maybe 200 yards away. If you want to see some of Wilmington (Riverwalk and Downtown) the drive was only about 20 minutes. 2 Grocery stores and multiple upscale restaurants were 10 minutes away. We enjoyed ou visit very much!

Liked: Well-maintained fenced yard. Heated floors. Prompt reply to texts and prompt housekeeping service.
Didn't like: non-functional lights in carport which made it impossible to see trip hazards on driveway/walkway. Realtor was advised and was addressing but didn't achieve working condition during our short 3 day stay.

This house is in the heart of Wrightsville Beach within walking distance of just about everything. It's an older house, but still very functional. The fenced backyard was great for our dogs. Our only issue was that the house had been winterized prior to our stay and was not ready for occupancy in terms of water and heat. However, the property management company was very responsive and fixed those issues in a timely manner.

I loved the cottage! It is absolutely charming classic beach cottage. The back deck is amazing, and it is a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops, including my favorite ice cream shop! The cottage was neat, clean, and well appointed in terms of pots/pans, utensils, and appliances. The fenced yard was perfect for my dog. I look forward to staying here again.

Quaint, 1930’s beach cottage with some original features remaining. Almost stepping back in time. Great back deck, and fenced yard, wished I had brought the dog. The towering surrounding houses made for a fairly dark interior, brightest room was the master bath. Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shops, and of course the beach at the end of the road. It is definitely the owners second home as the posted reminder states and furnishings are very well-loved and used. Worked well for us as a Covid-safe, overflow accommodation to the larger family group home two blocks away. Proximity made up for any shortcomings.

Great Stay but Some Frustrations
There was as frustrating issue that there was no instructions on how to work the TV’s. There should have been instructions as well as information about how to get the wireless router to work. Even to the end of our stay we never got the bedroom TV to work. This should be shared with the rental company as well.

Bad Experience!!!!!!
Not what was advertised! Rules not available when booking - Bad Experience!
Access too late (4PM) checkout too early (10 AM). Too much responsibility on renter for bedding, trash and dish cleanup upon departure - Bad experience!

Reviewer Comments:
House is very nice, deck is fantastic. We would have preferred a third bedroom. Closets were inadequate, as owner belongs filled one completely and another had a pile of dirty carpets stacked. Pet hair everywhere... the property should have been properly vacuumed before our arrival. Garbage bin at the neighbor's house. Lights missing. Good location.
